Today is an exciting day! Today on this blog we are going to be a part of something big and brand new that has never been tried before. Today Compassion International along with it’s family of friends, sponsors, and bloggers from all over the world are coming together to help fund and launch a brand a new Child Survival program to help moms and babies in Gujarat, India! Did I mention… the plan is to do it….ALL IN ONE DAY?! Today is ‘Giving Tuesday’ and I am inviting YOU to be part of it. Why are we doing this? Because these are the facts….
- In the small community of Gujarat most of the mothers are just teenagers.
- Over 70 percent of the babies born here are born in their homes.
- Most are surrounded by, illiteracy, alcoholism, abuse, child labor, and child marriage,
- They are malnourished.

Thank you so much for re-blogging this Anne. I am sorry I haven’t responded until now. I have been on a Mission trip working with Samaritan’s purse on Operation Christmas Child and have not been on the blogs this week. I really appreciate your helping to get the word out to help the moms and babies. I hope to find out soon if we reached our goal and will give you an update. That would be great T, I would appreciate knowing if you reached the goal, even if just one or two are helped their lives are very important but how good it would be if all God’s needy Children were cared for.
Prayers that come from the heart can move a mountain of poverty because those who pray them will reach out in Love and seek to help but not because they have to but because they want to like you do T.

Hi Anne, I just got the information today so far we have raised a total of $13,547. which is great! We are more than halfway to our goal! we did not do it in one day but are still trying to reach the goal and We will reach it I know! Thanks Anne for the message from Terri, as I said to her, mistreated and ill cared for children in any situation is horrific, unfortunately Christian aid in such places is very hard to accomplish, so whatever Terri can do is a blessing.

I agree Love there are so many in need today but even if we can just help one or two that is a blessing and if we all did this there would be no needy Children.
