It did not come as a surprise to me when reading on a Blog recently that Porn like other Sins is accepted by some in the Church today and even called beneficial in Marriage but it made me very sad because I have seen this Sin lead to other Sins in Marriage such as Adultery and to Emotional Abuse, Physical Violence and Worldly Materialism, also to Separation and Divorce, yes Satan gets a foothold and wrecks havoc in the lives of those who accept Sin as harmless.
When Sin including Porn and Homosexuality is accepted as OK, it is minimized or justified, excused and even promoted as just another freedom of expression but Sin is Sin and it pollutes the soul and spirit of Men and Woman.
God is Love but He does not condone Sin, yes He does forgive Sin when we have heart Repentance, which is shown by our turning from evil and doing good through the empowering of The Holy Spirit, this puts our Carnal flesh to death as we aim to be Perfected in Love.

There are no Sexual secrets in our World anymore and we need to come to terms with this truth quickly. With the easy access to Porn on the Internet, there is truly no regulation to who sees what and when it is being seen. The real issue is Pornography doesn’t just come and go. It awakens curiosity, which later becomes an addiction, which becomes a normal habit that takes many years to come out of. And most of the time, Porn comes with its twin; masturbation.

Yes I understand your hurt Bj, Porn does indeed corrupt and pollute all that is good but sadly some minimise and justify the evil it promotes, so now it’s even being accepted in the Church as OK. One Blogger claimed it enriched his Marriage, he couldn’t see that he is showing no respect for woman including his wife no matter how much he whitewashes it.

It is incredibly sad that human nature is to take the gifts of God (including physical intimacy in marriage) and turn it into something harmful and ugly.

So very True Debbie and not only Marriages but lives are destroyed by this evil and yet with True heart repentance, meaning turning from evil and doing good by the empowering of The Holy Spirit they can be restored, yes the Carnal flesh must be put to death.

This is so true. I have seen how devastating porn addiction can be. I have a wife who has been, and is, devastated and trying desparately to save her marriage due to his porn addiction call me in tears. It’s costing them a fortune in counseling and the heartache it has caused is overwhelming. If people think this is okay they have no clue how it affects the marriage and the children. It’s horrible.

So True Sue, Porn does have devastating affects as all Sin does but like all Sin it can be forgiven when repented of and we remember Jesus set us free from the bondage of Sin so we can choose not to Sin and than we will be empowered by The Holy Spirit not to Sin too.
