Thank You For Your Helpful Advice

Thank you to those who shared their Helpful and Heartfelt advice with me in regard to Trusting others in our Friendships.

Proverbs 27:17 Iron Sharpeneth Iron so a Man Sharpeneth the Countenance of his friend.(KJV)

Yes is it important to Trust others especially our Christian Brothers and Sisters, if we can’t Trust we may be influenced by our own repressed emotions.  Trust is needed to Love fully, without Trust we will never know the deep inner Joy of God’s Love for Him and others.

Do we Trust everyone, No some seek to cause harm but we do Love everyone, so is this a Contradiction, No we Love them through Jesus, in other words we Trust Him fully so we are able to Love them even if they are our enemies and seek to harm us but we do not have to agree with anything they do that is evil.

We also need Truth in friendship not  apathy or agreement with the wrong we do, a few of my friends in obedience to God and in Love for Love rebuked me when I fell into Sin but not away, for sure I was not impressed at the time but my Love and respect for them now is very great,  they risked my friendship to warn me I was in danger because they Loved me enough to do so. Special friends are always Faithful and Loyal.

God’s Truth corrects error, are we willing to share it and obey it ourselves or do we just want Saccharin sweet platitudes that will eventually leave a bitter after taste.

But no one has to prove they are worthy of our Love just as we didn’t, God Loved us Unconditionally and Sacrificially even when as Sinners we hurt and ignored Him and He sent Jesus knowing that His heart would be broken to see His beloved Son tortured and killed and also to be Separated from Him because of our Sin so we could be Redeemed and set free from the Slavery of Sin.

We have Heartfelt Thanks that Jesus willingly chose to die for us because He Loved us too and He knew our Abba Father could not bear to be Eternally Separated from us. So even though Jesus also did not want to be Separated from His Father which our Sin would do, He still chose His will and not His own.

Sometimes  in life we are hurt, sometimes deliberately but also unintentionally by others, at times we may mistake their actions as being personal and meant to harm us even though there not. This is why we need to forgive and keep forgiving or we will become bitter and revengeful.

We also need to have Compassion for others and be there for them when needed. Being a Special friend means putting others first.

Until I had Heart Repentance and Understood what it meant to be Loved fully and for this to happen I also needed to be healed first, I did not Trust that Jesus would not deliberately hurt me as I had often been but I have no doubts now of His constant Love that always seeks our good and does not deliberately afflict us or cause us to suffer, our Abba Father Loves and cherishes us much more than Loving Parents do their Children.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the Children of men.

James 117 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of Lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Many today propagate error believing that God uses evil to bring good out of it, the Scriptures tell us this is slander nor does He hurt us to mold and shape us, this is not His needed Discipline or Loving Chastisement.

We reap what we sow, others hurt us and living in a fallen world presents Hardships too as does Satan when he puts us to the Test through his Trials and Temptations and by motivating those in his control to afflict us as he did with Jesus, Abraham, Job, Peter, Paul and all God’s Redeemed Children but our Souls are protected and Satan can only go so far before God says Stop! and through it all He gives us the Strength to Endure and keeps us Close to His heart so that in all things we can Rejoice and even when afflicted for the good we do, we give Thanks, not for the suffering but for the rewards it brings.

With us knowing fully that God Loves us and will not deliberately hurt us, it means we Trust Him without doubting and not just in our head but in our Heart too and we don’t doubt that He is Love or real either, we know He is!

Isaiah 43:1-3 Do not be afraid for I have Ransomed you I have called you by Name you are Mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression you will not be burned up the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel your Saviour.KJV

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of Peace and not of evil, to give you a Future and a Hope.

Psalm 107: 8 – 9 Oh that men would Praise the Lord for His Goodness and for His Wonderful works to the Children of Men! For He Satisfieth the longing soul and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

Psalm 18:1-3 I will Love thee O Lord my Strength. The Lord is my Rock and my Fortress, and my Deliverer, my God, my Strength, in whom I will Trust my Buckler and the Horn of my Salvation and my High Tower. I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be Praised so shall I be saved from mine enemies. (KJV)

  2. Thanks for this good summary of God’s ways. He chastens those He loves as a good father will do, but He does not provoke His children to wrath. He loves us all and does not want any of us to perish in our sin, but knows not all of His children will surrender to His love. Our Pastor pointed out that Abraham loved his son Ishmael as well as son Isaac, but God told him to listen to his wife and send Ishmael and Hagar away as part of God’s plan. We must love others like God does!

    • Thank you for visiting and sharing, I apologize for not visiting your Blog again, it was my intention to do so as I shared with you but Life happens although whatever hardship we encounter in life Thankfully God helps us endure and we remember He tells us that it is not Him who afflicts us or causes us to grieve and also that His chastising is not grievous to those He knows as His own, it is mostly done by The Body of Christ in Love and for Love, as they Warn and Correct us or yes if we don’t listen and we continue to Sin we reap the Evil we sow which is God’s Discipline put in place at Creation and for sure it is not pleasant but when we come to our Senses and Repent Wow what a Welcome Home, as was the the Prodigal Son’s.

In reference to what you shared about Abraham, yes it was needed for Ishmael and Hagar to move on, there was no Peace in his Abraham’s home because of his adultery with Hagar but God fulfilled His Promise and from Ishmael there came a Nation, yes all things work together for good when we Love God and are called by Him. Some wrongly claim that God does evil to bring good out of it even though the Scriptures tell us it’s Slander to even say this about Believers and that those who do this will be held accountable.

I will be seeking to Visit you again after my foot Operation on Thursday or if possible before.

      • Wow! Thanks for your reply! I’ve had four toes fixed; big & little toe bunions. Left foot 8 years ago, right foot just over a year ago. This time I was on the crutches a week less because of the CAM boot; what a blessing, although the CAM boot wasn’t the most comfortable thing to wear! I ended up putting extra insoles in my “good” foot boot to get my hips aligned with the Cam boot’s height; hope this advice helps!

        • Thank you for your Advice, I do have Bunions but I have been warned by a Specialist that because I have no Circulation in my feet, they mostly feel like Pins and Needles and with shooting Nerve pain at times, if an infection set in during or after the Operation they would not respond to Medication and so to stop the Infection from spreading throughout my Body they would have to cut my feet off.

I declined having the Surgery and so I still suffer from the pain of both Bunions and Nerve pain but God provided a Balm in an Amazing way through a Christian Friend that helps to relieve the Pain when administered with Prayer and He has also used it to heal me Miraculously of two very Painful and Life limiting Conditions.

I have also worn a Boot for eight weeks when I broke my Ankle, Yes for sure Big Foot exists – Lol

I will be Visiting you sometime Today or tonight Aussie time – Thanks again for Visiting and Sharing on Freedomborn you are a Blessing.

  3. It is so very True that No one knows or understands us like our Abba Father does and we never need to have any doubts about His Constant Love that always seeks for our good and does not deliberately afflict us or cause us to suffer. He Loves and Cherishes us much more than any Loving Parents do their Children. Our Abba Father always remains constant, He is Love and can be no other way.

    Blessings – Grannie Annie.

    • That’s OK Debbie I’m behind again in my Blogging too, it took me over a week to find the time to Post this Message. The reason this time was because of Angie a friend with big problems both emotional and Life threatening, in the end I had to call the Police to get protection for her but she has gone home now so Hopefully in the near future I will be able to catch up and visit you and my other close Blogging friends

But yes I’m very Blessed to have Loving and Kind Blogging friends (which you are too Debbie) who gave me some really good advice about Trust in friendships which I have been Praying about too.

Christian Love Debbie and God’s Blessings,

  5. Anne, this post is packed with truth and wisdom. It’s hard to know just where to begin in highlighting my favorite gems. But I guess I’ll simply quote one of my favorite passages from your post. This really resonated with me and these spiritual truths bring so much encouragement and comfort: “We reap what we sow, others hurt us and living in a fallen world presents Hardships too as does Satan when he puts us to the Test through his Trials and Temptations and by motivating those in his control to afflict us as he did with Jesus, Abraham, Job, Peter, Paul and all God’s Redeemed Children but our Souls are protected and Satan can only go so far before God says Stop! and through it all He gives us the Strength to Endure and keeps us Close to His heart so that in all things we can Rejoice and even when afflicted for the good we do, we give Thanks, not for the suffering but for the rewards it brings.” Thank you for taking the time to tackle such weighty issues and with such grace. God bless you big time, dear Anne! ❤ and hugs!!

I remember one of your Messages as confirmed by The Lord, gave me Hope to Trust no matter what I encountered serving Him. I also very much appreciate the History that you share of events in Scripture.
