After sharing about God’s blessing of Ink for my Candy Cane Messages, two people told me that they had experienced similar after their Printer had shown there was no Ink so I went back to my Printer and copied another 2 pages of the Candy Cane Messages and they printed OK but like before when I tried to print other Colored Pictures they were discolored and the black was very light, so I tried The Candy Cane messages again and they were OK and this happened 5 times, the only other printing that copied OK was my Phone Number and E-mail Address that I needed for my Christmas Cards with them being new to most of my friends and Contacts and I don’t think I had done enough copies at the Library, so I was very Thankful for them, although after two copies they wouldn’t Print with Colour but the Candy Cane Messages did …… God’s Ink is Amazing to say the least.

I have been blessed again by Our Awesome Abba Father providing the Ink I needed, I still can’t believe it happened again but it did, this time it was not for my Poetry, (see link below of how God blessed me in 2006) but it was for something very special to me.

I have a Ministry outreach at Christmas that gives me a great deal of Joy each year, I have been using the Candy Cane message that I received by e-mail and my own Christmas Blessing (see below) as a way of sharing The Gospel. I buy about 80 Candy Canes than I attach the messages with a ribbon after laminating them and I give them to those I have had contact with over the year, including Staff at my Supermarket, Chemist, Doctors and Friends and my Funday School Children but the majority I put in Letter Boxes and yes I’m sure some don’t read them but even if just one person does, it’s worth it, good seeds are being planted.
THE CANDY CANE
THERE WAS A MAN WHO LOVED JESUS CHRIST SO VERY MUCH THAT HE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR JESUS’ BIRTHDAY,
BEING A CANDY- MAKER HE DECIDED TO USE HIS TALENTS TO HONOUR JESUS, SO HE DESIGNED THE FIRST CANDY CANE.
WHEN THE CANDY CANE IS HELD UPRIGHT IT IS THE SHAPE OF A SHEPHERD’S STAFF WHICH THE SHEPHERD USES AS HE WATCHES OVER HIS SHEEP AND IS A SYMBOL OF LOVING CHRISTIAN SERVICE AND CARE.
JESUS CHRIST IS OUR SHEPHERD. WHEN THE CANDY CANE IS TURNED UPSIDE DOWN, IT THAN BECOMES THE LETTER ‘J’ FOR JESUS THE JOY OF LIVING AND BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.
JESUS WAS BEATEN AND STRIPES WERE PUT UPON HIS BACK WHEN HE WAS CRUCIFIED IN PAYMENT OF OUR SINS. SO THE CANDY CANE WAS MADE WITH RED AND WHITE STRIPES TO SHOW THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST WASHES AWAY OUR SINS AND MAKES US PURE AND WHITE AS SNOW .
ONE BOLD STRIPE REPRESENTS ONE GOD WHO IS THE FATHER OF US ALL. THE THREE FINE STRIPES REPRESENT THE GODHEAD OR THE TRINITY AS CALLED TODAY WHICH IS ONE GOD REVEALED TO US IN THREE WAYS, THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT,
GOD IN HIS COMPLETENESS. THE CANDY CANE IS MADE BREAKABLE AND CAN BE RECEIVED AS A GIFT, THE SAME AS WE CAN RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST WHO IS GOD’S WONDROUS GIFT OF LOVE TO ALL OF US.
HE GREATLY LOVES YOU AND ME AND HE DIED TO SET US FREE.
I was able to buy most of the Candy Canes for this year at a very low cost because the Shop was closing down, so I brought a lot more boxes and as I had already brought some for Funday School I had well over a 150 Candy Canes but than discovered I had very little Ink left, both lights were showing empty on my Printer and I knew I wouldn’t get the Ink in time from my Supplier to do all that was needed to get the Candy Canes ready for delivery but than I reasoned I could Photocopy the messages at the Library as I had with other needed messages, although it would be expensive for that amount but it was worth it.
I decided to try the Printer again first, perhaps it would print a few pages but amazingly it just kept printing until I had enough Candy Cane Messages and Christmas Blessings for all the Candy Canes and than there was no more of God’s Ink left.
They say that God’s work done in His way never lacks His supply, how True that is.

Yes it was a wonderful Miracle Tricia as it was with my Poetry in 2006, why am I so blessed, I don’t know except to say God is Love and He longs to bless us, just as we enjoy blessing those we Love and seeing their Joy in our gifts of Love.

Yes God continues to bless me and bless me, sometimes it is just in my heart when He calls me precious but at other times I can share His amazing intervention in my life and it gives me great Joy to do so.

Thanks Debbie and no need to apologize, I will be disappearing soon myself to write my Christmas Cards, I have done a few of them but there are many more and also the Candy Cane messages have to be cut and Laminated now and than cut again and than I have to deliver them but it’s a blessing to be able to uplift and encourage others in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.

We miss the point of Christmas if we don’t share the good news about Jesus Christ’s birth, life, death, and resurrection! I still send out “snail mail” Christmas cards and pray over the people the cards are sent to.

Amazing Ink, I love the story of the Candy Cane Anne, the shape of the Shepherds Crook ,of Jesus the Good Shepherd . He said ,’the sheep know me ,and trust me and follow me ‘ The simple message of Gods love wrapped up in a lolly . What a great way to get out a message!

Thanks Love, we always enjoyed the Candy Cane message, I don’t know who the Author is but yes it’s all about God’s Love and His Gospel of Hope, all wrapped up in a yummy lolly as you said.
I wish I had brought more Candy Canes but I did buy the last of the 50cent box ones and I had already brought others but with God supplying His Ink and our friends encouragement as well as all the encouragement from our Blogging friends, more would have been good but it’s not Christmas yet so there is still time to buy more.

Thank you for the Christmas card – I have the sparkle card hanging on my tree. Yours is on the way. I am finally getting caught up from all those appointments and then working extra hours each week to get caught up at work. “Catching up” seems to be my theme for these last few months of the year. That old Amish saying “the hurryier I go the behinder I get” is coming true. 🙂

But something you may be interested in Linda if you want Pictures of Quail, call them Game Birds and ask for Public Domain Pictures but if you are not using them to make money or to sell them, you are allowed to use most Pictures even ones that are Copyrighted unless noted not too.

Thank you, Anne. And I understand that not allowing comments on my blog is frustrating to some. I also know that my blog will never be wildly popular for this reason.
However, I have been diagnosed with severe PTSD caused by, among many other things, my dad coming so close to murdering my mom that I thought she was dead, and then my mom trying to gas us all to death. When I was 14, I had a post-traumatic mental breakdown. The year was 1967, more than a decade before PTSD was known. Thus, I was misdiagnosed with schizophrenia and put in a mental institution, where even more horrific things happened to me. I spent the longest two years of my life in that institution, locked on maximum security with the criminally insane murderers, even though I had never been violent, never threatened to be violent — rather, my “crime” was trying to run away.
I am telling you this so that perhaps you will understand that when I became a target of internet trolls and bullies a few years ago, I could not handle it emotionally. I took my blog down. Later, after much therapy and prayer with a Christian therapist, I decided to put my blog back up, but without comments. I am still not on Facebook however, and may never be strong enough to go there

Oops, my tablet posted before I was quite finished. I just wanted to add that someone whose spine has been crushed in a terrible car crash may never be able to walk again, but being able to get around by wheelchair is still a worthwhile goal. My style of blogging may not be your style of blogging. But considering how very far I have come in my life from when I was in my most broken condition, I must respectfully disagree with your opinion that what I do is not really blogging. I am running marathons now in the blogging world, compared to what I used to not be able to do.

As I shared before Linda, it’s your Choice how you Blog but I consider others encouragement and advice very important, Blogging is not just about what I want to share, often those who have commented on my Messages especially the ones when I shared my Abusive Past, have greatly blessed and comforted me and they still do every time they visit and share what’s in their heart. You can read their support and encouragement on this Post and this includes your first comment too, which I could never have been able to read if I had blocked all Comments and I also would not have learned more about you and yes as sad as it was for you but like with me too it’s wonderful how God has kept us under His wings of Love until today we can say He is our Abba Father who Loves us greatly and I Love you too Linda in Christ Jesus and you can be sure He will never hurt or abandon you either.

I’m sorry to hear about all the Trauma you suffered Linda, I also had a Traumatic Childhood and was wrongly diagnosed as an Adult with a Mental Illness and so was in and out of Hospitals for 18 years and the stigma from even Nurses was very much part of all I suffered.
When I first started Blogging I received hate Mail, was abused and slandered and propositioned by a Married man, Thankfully when Ron joined me most of it stopped but not the back biting and slander which other Bloggers have told me about although sometimes my comments are deleted and ignored but mostly Cults and Childish Christians do this and False Teaches or those deceived by them. Something that helped a lot with your type of problems Linda, was Spam Control, it’s great, ask WordPress about it.
By the way I’m Physically disabled too Linda and have been for many years, I’m also Dyslectic and can’t write a personal letter fluently but with my Post and Comments words as well as the Scripture just flow, although I still have Spelling mistakes, Punctuation and Grammar mistakes too, yes I’m a cracked Vessel but God is indeed The Super Glue.

Thank you T for your encouragement, I received the Candy Cane message by e-mail the greeting is mine, I have now done an update and yes although others doubted that it was Amazing Ink because of their own experience, God confirmed it was again and even did more as you will see.

That was a ‘miracle supply’ Anne. It reminds of the story of the widow of Zarephath whose bottle of oil never ran dry until she had no more containers to refill. In the account in 1 Kings 17:16, it was said of the woman, “For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah.” I am sure your experience resembles this one too. God still works miracles of us.

Thank you Victor, I love your connecting thoughts and I agree God does indeed do Miracles today as my life and others confirm, there will be counterfeit too but these will be tricks and deception, the real Miracles can’t be duplicated by man.
