Where will we be on Judgment Day…..

JUDGMENT

We may have wondered at some time how it will be on Judgment Day, perhaps we have even felt fear and shame that  the wrong we have done will be heard by all those who are before the throne and we feel shame and dismay just thinking about it. We imagine a court full of on lookers, all those who are righteous and we grieve at the thought that they will be witnesses to our past shameful misdeeds…Wt

WtBut there is some wonderful Truths in the Scriptures that we can hold onto which reveals a different picture.WtOn this Day there will be no accusations  for those who are in Christ Jesus so Satan or the Devil, the great liar and accuser of all of God’s Redeemed Children, will not be able to accuse us of any wrong we have done, the reason why is  revealed in Scripture for all to see and one reason why is he will not be there to accuse us.  (Psalms 1:5 & 5:4-10 -101:7Wt

The other Truths are that when we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour repenting from the heart of all our sins and turning away from evil seeking to do good in the Power of the Holy Spirit, our debt as the Scriptures tells us was  Paid In Full  because  when we confess our sins.
Wt

WtGod is just and will forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness and so we will than walk in righteousness because our flesh nature has been put to death by The Holy Spirit as we chose to walk in His Love, The Fruit of The Spirit by His empowering with now having God’s seed or Nature and The mind of Christ.Wt1 John 3:1-12 (9) No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.Wt

How wonderful that  God does not keep a record of our past wrongs, those sins were taken as far away as is the East is from the West when we are Born again, Psalm 103:3-4 & 12 they are no more, so they will not be held up for all to see, the slate is clean, and there will be no shame for us… Jesus bore it all on the cross.Wt

So when we Stand before God at the Great White Throne Judgment and the Books are open, because our names are written in the Lambs book of Life and not just in the Book of all those who have lived, what we will  give an account of is the good works that God prepared in advance for us to do. WtBut even in this God knows our hearts and so  it was Him who equipped and motivated us to achieve them and also gave us the strength to Stand firm and Persevere as we Trusted in Him…Wt
WtYet as incredible as it seems, we will be rewarded and also receive  the Crown of Life Eternal in Truth and Righteousness for all that He has done through us and when we bow our knee it will be in Love not fear and the Lord will say in Loving kindness to us… Wt

Wt“Well done good and faithful servant, you are my friend.”Wt

Satan will not be able to condemn us because he will not be there, the Scriptures reveal this in (Psalm 1:5 &5:4-10&101:7) and others, they tell us that the wicked will not stand in judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.Wt Yes all those who have sinned and not come to real repentance will be judged, but not with us or in the same way. In Heaven the Scriptures tell us we will have no memory of earth (see below) if we were to realize that those we cared about were not there, we would be in great grief but how wonderful that we will know only Joy in Heaven, there is no sadness, tears, pain or grief.
.
Isaiah 65 17 For, behold, I create new Heavens and a New earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
.
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
.

We hold onto this Truth and we don’t let Satan deceive us and cause us to fear, we remember  that Jesus is our Defender and in Him we are set free, not just at the end of time  but everyday as we walk in Him which means  we do not continue to sin because He does not sin and He gives us the Strength to resist any temptation that Satan my throw at us,  none will be greater then we can resist as we walk in God’s Love and Satan flees because Love and evil can’t co-exist.WtGod’s Love is the greatest Power in Heaven and on earth.  Wt “Jesus Christ Loves us with an everlasting Love. So  we need to “repent from the heart” and be genuinely  ‘sorry’ for all our sins previous, present and any we may commit in the future before we are perfected in Love and we need to turn from evil and do good not in our strength but the Lords, Jesus is our…Heavenly Advocate and Eternal Friend and as we walk in Him we respond in Love as He did from our heart and not out of fear…

Wt When we are in Christ Jesus and have been Born again ”There is nothing else that needs to be done. Jesus has done it all He died on the Cross so we  might have eternal life and no shame on Judgment day, we have already passed from death to Life our Judgment is finished our accountability will be for rewards for the good we have done in Christ’s name.Wt

WtAs God’s redeemed Children all those He has known from the beginning of time by His foreknowledge of our heart’s repentance we have  received His unmerited Mercy because of our willingness to accept the free gift of Salvation. Wt
Judgment has been passed and we can say with confidence our Debt has indeed been paid in full.

    • Thank you Limbiley, yes I love graphics too especially animations and I use them both often.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

I’m sure you will find Hosea heavy reading and when we read it and the rest of the Old Testament, it’s good to remember that is is not by God’s hand we suffer but we do reap what we sow. I was going to share my own experience of this privately but perhaps others will benefit too.

You may not know Limbiley if you have not read my Post when I shared about my 7 babies in Heaven. The first one was aborted when I was not yet 15 then I had 3 stillborn babies and the others I was nearly 5 mths pregnant, when I miscarried.

The Doctors were never sure if the Abortion caused the stillbirths and miscarriages because I smoked too, which can harm the fetus. God is not the Author of sickness and death and all good things come from Him not bad, to say He does evil to bring good out of it, the Scriptures tell us is slander but He does bring good out of evil, which He did in Hosea.

But please do not feel pressured to read Hosea Limbiley or it will not be beneficial, the desire to know God’s Truth can never be forced it’s a choice.

I believe everything happens for a reason, hence I am always seeking answers for understanding,

And I am almost done with Hosea and no it wasn’t forced merely suggested I chose to read it.And I am getting answers in it to other questions different from what I thought.

I know my next two posts will come from what I ve learnt there.

        • As I shared with you on your Blog and confirmed it with Scripture Limbiley, Chance happens. Nor does God plan evil for us, which I also confirmed with Scripture on your Blog.

Just like the Jews did we cause bad things to happen to us or someone else hurts us or we are put to the test by Satan and we also live in a fallen world, where there is sickness and death. This is why I shared about the death of my Babies with you, it was not God who told me to have an Abortion which is Murder or did He tell the Doctor who raped me to do so, He also did not buy me smokes or motivate my first husband to bash and abuse me from the time we were married. Do you want me to continue, bad things happen but it is not God’s will that they do as Hosea shows us.

Read very carefully the Scripture below Limbiley because without understanding God’s Truth, you my cause others to believe error. God Loves us greatly, but He cannot fellowship with us when we do what is evil, are disobedient, ignore His guidelines and also reject His word in Scripture, because we think we know more than Him.Yes everything happens for a reason but it is not God’s will when it’s evil, it is our choice when we do wrong, just as the Jews did.

Psalm 94:23 And God shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the Lord our God shall cut them off.

God does not cut us off WILLINGLY, what this Scripture is saying is WE DO IT TO OURSELVES meaning God no longer provides for us or fellowships with us when we do evil but if we obey Him in everything , He provides all our needs and keeps us close to Him, even in the bad times we encounter in life. When we pray and ask Him, believing He provides our needs and not Pagan gods like the Jews did, He blesses us greatly as shown in the Scriptures below.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

      • JOHN DOE AND HIS JUDGMENT?-BY STEVE FINNELL
Have men been given the authority to judge John Doe? Is John Doe’s eternal destiny the responsibility of man’s judgment? Some believe they have that authority.

        1. John Doe was a good man, he loved his family, was faithful to his wife, never mistreated his children, and never took the first drink of alcohol. John gave money to the poor and visited the sick. John never confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior. John Doe was an unbeliever. Men have made the judgment that he will go to heaven because he was a good man.

Ephesians 2:8:9 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
John 8:24 ‘Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He you will die in yours sins.

Is it right to pass judgment on John Doe and send him to heaven? No it is not!

        2. John Doe confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior on his deathbed, however, he did not have time to be baptized in water. Men say, John is in heaven because he ran out of time.

Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Have men been given the power to determine that John Doe will be in heaven even though he failed to meet God’s requirements for the forgiveness of his sins? Should men pass judgment on John Doe and send him to heaven? No they should not.

        3. John Doe became a Christian forty years ago, however, for the last thirty years John has been an unrepentant fornicator, a drunkard, a homosexual, and a thief. Men say, John died without repenting of those sins and is now in heaven. They say, he is in heaven because he was saved and once saved always saved.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators….nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves….nor drunkards…will inherit the the kingdom of God.

Do men have jurisdiction over the entrance to the kingdom of God? Can men pass judgment on unrepentant sinners, like John Doe, and send them to heaven? No they cannot.

CAN MEN PASS JUDGMENT ON THE JOHN DOES OF THIS WORLD AND SEND THEM TO HEAVEN?

Proverbs 16:25 There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

        • Sorry Steve, I just found your comment in Spam as I was about to log off, I almost missed it with you not having a Gravator image, I’m not sure why this happens, but don’t you just love Spam, they tell us how great we are and our Blogs too and even offer to help to make it better. Lol

In response Steve to what you have shared, God tells us not to judge anyone’s eternal Destiny, only He knows a person’s heart and if they are His, yes we can see by their actions and words if they are walking in the Spirit but they may come to heart repentance on their deathbed by the good seeds that have been shared and not snatched away even while they are passing over to eternal life, they will have no Spiritual rewards but they will escape the flames.

We will never know Steve if they don’t go to Heaven, we will have no memory of them or we would grieve and there is only Joy in Heaven, no sorrow or tears, the Scriptures as I shared also tell us we won’t remember the things of earth.

Yes Anne a good thought , also how will we respond when we get to heaven . I am reminded of that lovely song , ‘ I can only imagine ‘

Surrounded by your glory , what will my heart feel ?
Will I dance for you Jesus ,
Or in awe of you be still , Will I stand in your presence,
Or to my knees will I fall , Will I sing hallelujah ,
Will I be able to speak at all ?
I can only imagine , I can only imagine.
I can only imagine , when all I will do ,is forever worship you
I can only imagine , I can only imagine.
I love that song , it speaks of how I would feel .

    Thanks

You are a Blessing to us Barb and I’m sure to many others and will be more so in the future too.

It is also True all who do good to others will be rewarded because what we do for them we are doing for Him.

Thank you for your concern and kindness Barb, how good it would be if others followed your example in loyalty and faithfulness, not just to me but others too.
