Have I walked In Their Shoes

Seeking to understand the pain in someone’s heart gives Love and Compassion right from the start for Jesus will draw them close to His side when in Kindness and Care in His Love we abide.

With a critical spirit if I judge others and hate them for what I see, sadly it is a reflection of what is in me, have I walked in their shoes or have I felt their pain judging without Love only leads to our shame.

Each person is a vessel that God has set apart chosen in Love from His very Heart, some will walk obediently in His way others will choose to disobey.

So in Love we take time to show them we care warning them of the  things that  cause them to stray, helping them to see that  God’s way is best and that it’s in repentance and forgivness they will find His Peace and Rest.

It’s not us who discerns where their fate lays only God alone sees into their souls and it is Him who knows what their destiny will unfold.

Yet we are to share God’s truth in word and deed so their hearts will be set free but with their sinful actions we do not agree, for if we look the other way in bondage they will continue to be unless saved before death for Eternity but a wasted Life it will be.

We don’t judge others thinking we are right and  pushing  them away, or it may be us who needs compassion one day, but in fellowship we cannot share with those who sin and seek their own way because God tells us to beware of those who do not obey.

Loving even our enemies we pray for their souls for deep in their hearts they may be seeking someone to care, so willing we are to be showing Jesus’ kindness and concern and that His love doesn’t have to be earned,  but we warn  that sin  keeps them apart from His Loving heart.

How often the burden that others bear would be lifted if in Love with them we did share, giving Jesus comfort to the weary and those going astray for He never gives up or casts them away, but if they continue to sin with Him they cannot stay, so if asked He gives them the  strength to cast sin away.

Knowing  His redeemed Children right from the start and in Eternity we will always have a place in His Heart.

Gods Love is the guiding light for each day given to us as we freely give it away, then the Joy that is ours is greater by far then for all those who are trying to reach their own unreachable star.

Then deep in our hearts rising anew the Morning Star will see us through, for Jesus lifts us and guides us on our way and as we seek Him  in thankfulness and trust we do pray.

We His creation cannot stand apart for as His redeemed Children although unique in our own way where united together in His heart we will stay,

For Jesus is the beginning and the end of each day.

Lovely Anne thanks for the reminder of not adopting that critical spirit ,which will in turn cause for us ,apart from a spoiled relationship with our God , but affect our physical health also , so the experts tell us. Hi Love, sorry I just found your comment, what you shared is True but we remember also some need to be corrected when they are doing what God’s considers evil, not to do so is not Love but apathy or fear of rejection or for other selfish reasons which are not about others well being but our own agenda.

Now about the Bible opening in the first chapter of Matthew which tells us all about Jesus’ genealogy, please take special note that if He didn’t have one, nor would we, a Light 💡 but does it give you any ideas.

  2. This is so true. Unless we have walked in someone’s shoes, we will never understand totally what they are going through. But love and compassion should be there to lift them up and let them know that though we don’t understand, we will try out best to be by their side rather than write them off because we may see differently as to how they handle and cope with their problems. Leading them to Jesus and giving them truth of the Word with a soft heart is the greatest thing we can do along with praying for them. Thanks for the post. I hope others understand this and try their best to be an example of Christ as he has called us all to do.

Thank you Terra, yes we all need to see with our heart not just our eyes and to cry with others in their pain and rejoice with them too, to take the time to show we care and to be a friend in the good times and the bad, but as you said …all this is for nothing if we dont share the Hope we have in The Lord.

I enjoy your sharing Terra it always has so much heart.

Thanks for being there for me – Christian Love Anne.
