God tells us to test the spirit of those who seek to teach us, so I’m going to focus now and over the next few weeks on how Not to be deceived by foolish Atheists, cunning False Teachers such as Wolves in the Church, deceived Cult Members, Pagans, Occult and New Age Devotees and confused, deceived and Childish Christians and how to recognize their deception and I would greatly value any advice you would like to share too, perhaps you have had experiences that will help others to be warned but the most important thing we need to remember is we are not alone, The Battle is The Lord’s, He knows our enemy and He always defeats him.
Isaiah 50:7-9 For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed He is near that justified me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me. Behold, the Lord God will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up..(KJV)
The Truth is there are those who want to rubbish us and what we believe as Christians and yes some even call themselves Believers but as proven to be True, actions speak louder than words and they show that their beliefs are invalid, they have a form of godliness but deny the Power.
Those who have had contact with False Teachers, Atheists, Pagans, Occult and New Age Devotees, Cult members, will know it is not a pleasant experience, Satan comes as an Angel of Light and his deception is very dangerous, he is the father of lies.
I get righteously angry when Atheists mock and slander God, He is our Loving Abba Father and I Love Him greatly, so yes just like Jesus I feel like getting the whip out. Cult members grieve me too the way they twist God’s inspired words or add and take away from them, trusting in man and not Him.
With False Teachers after testing their Spirit, I reject their lies, holding firmly onto God’s warning to never take to heart what they share, their teaching is not welcomed, it’s Heresy.
Wolves in the Church can cause havoc too but are recognizable when we know how they seek to deceive.
Matthew 7 :15-21 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven…(KJV)
1 John 4:4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false Prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of Antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.(KJV)
Confused, deceived and Childish Christians who walk in the flesh not The Spirit can also be very troublesome but this is not in reference to new Christians who are babes in Christ.
Carnal Christians can cause problems,not just because of the error they pass on but also by their behavior which is much the same as the Atheists, Pagans and Cult Members, who blatantly seek to deceive and propagate their error, not just on their own Blogs and websites but also on others who Blog for Jesus like us or those who have Christian websites.
1 Corinthians 3:1-3 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto Spiritual, but as unto Carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet Carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not Carnal, and walk as men?(KJV)
I have never endorsed just rejecting those who are in opposition to what I believe, I seek to resolve differences having been an Atheist in my thinking but not in my heart for nearly 30 years and also a deceived and Childish Christian, until I repented and asked for and received God’s wisdom and empowering. I value everyone as people of worth needing Salvation, I do not know their hearts, they may like I did come to their senses and repent this is the same as Atheists and Cults members.
But please ignore their propaganda on our Blog, yes please pray for them too, they are going to Hell unless they have heart repentance and this Truth breaks God’s heart, He knows those who are His but it’s not His will anyone perishes, which means to be Eternally separated from Him in torment and Love always Hopes and God always Hopes because He is Love but the reality is they will choose their own Eternal Destiny.
It is always their choice to reject or accept God’s Truth that I share from the Scriptures but sadly over the years I have found that they are so heavily indoctrinated with their false teaching and deception, even some who claim to no longer belong to Cults, that they don’t even read what is shared and confirmed in Scripture but Trust in what they have been Taught in error and this includes their Pastors and Theologians but because God did not give up on me I continue to pray that the good seeds planted will bear Eternal fruit.
But God in His wisdom tells us not to caste our pearls before swine, if they reject His Truth and continue in their mindless repetition of unproven facts and links that propagate the same deception, I wipe the dust off my shoes, meaning their lies and move on and with Blogging this means their Blocked.
When I was ministering to Atheists and Cult members over the years, God led me to two Scriptures in Proverbs that I did not understand at first, I thought to myself… are these Scriptures contradicting each other but knowing this is impossible as there are no contradictions in Scripture just lack of Godly wisdom through the empowering of The Holy Spirit, I asked God to help me to understand His Truth in them.
Proverbs 26:4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.
Proverbs 26:5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
I will be sharing with you again next week about these Scriptures and the importance of recognizing False Teachers, or Wolves – Pagans, Occult and New Age Devotees, Cult members and confused, deceived and Childish Christians and also how to resolve differences with other Christians in the Church before it leads to division and this is something God tells us we need to do, we are not to argue or agree to disagree, we are to resolve our differences, He is a God of Unity not Division.

I can also relate, my sister not really atheist since she believes in a “god” a created like Mother Earth…. Anyway she believes in the false prophets and they need to be exposed. God has given you a gift to teach us and to point others to the His Truth. Like you said, it is up to them to accept it. In these end times false prophets will rise But men and women will prophecy and the Truth will be heard all over the world. you are God’s instrument to spread His Truth all over the world. Thank you for your encouragement and yes I agree with you, many are deceived, I will be Posting again next week on False Teaching including the Occult and New Age. I know Christians who are ignorant that they are using tools that witches and Pagans use, but than there are those who are extreme in their warnings and bring fear, I want to show a Balance but yes as you said we are in the end times and deception will increase but all God’s Redeemed Children will escape as He assures us and so we don’t need to fear, Jesus always wins.

When I first started blogging I became ‘engaged’ in conversation… well it wasn’t really conversation …more like a battle zone with an atheist.. actually two different ones. At first I thought perhaps they were searching for the truth about God, and tried to help… but very shortly it became evident that I was being used as a person to badger with their atheistic beliefs and they became belligerent and hostile.. I knew that these were cases of ‘shaking the dust off my feet’… When my spirit became ‘vexed if you will’, I knew!
On the opposite spectrum, there is a blogger who is a professed atheist and after a couple of times speaking about our individual beliefs and the reasons… we agreed to disagree and we are blogging friends. Of course I pray for her that God would open her eyes and spirit to the truth and she does not object when on occasion I have told her that I would pray for her….Diane

Thank you so much Diane for sharing those experiences and yes I agree some are like I was a head Atheist because of being deceived as a young Teenager but God knew my heart, than there are those whose hearts are very hardened and they are blinded by their foolishness even though God is all around them, they still choose to remain fools.
I have been commenting on a Blog where there are Atheists coming and going and a few who are constant but I don’t feel at Peace in my Spirit, their abuse to the owner of the Blog upsets me but more so how they mock God, it hurts but to be honest I find most Atheists responses to what we share in comments shows they don’t read them anyway, so it is a waste of time, unless they seek us for answers and respond to what we share not just keep propagating their own rubbish we do what you said, we walk away by Blocking them.

I have met some of these “wolves dressed in sheep skin” type of people in person who pretend they are kind, pure and pious, even going to church acting very religious but whose words and actions bring destruction and pain to those around them. I met a few, considered them as good trusted friends but only to find out, their hearts are tainted with deceit, envy, jealousy, cruel dark intentions. They delight in other’s misery, failures and suffering, bringing them down when they are their most vulnerable. They are opposite to what they hope others will see them and their actions so far away from God’s ways and teachings. Thank you for reminding us today to be vigilant. Many times we all need to be reminded that their is so much lies and evil lurking among us, mask in every disguise pleasing to the eyes of the material world. Yes all Pagans Jalal are propagating error, they worship their gods and so are committing spiritual Adultery. The Carnal flesh is evil this is why we must put it to death, as we choose to walk in the Fruit of The Spirit, He empowers us so we can. Love and evil cannot co- exist, evil is the absence of Love and yes we hate the evil others do and say but we must not hate anyone or we also will walk in evil which will than lead to us being deceived like they are.

We are told Jalal to Love our enemies and do good to them, God does this or He would not tell us to and He sent Jesus Christ to save the world because of His great Love and that includes Pagans not just us but yes He hates the evil they do and say and their spiritual Adultery grieves Him greatly and we are to hate all evil too.
If anyone rejects God’s Truth we are to walk away and wipe the dust from our shoes meaning their lies but we are not to persecute or hate them like they do us, they like us are all people of worth or Jesus Christ would not of died for them too.

Very True Bob but when sharing with Atheists they seek to discredit the Scriptures and so ignore them but as we know they prove themselves so we can share them having confidence of their reality, they are indeed inspired by God.
But it is not just Atheists who continue to reject God’s Truth even when shown they are in error, we have Cults who are blind and deaf Spiritually too and also there are Childish and deceived Christians who do so too but there is hope for them after repentance for their choosing to walk in sin but until they do it means they are often disrespectful even taking the Lord’s name in vain, we are not to use it as an Explanation but when they repent they can mature and grow in knowledge and understanding with God’s wisdom and empowering having asked for them, but until than they can be very rude the same as wolves who disguise themselves as sheep but their purpose is to undermine both God and us, provoke us to anger and to cause hurt and frustration, we ignore them.

Well it seems Ark you don’t know who is the real Author of the Scriptures but in reference to Translation mistakes, Jesus shows these to me anyway so they don’t concern me but it would be helpful Ark if you stopped believing everything you read on the Internet, it has much error, some was invented by Atheists and Cults and even by those involved with the Occult and New-age and by Pagans too, so it has been proven to be full of deception, they even contradict themselves, not just each other.
Below is a Scripture that will show you were my Focus is Ark but you can be sure it’s not on the Internet. As for knowing the Scriptures, why would I not know them, I have asked God for His wisdom and empowering and He gave them to me and Jesus is leading me into all Truth and I never doubt what He tells me because He does not lie.

There is so much truth to what you have said here. My daughter in law is an atheist. It grieves me more than I can express that she is raising my grandchildren to look at all religions and decide for themselves what is truth. Can you imagine how confused and floundering they are. I pray daily that God will draw them to himself. I also know they know we are Christians and that they can come to us if ever they have no where else to turn. Yes I can understand your anxiety Debbie, my Mum was an Atheist and it was her and a Teacher that caused me to loose my faith in Jesus as my Best Friend when I was a young Teenager but Jesus won in the end. Truth always defeats a lie and God knows us as His before we are conceived, He knew we would come to heart repentance and accept His free gift of Salvation, so He chose us to be conformed into the image of Jesus, He knows all things and regardless of where we are in our understanding of Him, He is not far from us.
God made sure I heard the Truth later on in life when I was mature enough to see the error in what I had been told and even though later when I fell l into sin but not away and yes I was part of a Church at the time but a Childish Christian, Jesus still rescued me and it was than that I came to True heart repentance and was also Miraculously healed of two life threatening conditions, before this I was trying to earn my Salvation but now I show I have it, big difference!
What we need to pray for Debbie is that your Grandchildren will be able to spend time with you so you can plant the seeds that will bear good fruit. I have been thinking about starting a Children’s Blog for all age Children but not sure how to reach out to them on the Internet or even if it’s possible, I want to make it fun for them but also plant Jesus seeds so they know He Loves them and is there for them in the hard times as well as the good, any advice you may be able to offer Debbie will be greatly appreciated.
