Welcome Child of The King of Kings

Thank you for visiting Freedomborn in 2015, this is the opening page and the Focus of this Blog which I started in 2011, there has been ups and downs, Joy and pain along the way but always I have known God’s hand of Love guiding me onwards over the rocky ground and High on the Mountain Tops.

I hope you will be very blessed and  your very welcome to share what’s in your heart and even if you don’t know The Lord as you friend yet please still feel free to express those things that concern you or things that have puzzled you or ask  questions  that you have pondered on.

Perhaps  some  of you would like to share some Godly advice or how you have been blessed and uplifted by our Awesome and Loving God in your life.

I will also be sharing those things that have made me the person I am today which is a Spiritual Child of The King of kings and Lord of lords, my life as been a very hard one but my heart is very thankful for God’s never ending Love, Mercy, Compassion and His many Blessings.

I would like to now share the theme of The Blog in an uplifting and inspiring  Story, I don’t know who the Author is but if you do then I would appreciate you sharing this with me, but  if it touches your heart that is what is always the most  important and if so and  you want to express how,  please feel free to bless us  by sharing.

Becoming Who You Were Meant To Be

One day, a boy climbing in the mountains found an Eagle’s nest with an egg in it. When he got home, he put it under a hen along with her other eggs.

Chickens 4When the Eagle hatched, he thought he was a Chicken. He learned Chicken behaviour and scratched in the Chicken yard with his ‘siblings’, he didn’t know any better.

Sometimes he felt strange stirrings within himself, but he didn’t know what to do with them, so he ignored or suppressed them.

After all, if he was a Chicken, he should behave like a Chicken.

One day, an Eagle flew over the Chicken yard and the Eagle looked up and saw him. In that moment, he realized he wanted to be like that Eagle, to fly high, to go to the mountain peaks he saw in the distance. As he spread his wings, he suddenly understood that he was like that Eagle…

Though he’d never flown before and there was no mother Eagle to help, he still possessed the instinct and capabilities.

At first he flew unsteadily, then with greater power and control.

Finally, as he soared, he became the creature that God had made him to be.

‘When we realize in our hearts we have been leading only half a life, the other half is going to reach out to us until we seek the Lord to empower us to Live it.

We were made by God and for God.

Until we understand what He has planed for us and what He has equipped us for we will not feel fulfilled or complete.

God wants our Love and Friendship without Him in our life it is without real meaning or purpose.

It’s only in Jesus Christ that we discover our purpose and our calling.

Isaiah 40: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (KJV)

I’m Home- Our Loving God’s Amazing Answer to our Prayers

Prince Charles Hospital - Queensland -Australia 1Yes I’m home from Prince Charles Hospital and how I am able to be is a Miracle, having been advised by 5 different Doctors, some at each Hospital that I had a Heart Attack and that my ECG’s and blood tests showed damage to my heart and this was the same diagnose from the Doctor I spoke to a couple of hours before my Angiogram,  he said to me that I would need surgery as it was extensive, you can image my astonishment when they told me after the Angiogram that my heart was OK and that I could go home today.

Wow I still can’t believe it and yet it is True, I’m also no longer contagious and the symptoms of my Influenza B have lessened considerably to the point of being non – treating to my health or to other peoples.

A few things that touched my heart greatly during this time and which bring joy remembering, was to start with  when the Cardiac Doctor doing the Angiogram came to see me just before the procedure and held my hand, he called me Annie which was not on my records and than reassured me that I would be OK and that he would be looking after me, his manner was so gentle and caring.

Heart flowerThan next to my surprise in the recovery room they had pictures of heart shaped flowers, (see link below) you may remember I shared this link with you on my last Post which shows some of them and our heart too, once again I was overwhelmed with Thankfulness to my Abba Father even before I got the results of the Angiogram.

Heart Flowers https://freedomborn.wordpress.com/2014/02/14/valentines-love-from-the-lord/

All the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the Prince Charles Hospital that were responsible for caring for me were  very caring and supportive, I felt they went out of their way to assure me that my well being was very important to them,  my experience over the last 8 days, although not one I want to repeat again, was filled with happenings I could give Thanks for.

We can give Thanks too that Ron did not catch the Influenza B virus even though his immunity is low with being on the Chemo and that he was able to do what was necessary to keep things running smoothly at home including picking me up from the Hospital which was a long drive.

Another thing that brings me Joy, is remembering all of you and your  faithfulness , Thank  you again for Praying and for holding my hand during this  Storm and for also taking the time to share your Love and Compassion as you responded to my cry for help, what we do for others we are doing for Jesus,  let’s give Him Thanks wholeheartedly  for carrying us when we are too weak to walk.

Update on Urgent Prayer Needed, I’m in Hospital

I’m still in Caboolture Public Hospital ( see link below ) and I’m once again very Thankful for their Medical Care, the Doctors, Nurses, Staff in all fields, including the Kitchen Staff, have been very attentive and committed to giving their best as a Team.

God uses many tools and we give Thanks for all of them.

Prayer neededhttps://freedomborn.wordpress.com/2015/08/16/urgent-prayer-needed-im-in-hospital/

Unfortunately apart from the other Physical problems I’m now experiencing, some of my Tests showed I have “Influenza B virus” which is very serious and highly contagious, they have isolated me in a Private room and every one must wear masks including me when they visit. A blessing that I’m very Thankful for came from this, with Hospitals being very noisy it means now in a Private room I’m getting a lot of sleep, which is needed for healing.

I will still be Transferred in the near future to Prince Charles Hospital for a Angiogram and if needed an Operation on my heart, I’m not sure if I will be able to stay in contact but I hope so.

Ron has been wonderful, he has been helping me when needed with supplying necessities from home, recharging my Mobil and also caring for Monty and Mo-Joe, the M and Ms, who miss me greatly…True they told Ron they did Lol… but you can be sure I miss them.

Something else that touched my heart was the Love and care someone took to make little material bags to carry our heart monitors and tubs in that we constantly have to have attached, they have beautiful embroidered red hearts on them and on mine there is an A too, no doubt for Aorta but Anne does start with an A too!

Have you ever seen the shape of our hearts without tubs etc, God’s Signature is in other parts of His Creation too, on the link below it shows some of them and a photo of our Heart, perhaps you will also be able to share more.

I’m deeply moved and encouraged by all the Love my Blogging Friends have shown me and my other friends too, some of whom have visited or phoned. If only I could find enough words to express my Thankfulness for your faithfulness in keeping me in Prayer, having you as my Christian Brothers and Sisters in the Body of Christ is a great Blessing.

I’m also very Thankful for them and I’m holding on to God’s Promises in the Scriptures below during this Storm.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a Future and a Hope.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

Urgent Prayer Needed- I’m in Hospital

hDear Blogging Friends, I’m in Caboolture Public Hospital again, some say I’m having a bad day but it seems we are having a bad year.

I woke up on Friday morning with a sore throat which developed into a bad cold and by night time I was very weak and could not breath properly, Ron can’t drive at night but it would have taken him too long to drive from his daughters place and I was really battling so I called an Ambulance again. The Paramedics said my Blood pressure was very high and so once again I was rushed to Hospital.

After tests, ECG etc they said I had a server Chest infection that had caused a heart attack, which is still not stabilized and there is damage, I’m hooked up and have leads everywhere and I may be taken to a Hospital in Brisbane if needed, but they want to monitor my heart further first, hopefully it will settle down, I don’t understand all the Medical Terminology but I’m Trusting in God and my Doctors and yes Praying often.

Ron brought in a very old Laptop for me but I can’t receive e-mails, the Inbox is not working and it took a long time to log on, it kept cutting out, I’m using the Wi-Fi Dongle again which is not the problem, it’s working well.

Now some amazing things to Thank God for, once again the Hospital Staff have been wonderful and the Nurse that was caring for me in Emergency was a Christian, I had visited her Church about 5 years ago, when I lived on the Sunshine Coast. I told her about the last time I was in Hospital and the Butterfly (see my Post link below) she drew a small one on my Details board and we both shared about our Love for The Lord.

Home At Last 1

This morning feeling the need to come close to God, I tried to find a Christian Chanel on the overhead T.V but I couldn’t there was just Sport, News, Music and Ads. I asked if there was a Hospital Chaplin, I wanted so much to pray with someone but they told me no one was available till tomorrow because it was Sunday, so I prayed quietly with tears, please God comfort me.

Not long after I heard the Doctor tell Lilian, the woman in the bed across from me, that she could go home, I hadn’t talked to her because I had been too sick the day before and she had visitors most of the time when I felt better but when Lilian was waiting for her husband to pick her up, she walked over to me and gave me a bunch of flowers and said; Anne, God Loves you and is with you, I cried with Joy and than we Prayed together.

I’m once again holding close to my heart the Scripture below that Jesus gave me in my Storm and I have no doubts our Abba Father will work all this out for good. Thank you in advance for your Prayers.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. Amazing Battery Power from God

Mobility Scooter 1Once again my Scooter battery ran low last night, I thought there would be enough charge to do all my Shopping but there wasn’t, I had forgotten the short trips I had made during the week and so I was left parked outside of Woolworths, it was cold and would soon be dark but I was more worried about Hailey and Jasmine, two young girls from my Funday School that I had promised could sleep over again, I wouldn’t be home when they came and I didn’t have their Mother’s phone number with me to let them know I would be late and why. I plugged in the Battery that I always carry just in case to a power point outside of Woolworths, not welcoming the hours it would take to have enough charge to get me at least to the next Shopping Center, so I would be able to recharge again out of the cold night air.

I prayed as I waited, if only I could let the girls know, it was already nearly 5:00pm and I had only been charging half an hour and than amazingly I saw their brother Rick, Wow I couldn’t believe my eyes, I called out to him, he told me his Mum was shopping in Woolworths which is not our closest Shopping Center, I asked him to tell her that I would be home late and why. I was still amazed that my prayer had been answered so quickly and in such a special way and I told him so, Rick who is 13 also comes to my Funday School, he told his Mum that I was broken down and that I had said he was an answer to prayer and he sure was but there was more to come.

After Rick left I settled down for a long wait thanking God for His answer, Chance does happen as the Scriptures confirm but I knew this was more than Chance and what I discovered later proved it to be. I had phoned the RACQ but they would not have taken me home although they would have fully charged the Battery for me at their nearest Service Depot but there would still be a long waiting time, Ron felt it was better to charge it myself than to wait for them and I agreed.

But about 6oclock feeling very cold and worried about getting the Flu again, I reasoned from past experiences that I would have enough charge to get me to the Shopping Complex where K- Mart is to be able to continue charging enough to get me home and I would be out of the night air there. I unplugged and braced myself against the cold as I headed off, I started to sing Christian songs and felt better, I always do.

As I approached the Car-park which is all uphill at the back of the Shopping Center, I expected the Battery to show low but it didn’t it was still showing fully charged which was strange because it should not have, I continued on and because it was still showing fully charged outside of K-Mart I headed home and yes I was thanking God, the Scooter remained fully charged until I got to the top of my street and than one green light went out but there was no doubt now that I would make it home OK this time.

The girls live not far from me so I called in, their Mum said she would bring them up after dinner, which they would have been having with me, had I not lost Power. When I got home just after 6.30pm the first thing I did was put the charger on although my Battery was still showing all the green lights except one which means it would not take long to be fully charged again, it normally takes up to 5 hours from flat.

The girls came just after 7pm, we had some desert and talked about everything as we usually do and than we played Monopoly, time went real quick and than it was bed time for the girls, I checked on the Scooter but it was still charging and it was about 9:30pm it did not add up it should have finished a lot sooner because of being almost fully charged although I couldn’t understand why it was. I put the girls to bed and we talked and than said a good night prayer, they were tired and so was I, it had been a long day and I planned to go to bed too after the Battery was fully charged.

At 10pm the Battery light was flashing, which means it was almost finished  charging, it stopped  about 10:10pm which meant there must have been no Battery life left when it slowed right down but how did I get home from Kmart or even get to there …. Yes it was God’s Power, which we can never underestimate, He is God of the impossible.

Another wonderful example of God’s intervention is shared by Marie, see link below, we never have to doubt what’s impossible for man is always possible for God.

Are Christians Always Happy Clappy ?

Is it True, do we always have to be Happy Clappy because we are Christians, can we express disappointment, hate or dislike and even cry and if something is wrong, should we remain quiet and not seek to correct error in case we offend someone who disagrees with us or when they accuse us of error even though they offer no  Scriptural confirmation. Jesus warned us that some in our family, friends and even in the Church will reject us when we follow Him according to His will and stand up for His Truth and that we may even be Martyred but great will be our reward in Heaven.

Psalm 94:16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

Luke 21:16-18 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my Name’s sake.

John 15:17-19 These things I command you, that ye Love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of Love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.

Luke 6:21-23 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in Heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the Prophets.

God gave us emotions to express and there is a time for every emotion, none are prohibited even hate or anger, we are to hate what is evil but we are to resolve our fleshy anger and not seek revenge or hold onto bitterness and resentment but this is not meaning that we have to like or accept the evil they have done to hurt us.

Ecclesiastes 3:1- 8 (4) A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;(KJV)

Romans 12:9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

Have you expressed disappointment or hurt only to be told your negative or feeling sorry for yourself and that you should have the Joy of The Lord. Jesus was known as a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief and He cried but knowing He was Loved by The Father gave Him deep inner Joy even with tears in His eyes and we too have His Joy which is expressed by our Faith in our  God of Love even when we are suffering.

We are the Body of Christ and we are to comfort the hurting and even cry with them, yes the world tells us to Laugh or we will cry alone but Jesus tells us to come to Him when we are hurting and He will comfort us and as He comforts us we comfort others and to do so we need to know they are hurting, it is not a sin to express our True feelings, we can be real and not wear a happy mask.

Matthew 11:28 – 30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Romans 12:15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

Jesus knew and warned us that we would have trouble in this World and He does not expect us to be Happy Clappy about what we suffer but to rejoice that He will be with us as we go through it, comforting us and giving us the strength to endure and He will reassure us that all things will work out for good in our lives.

Yes we can rejoice even in suffering but not for what we suffer but that we have The Lord to hold on to in hardship knowing He will bring good out of it and being patient and Trusting in Him to do so we persevere instead of giving up as some do who have no Hope, we can be assured that He never leaves us to suffer alone and that He heals the broken hearted He doesn’t send them away hurting with empty, cold words.

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of Peace and not of evil, to give you a Future and a Hope.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the Children of men.

Reach Out In Love

Irena Sendler 3Irena Sendler a Loving, Courageous Christian woman was one of the most dedicated and active workers in aiding Jews during the Nazi occupation of Poland. She was raised by her Christian Parents to Love and care for people regardless of their beliefs or social status and her life showed she did but Irena also stood up against what she knew was wrong

Her father a Physician, died from Typhus that he contracted during an epidemic in 1917. He was the only Doctor in his town near Warsaw who would treat the poor, mostly Jewish victims of this tragic disease. As he was dying, he told 7-year-old Irena…

“If you see someone drowning you must try to rescue them, even if you cannot swim.”

In 1939 the Nazis swept through Poland and imprisoned the Jews in ghettos where they were first starved to death and then systematically murdered in killing camps. Irena, by than a social worker in Warsaw saw the Jewish people drowning and resolved to do what she could to rescue as many as possible, especially the Children.

Irena Sendler 2As an employee of the Social Welfare Department, she had a special permit to enter the Warsaw Ghetto to check for signs of typhus, something the Nazis feared would spread beyond the Ghetto. During these visits, she wore a Star of David as a sign of solidarity with the Jewish people and so as not to call attention to herself… Her heart goal was to save as many Children as she could and with the help of the Catholic Church and other caring Christians who supported her. Her courage enabled not only the survival of 2,500 Jewish Children but also of the generations of their descendants.

Children 3Irena “code name Jolanta” smuggled out infants in the bottom of a tool box she carried in the back of her truck. She used a burlap sack for bigger Children. She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers wanted nothing to do with her dog and thankfully the barking covered noises of the infants some of who were also sedated to keep them from crying. Older children who could pretend to be ill were taken out in Ambulances, with help many were smuggled through sewers or underground tunnels, or taken through an old Courthouse or Church next to the Ghetto.

Irena listed the name and new identity of every rescued Child, she hid the list in glass jars and buried them under an Apple tree in her friend’s backyard. Her hope was to reunite the Children with their families after the war. Indeed, though most of their parents perished in the Warsaw Ghetto or in Treblinka, those Children who had surviving relatives were returned to them after the War the rest were adopted by caring families.

For two years, Irena’s covert operations were successful. Then, in October 20 1943 the Gestapo caught up with her. She was arrested, imprisoned in Warsaw’s notorious Pawiak prison, and tortured her feet and legs were broken, yet even in her pain Irena refused to betray any of her co-conspirators or to reveal the whereabouts of any of the Children. She needed crutches and a wheelchair as a result of those injuries until she died in May 2008 at the age of 98 also still having the scars of those beatings Irena was sentenced to death but with help she escaped from prison, but for the rest of the War she was pursued by the Gestapo.

71Irena Sendler was awarded the Order of White Eagle, Poland’s highest distinction in Warsaw in 2003 at a special session in Poland’s upper house of Parliament, the President announced the unanimous resolution to honor Mrs. Sendler for rescuing the most defenseless victims of the Nazi ideology…”The Jewish Children.” He referred to her as a “great heroine who can be justly named for the Nobel Peace Prize. She deserves great respect from our whole Nation.”

When asked…”Where was God during the Holocaust ” Irena answered ” In my Heart “

Story received by E-mail, Author unknown.

Jesus and ManWhen we are in Christ Jesus He rises in our Heart and we are His Hands, His Feet, His Voice, His Arms and in Love and Compassion we reach out to those who are drowning in the Storms of Life and even if we find it hard to Stand in the Storms, Jesus will Stand for us and because we Trust in Him we do not fear.

It’s not in His will that we suffer in His Name as the Scripture below confirms but He knows we will and No we don’t rejoice for how we suffer or seek to suffer needlessly but we rejoice that He is with us in whatever we suffer and we can be assured it will be used for good in our lives and in the lives of others.

Finding Hope In Cancer

Freedomborn ... Aussie Christian Focus:

I had a very strong calling this week to write a message about God’s never ending Love for us and to also ask my friend Joy, if I could share with you her heart touching Story of when she was healed of Cancer, the Doctors had given up on her but God hadn’t.

Than after reading Patty’s wonderful Story tonight about when she had Breast Cancer, I just had to share it with you too, if you have ever doubted God’s Love, you won’t after reading these real life experiences, first Patties and hopefully Joy’s next week and than mine will follow, all different but amazing.

We remember Everything good we have in this World including Medicine as prescribed and approved natural healing remedies  came from Creation, which were  Lovingly designed for us by our God of Love.

Someone once said Hope is the Denial of reality, but Hope is always based in reality, although its reality is only seen by those who have Faith.

Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible.

God’s Blessings – Anne.

On July 9, 2000 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I was 38 yrs old, a non smoker with no family history of breast cancer. I was more concerned with developing heart disease from both of my parents and never gave cancer a thought.

During my physical I casually mentioned a lump I found a few weeks earlier to my doctor and he suggested I get a second opinion since it looked suspicious. My doctor came out as the nurse confirmed with me the appointment in Oct with one of our local surgeons, he then quickly interrupted and told his secretary to get me in that week with someone else, he did not want me waiting that long. At that point I knew it was serious, and it was.
