How wonderful that we can Store up Spiritual Treasures in Heaven as we walk in The Fruit of The Spirit, showing Love and Kindness as we do God’s good Works that He has prepared in advance for us to do.
He gives us opportunities to reach out to others offering His Love and Eternal Hope, molding and shaping us as The Holy Spirits Fire melts the coldness of our fleshy hearts putting our Carnal Flesh to death and Perfecting us in Love and so bringing God’s Love, Mercy and Compassion to us and to those we reach out to in this hurting World.
When we are Storing up Heavenly Treasure, we come close to God, so Satan flees, He cannot stand goodness.
Having our focus on Money or what it can buy robs us of having the right foundation which is God, who tells us we can’t Love both Him and Money.
Seeking after Worldly wealth is dangerous, it brings many into Spiritual Poverty, God provides our needs we do not have to seek after great wealth, it only leads to greed which is a foothold for Satan to manipulate us.
Matthew 6:19 -21 Lay not up for yourselves Treasures upon earth where moth and rust doth corrupt and where thieves break through and steal But lay up for yourselves Treasures in Heaven where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your Treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Anne, This blog post reminds me of a story of one of my boys when he was very young. He wanted me to “hide my Bible” so bad men could not steal it if they broke into our house! Our treasure is with God and no one can snatch our salvation out of His hands! John 10:28-29- “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.”

How wonderful Debbie that your Son wanted to protect the Bible and yes very True God knows those who are His and has from Eternity and not One of us will be Lost….. How Good is That!
We remember also Debbie that God’s Children will show they are His Children, we won’t walk in darkness, we will be like Jesus on this earth as we see confirmed below and we will Store up Spiritual Treasures as we walk in The Spirit.
1John 4:16-19 And we have known and believed the Love that God hath to us. God is Love; and he that dwelleth in Love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our Love made Perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this World. There is no fear in Love but Perfect Love casteth out fear because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made Perfect in Love. We Love Him, because He first Loved us.
1 John 2:4-6 He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His Commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth His word in him verily is the Love of God Perfected hereby know we that we are in Him. He that saith hebideth in Him ought himself also so to walk even as He walked.
Romans 8 :12-15 Therefore, brothers we have an obligation but it is not to the Sinful nature to live according to it or if you live according to the Sinful nature you will die but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body you will live because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Romans 6:5-7 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection: Knowing this that our old man is crucified with Him that the body of Sin might be destroyed that henceforth we should not serve Sin. I appreciate your Prayers very much Graham, we need each other in The Body of Christ to help carry the load when it gets heavy and Jesus gives us His Strength and equips us so we can help each other in what ever way is needed.
So very True Graham what you said about Satan Tempting us to make Worldly goals more important than God’s and it is why God warns us about being Lukewarm , we can’t Love Him and Money too.

So good! It is true. I have found if I ever start to focus on money and the issues around it, I pray but my focus is still on the money instead of on Him. And that is a very empty place. As long as my focus stays on Him and His plans, I don’t let concern about the future consume me and then satan cannot win or manipulate my focus. Great post!

Thank you Joanna for your encouragement, I agree with you, when I worry about Money I loose my Peace too, it’s the Pits! and so True when we come close to God Satan flees, he wants us to worry and be upset instead of Trusting God, that is why he tells us that God willingly hurts us, even claiming it’s for our good, it’s hard to Trust someone whom we think will deliberately hurt us and that’s what Satan wants.

I’m so glad you are recovering! The Lord is so good! Please rest your mind and heart! It is kind of you to concern yourself about saving and responding to my posts. I count that as a true friend however, as your friend I would rather not burden you with the need to catch up. Thank you Jan for your understanding and yes I do Trust The Lord to lead me in Blogging, I couldn’t Blog if I didn’t because I’m Dyslectic and so I can’t normally write very much but it flows on Posts and with Comments. But I also like to respond to those who take the time to visit and share with me, It is very much appreciated because Blogging to me is like a Conversation or a two way Street not a dead end, I’m often very blessed by what they share on their Blogs the same as with your Posts Jan but my time is limited and being disabled it takes longer for my to do my day to day responsibilities.
In regard to my Accident I’m waiting to hear from the Hospital about my Operation for my shoulder but I will do an update when I know although with being Bulk Billed it may be some time before I hear when it’s scheduled.
