I wanted to share with you again the dangers of The Occult, so many including some Christians are blind to the danger it presents, it’s Satan’s Playground and leads to mind Control and eventually Heartache and Despair.

As a very young Teenager I use to watch Bewitched and in my immaturity I thought how good it would be to do spells like Samantha the star of the show and be a white Witch like her and help others.
Well the seeds were planted and later I became involved in the Occult, not knowing it’s danger but I never joined a Coven where they learn Satan’s deeper secrets and worship him and do evil to please him but what I was learning and sharing was still a very dangerous focus and could have led to this, I thank God although wounded, I was not destroyed.

The Occult presents as an answer but ends in bondage, a tool of Satan’s to deceive and control, heart repentance which also means turning away from all evil and seeking to do good gives us freedom in Christ Jesus yet many follow their daily Stars and some go to Fortune Tellers too but only God knows our future so they are listening to Satan’s lies.

This was a highly instructive post, Anne. Thank you for the information and for sharing your story. As you say, there are alot of features of the Occult our culture uses without realizing their full impact. I cringe at the TV ads for psychic readings by phone.
Part of what draws people to the Occult is the feeling of power rather than powerlessness, importance rather than insignificance, and — dare I say — nurture rather than condemnation. All these are false and misleading deceptions. However, the hurt and lonely may be understandably attracted.
Too often, non-believers associate Christianity with punishment and self-righteousness. The priest who molests a child or parent who professes Christianity then beats family members to a pulp is not likely to inspire faith in Christ. Christians did such a poor job of explaining their opposition to the Harry Potter novels — which made the Occult seem exciting to young readers — that few were dissuaded from purchasing them.
It is important that mature Christians like yourself speak out.

Thank you for your encouragement Anna and yes the Occult has quiet a few masks that deceive people into believing they will gain but in the end they loose the Security they did have as people of worth and feel defeated and fearful.

I too grew up watching Bewitched, just goes to show how sneaky the devil is using something which appears harmless entertainment fun, to recruit the innocent into eventual worship of himself

It’s good to be sharing again Graham, I missed everyone, I’m still seeking to catch up with past Posts but it’s one day at a time.
What you shared Graham is True many are not aware of the danger the Occult presents until they are trapped in it and yes it did seem harmless to me at first but than the Nightmare began and continued until I was delivered.
