Update on Alissa and the Children in Nepal

Nepal

I have been in contact with Alissa and thankfully all of the Children and their Carers in the Sunshine Orphanage in Nepal are safe and well, we give Thanks to God that they escaped harm during the Earthquakes but cracks in the walls of the Orphanage building has made it necessary for Alissa to find another Home for them in case once again their lives are in danger and also because Alissa will be caring for more Children now, so they will need larger accommodation.

The Children are going to a Christian School now and are excelling in their Studies, Alissa keeps in contact with them daily with Skype when she is in Australia raising money for their support.

Please continue to pray for them and for all the People of Nepal.

    • I would like to say T that I wasn’t worried but with not being able to get in touch with Alissa for two weeks, I was upset and thinking the worse, especially after the second earthquake that took so many lives but Praise God He was Faithful to answer our prayers, Thank you also T for your faithfulness to Pray.

God’s blessings now and always – Anne.

Anne, I loved the picture with the children. It reminds me once again of Jesus’s words in Mark 10:14-16, “When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.”

Lovely picture of Alissa and some of the children, the same with the other one, so blessed that they ere not harmed in the recent earthquakes. God has been so good watching over and caring for these lovely children. The burden for Alissa will be now increased as more children will need care now. We pray that Alissa will find the funds to cover this new need, we can pray for her at this time .

    Blessings.

    • Yes I rejoiced too Diane, they were so close to the destruction but not one was hurt, they were having lunch and so were kept safe in the Orphanage, many who were walking down the Streets were killed, some houses which were not very safe collapsed killing them and the Occupants too but we can give Thanks that Alissa, the Children and the Carers were not hurt or worse, it’s sad that most in Nepal choose to worship Pagan gods.

God Bless you Diane now and always – Anne.

    • Thank you for your concern Jalal, yes God must grieve, most people in Nepal are Pagan and so they do not acknowledge our God or pray to Him and their gods offer nothing but deception and finally heartache with being separated eternally from God their Creator.

        • Very True Jalal, it is why God tells us to teach our Children about Him, sadly many don’t even in our Countries.

God’s reality is a part of all our lives, we see it all around us but those who are in darkness won’t acknowledge it , we pray that God will open their eyes but it will still be their choice to repent showing they believe in Jesus in their hearts, He does not force anyone, He does not want Puppets but for all of us to freely Love and obey Him.

See you soon and thank you Jalal, it is a Blessing sharing with you about our Awesome God both on your Blog and ours.

          Blessings – Anne.
