Mark Ready
One day I had a vision and found myself in Heaven, St. Peter met me at the Pearly gates, “welcome Annie he said” then he escorted me around this never ending building. As we walked down the long halls there were differant Clocks everywhere all differant shapes and colours and under each Clock was a name but the hands all went at different speeds. I asked St. Peter for an explanation, he explained that each person on earth had a clock and that each time they sinned the clock ticked faster.
Promptly Looking at the Clocks I noticed some of their hands were not moving at all and I asked whose Clocks are they, Oh, they belong to those who are ready now and perfected. We passed many other clocks along the hall and many I recognized but I could not see Ron my Husband’s Clock, So I asked St. Peter, where is Ron’s Clock and he said, Oh, we keep it in the office for a fan, I started to laugh, then he added and we keep yours Annie to Air-condition the whole building.
” Thank the Lord for His Grace and the assurance in Scripture that as Christians if we aim for Godly perfection we can be perfected in Love now we don’t have to wait till we die.”
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect.
1 John 3:4-11 Whosoever is Born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God….
2 Corinthians 13:10-12 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be Perfect, be of good comfort, be of one Mind, live in Peace; and the God of Love and Peace shall be with you.

So True Jackie, it makes you wonder how anyone could choose to hurt Him by continuing to sin, perhaps they don’t really know Him in their heart, just their head.
Thankfully God does indeed forgive our past sin when we repent and turn away from it but He also gives us victory over sin, so we no longer sin .. How good is that!

Good twist on an old one.
As a Roman Catholic many years ago, I ‘knew’ that although I had confessed my sins and gained absolution, they still had to be paid for in ‘purgatory’.
What a blessing to KNOW that when confessed and repented of, my sins are COMPLETELY gone – as far as the east is from the west. In fact, if I mentioned an old, forgiven sin to God, He would reply “My child, you must be mistaken. I have NO RECORD of you ever committing that sin!”
What a blessed assurance we have that He continues His work in our lives, perfecting us, molding us into Christlikeness, and that one day, He will present us faultless before the throne.
What an amazing God!

Hi Angela, very True God keeps no record of wrongs, when we confess with our heart He clenses us of all evil as you shared. I did a post about this very Truth, I will leave the link for you below.
How wonderful to know that we are even now in Christ Jesus seated with Him Ephesians 2:6 and are perfected in Love and have His mind.

Hi Cathy, yes I laughed too when I first heard it but of course there were differant names but like all jokes there is a message or motto that we can learn, but we need to be careful some are not always good, like jokes that put blonds down. My girlfriend and some other blonds told me they hurt and that they don’t like being called idiots or made fun of, with one blond woman not realising this when she got upset, I said you have got to laugh at yourself, she quickly said then way are you laughing at me, laugh at yourself. I asked God to give me discernment and now I’m careful I don’t offend, if I do it is not deliberate and I say sorry.
