Most of you who follow my Blog know that I have recently moved into a new Home and although it’s been hard work there has also been times of enjoyment but today I want to share something that happened recently as an answer to Prayer.
Most Children call me Grannie Annie and it’s also a Pen name that I use on my Blog. I have run Funday Schools for over 10 years mostly for Children who come from broken and Dysfunctional homes. I share with them often that they are Loved greatly by Jesus and that they can always talk to Him, that He understands and cares and will help them just like He does with me.
We start with Afternoon tea than I share with them Bible Stories, we than Sing and Dance with all the actions and after Music time they color in Bible Pictures or we do Craft, they can earn points and choose gifts when they reach their goals and we also play games like Charades or just sit and talk about their School or Home life and what makes them Happy or Sad.
It is very hard saying goodbye when they move, which is often as they live in mostly Rental and Housing Commission homes. I have visited them all a few times since I moved but I miss them greatly and so I asked God to help me meet other Children as He has done before and now I’m going to share with you how He did this.
After praying, the very next day a little female Kitten wandered into my yard, she was about 2-3 mths old and very affectionate so I called her Cuddles. Mo- Joe didn’t seem to mind having another furry friend around even if she didn’t know how to bark but Mickey Moo was not impressed at all and yes let me know he wasn’t , so Thankfully I was able to find a new loving home for Cuddles but before I did I went around the Neighborhood and asked if anyone had lost a Kitten and while doing this I met a Mother and her three Children, two girls 11 and 8 and a 9 year old boy and yes they are now coming to my New Funday School.
A few days ago the Children were very upset, they told me that their Cat Garfield was lost and they had not seen him for 3 days so I prayed with them that he would be safe and find his way home again and the next Morning he was on their doorstep although hungry he was not hurt in anyway.
Can we ever doubt that God is Love and that He is very Compassionate and Cares for us greatly and not just sometimes but all the time.

Thank you for your Loving Encouragement Tricia, although I have run Funday Schools for approx 10 years and have been very blessed there has been ups and downs along the way and the Mother of the Children I shared about above is taking Ice and abused
me physically so I don’t see these Children anymore but they now know that Jesus Loves them and is always there for them when needed, good seeds have been planted.
Yesterday after Praying again, I met another Mum and her Children, a young 5 year old boy and his Sister who is 8, they both want to come to Funday School now. They go to Church with their Mum who is a passionate Christian and Loves The Lord deeply but she has been going through a very hard time for quiet awhile, so perhaps I can encourage her too, we need each other through the ups and downs life brings.
I would very much value your Prayers Tricia for both Moms and their Children, God never gave up on me and I know He won’t give up on anyone whom He knows as His own, regardless of the wrong they do before they come to True Heart Repentance.

Jonathan I hope you don’t mind my asking but I would love to know how you found The Lord, were you an Atheist like me after having been deceived I came from an Ape and God was made up or were you sitting on the fence and just not sure?

Well…I was a preacher’s kid Who grew to understand that I couldn’t just grow into being a follower of Christ, but needed to make a conscious decision….especially after a Lay-witness Mission came to our church (United Methodist) I was about age 15, although I remember singing to God at about age 9. Have had a lot of different experiences in the Lord since then…many of which have shown up in my poetry from time to time. 🙂 This is the really QUICK

God gives us new starts in new places… not to replace what we miss, but rather to complete our joy! As a side note: I remember my son praying for ladybugs in his night time prayers! God cares about all His creatures from His smallest creation to His favorite, us!!!

Very True Debbie, God does care about all His Creation and we being made in His image come first, yes we are indeed His favorites. He provided food for us by using His Animal Creation both Land and Water, we should never take anything for granted but always give Thanks for all His Provision and yes for the Variety too.
I was eating a Mango this afternoon and it reminded me of just how many different fruit there are and this is the same for God’s other Creations including us, He is Awesome with a Capital “A”

God uses all of His creation – what a lovely lesson to learn of God’s love and mercy for grieving children over their cat. God bless your ministry in reaching out to the children in your neighborhood – you have a very special gift!

Thank you Dimple for your kind and uplifting encouragement, I Thank God for His Faithfulness to Answer our Prayers and yes it did impact the Children for good, they wanted to Pray when the Video wasn’t working yesterday, these Children have never prayed before..God is so Good!

God can and does use His Creation for good to reach out to us showing He Loves and Cares and that He is with us through our good and bad times. His Creation does indeed show His Reality.
