A Senior couple Bob and Joan went to breakfast at a Top rating Restaurant that served a la carte,” but where the “Seniors’ special” two eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast and coffee was only $5.99
“Sounds good, but I don’t feel like the eggs Joan said to the Waiter.”
“Then I’ll have to charge you $6.99 because you’re ordering, from our a la carte menu, the Waiter said.”
“You mean I’d have to pay for not taking the eggs?”
Joan asked incredulously.
“Yes!” stated the waiter.
“I’ll take the Special Joan replied.”
“How do you want your eggs?”
“Raw and in the shell,” she said.
Joan took the two eggs home…
Seniors are not to be underestimated!
They have been around the block more than once.
The Lord tells us our Seniors have life wisdom and are to be respected and as Christians having asked and believed they have His wisdom and their advice is to be valued.
Are there any Seniors in your life… appreciate them their special!
Yes Anne seniors know ‘eggsactly why they dont wont to ‘shell out for a few unfunny ‘yolks. She was thinking of saving so to be “bacon at her home kitchen.
cheers

Hi Love, we do very much need to shell that out to the youth of today, some think we have cracked and don’t understand that we do indeed understand the whites and the wrongs that end up frying and scrambling us or uplifting us, instead they treat us as a yolk but not all thankfully some concider us good eggs.
Love your scrambled Annie, now that’s a yolk 😀

Hi Dei, I have always Loved the Elderly from a child, Hmmmm now I’m one or close to it, there was a couple called Mr and Mrs Gabby who lived on the river edge, which all the houses backyards in my street ran down to. I found them by accident just walking along the river bank one day, I was 8 years old and when I visited, Mrs Gabby would get out her best china and make me a hot milk drink with bickies and it would be served with a cloth serviette which had embroidered flowers that matched the cups, I felt very special but the most wonderful thing is they listened to me talk on and on about anything and nothing, and they were really interested, Wow how very blessed I was.

Hi Anne. It has always beaten me why we pay more for milk with the cream removed than for the whole milk. Sure, I accept that extra work is required to remove the cream, but they sell the cream anyway!
Oh well, since I am a senior senior . . .

Hi Angela, I’m not sure where you shop but most Supermarkets sell both whole and skim milk at the same price but you are right often light cheese, light cream and light sour cream is dearer…. I think I will just buy a skinny cow 😀

Hi Terra, yes it is a good one and a good laugh but how sad that those who not only have life wisdom but also Godly wisdom are often ignored or even laughed at, Satan has indeed planted his seeds and even used humour to put them down, that is for sure.
God tells us we are to stand up when the elderly walk into a room, that is how much respect we are to show them but please don’t feel you have to do that Terra just a nod in my direction will do, with lowered eyes of course 😀
