Someone said to me a few years after the bombing of the Twin Towers … why would we want to remember the horror of September 11th, can’t we just forget it!
This Power point that I have Posted which I received and Adapted is not to remember the evil that was perpetrated on this day but to Praise and give thanks to God that He always watches over us, we are safe in His care in Christ Jesus, and we remember the families and friends of those who perished and also those who were hurt with compassion and for those who were killed with respect.
Satan cannot take a life that belongs to God before time, God as He tells us in the Scriptures will prevent this as He did with Job, who even though He did not know God as we do in The Spirit, sought Him with all his heart and so he knew He was Just and Fair and that what ever happened He would bring good from it and so Job was thankful for this regardless of whatever happened.
Yes there will be trials and temptation inflicted on us by Satan and because we life in a fallen world and people sin and are unloving, but we will never be alone as we suffer these attacks and hardships and yes when it’s our time, even death. God will help us to stand strong till the end, as we Trust in Him and He will work it all for good because we Love Him and that is because He Loved us first. He has called us and equips us to do the good works He planned for us to do in advance knowing we would be faithful, all good things come from Him and in Him we do good.
Lamentations 3: 33 For He doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”
Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

In going through all the horror and tragedy of such things, the assuring thing is that God goes through it together with us, as in most things we should develop a God sensitive eye to see Him being there with us.

Very True Love and when we Trust as a child and are dependant like they are, our eyes are opened to the wonder of all God is, He indeed is LOVE and in Him we also Love with Truth and heart felt passion as He does .

My friend, I am blessed today because you shared a post that celebrates God great love for us and that we are all reminded that he watches over us more during times of darkness and trials. 9/11 should never be forgotten. The victims and their families deserve to be remembered as well as for us to be reminded that evil is around us just waiting. That we need a God to help us and pray for that light may win over darkness. Evil is real and they come in many forms. We should not let others take away our freedom.
