Christian Men are Soldiers of the Cross…..

S - FIRMToday I want to express our  thanks for the Christian Men who stand on the firing lines, willing to risk all to share God’s Truth and to defend it regardless of the personal cost to themselves and sometimes this cost may mean giving up their own plans  or even their lives and we also want to thank them for their faithfulness and heart desire  to help, uplift, encourage, motivate, correct in Love and uphold others in prayer, and for offering Hope Eternal.

Some do this in their role as a Pastor or Elders in a Church, some in Christian Ministries, others on Blogs through their messages or with heart touching Poetry and some even share Gods Truth through jokes and others with Photography, capturing  the beauty of God’s creation, which makes us realize how Loving and Awesome He is and motivates us to give Him  heartfelt Thanks and Praise.

We give Thanks also for Christian Husbands who Love sacrificially and seek to provide and protect their wife’s and Children, who also appreciate their wives as their Helpmates both in their Marriage and with needed Church commitments and are thankful for their, Love, support, companionship and understanding.

And we Thank those Men who are in Authority and in Leadership in the Church as well as in their Marriages and are accountable as our Shepherds under Christ Jesus’ Authority our Eternal Shepherd and so have much responsibility, they need our support, encouragement and prayers, their task is not an easy one and they may feel it goes unnoticed or unappreciated but many do appreciate their faithfulness but if it was only Jesus who noticed, that’s a Multitude.

Christian Soliders 8God has chosen to need Men and Woman, the roles He has given us are very important.  He has placed  Men in  Authority and as Leaders and woman as their Helpmates and  even if sometimes the Battle rages and seems insurmountable we  can  be assured we are not alone, the Battle is The Lords.

Sometimes, we may find ourselves trapped in the worries and hassles of life and the load seems very heavy, Jesus wants to carry it for us, and to also give us strength for each day.

Teach them everythig I have told you

Thank you for all those Men who  Stand up for Jesus, you are indeed Soldiers of the Cross…….

I would like to now encourage you with a well known song, the Tune in the Video is  upbeat but the words are original and are strong and firm.

Stand Up, Stand Up For Jesus

Stand up, stand up for Jesus! ye Soldiers of the cross;
Lift high His royal banner, it must not suffer loss:
From vict’ry unto vict’ry, His army shall He lead,
Till every foe is vanquished, and Christ is Lord indeed.

Stand up, stand up for Jesus! The trumpet call obey:
Forth to the mighty conflict, in this His glorious day;
Ye that are men now serve Him against unnumbered foes;
Let courage rise with danger, and strength to strength oppose.

Stand up, stand up for Jesus! Stand in His strength alone,
The arm of flesh will fail you, ye dare not trust your own;
Put on the gospel armor, and watching unto prayer,
Where calls the voice of duty, be never wanting there.

Stand up, stand up for Jesus! the strife will not be long;
This day the noise of battle, the next the Victor’s song;
To him that overcometh a crown of life shall be;
He with the King of glory shall reign eternally.

                • As I said before Mike I’m looking forward to sharing with you so I won’t panic I promise regardless of how many you share. I will respond as I’m lead by The Lord with each one and mostly with the confirmation of Scripture but if you want more Scripture please just ask.

                  Nothing gives me more Joy than sharing God’s Truth, it’s the only way we can have True Freedom, so please be assured Mike that it won’t be a chore but a pleasure, how long it will take, I don’t know as I have other commitments and responsibilities, as I’m sure you have too but I will try to read and respond to some each day and yes I’m looking forward to doing so.

                  Blessings dear Brother in Christ Jesus – Anne.

    Very Nicely done Anne, very. I recall Jude telling us to CONTEND for the Faith. Contend is not a passive word at all, is it? Well done Sister.

    • Thanks Wally I’m pleased you were blessed by the message and very True as you shared, to contend is not Passive , The Holy Spirit is not mute!

      I hope you don’t mind me asking Wally but why did you visit Ark’s Blog, it can only present evil as we can see in the Scripture below, what did you Hope to gain?.

        • We don’t have to defend ourselves Wally, we defend Jesus and He defends us, perhaps that is what you meant but we do show we are Redeemed.

          I was wondering Wally why you don’t click the like on peoples Blogs when you comment positively and why do you click it on yours and comment too, I really have enough notifications from WordPress without more of them, yes responding to comments is important and thank you for always doing this but another like is not needed OK you may have a good reason, Men normally do, they think logically woman often respond emotionally both are needed, but someone has to make the final decision and men are better equipped in Christ Jesus.

            You know Anne…even with a non believer, there are things in which we can find common ground….just not the things of God. And..as far as the state of their hearts? That’s not our place to decide. We are mandated to treat each person as if they are reachable. We plant the seed, God gathers the harvest.

            • I agree Wally we are not to judge anyone’s Eternal destiny but God tells us not to welcome False Teachers but yes we first have to test their spirit to know if they are.

              1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.KJV

              2 John 1:7-11 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an Antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.KJV

              As for Atheists we have nothing in common with them Spiritually, if they reject God’s Truth after we have shared with them than God tells us to walk away dusting their lies off our shoes, meaning our minds, they are fools and what they do is for self gain not for others…. we need to remember it is God that tells us they do not do any good as we can see below!

              The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. – Psalm 14:1(KJV)

  8. Thanks for this, Anne! To be a church leader is a heavy responsibility and not everyone is up for the task. Most of the qualifications for leadership involve character, not knowledge or skill. While it is important to have leaders who can effectively preach God’s Word, it is even more important to have those who can live out God’s Word and be examples for others to follow. A good illustration of what is involved in leading people can be seen in Jesus’ description of the Good Shepherd in John 10. The role could be summarized under the two basic activities of knowing people and loving them. Great song too! God bless!

    • Thank you Pastor Joe, I have no hesitation in saying that you very much fit the bill, you are indeed seeking to be a Solider of the Cross and in this I have great respect for, your knowledge of God’s Truth as you seek Him not man will show in your responses to others and I have witnessed your willingness to seek Him since I started following you.

      Having been hurt by Pastors not having God’s Truth and Trusting in their own fleshy understanding instead which means their full of fleshy pride and so judge others critically without Love, I do believe that having His wisdom empowered by The Holy Spirit, is very important to be able to Love like He does and I believe this is what we all need to do with all our heart…. Thank you Pastor Joe.

      Christian Love from both of us – Anne.

  9. A wonderful, beautiful tribute to all the soldiers of faith. Everyday, men and women brave the front lines living, giving and speaking God’s works and words on Earth. They serve as a light and an inspiration for us all. Thank you for sharing these and thank you for being one of these soldiers. Thanks to Ron as well for being a great soldier of Jesus. God bless you both always.

    • Thank you dear friend and I commend you for being willing to reach our as you do with words of encouragement and Christian Love, they are very powerful weapons to defeat Satan, he hates us using them, it means he is very weak and Wow when we share God’s Truth too, he is left without any ammunition to deceive.

      My role and gifting is very different from yours Island Traveler and Ron’s but together we all make a great line of defense. Keep Aiming High Solider!

    Its good Anne that we all have roles to fulfill in the army of God, men have been given the responsibility to lead and direct, to support and encourage . We as men and women are called to serve and each of us have to do what we are equipped and gifted to do, all equally important , thanks for the opportunity to appreciate one another .

    Blessings

    • Yes Love as you know our Pastors in the past helped us recognize our gifting and God confirmed it and this is the same for everyone but our roles are God given in Creation, woman are not to be in Authority over men or Teach in that position, which sadly we see today.

      We are all called to share God’s Truth and with my being an Anointed Evangelist I do so with Joy and I know you give all willingly in your responsibilities in the Church and always have but some woman have stepped out of their role which is what Eve did and Adam was punished for listening to her and not obeying God.

      This is not saying a woman can’t give advice or suggestions, they are Helpmates in all ways not just with cooking and having babies. Woman can also share God’s Truth within her role, they did in the early Church, they even corrected error but not in Authority such as an ordained Minister but regardless of our roles we still Trust in God for our direction and guidance first not a man or woman, what they share with us must be confirmed with Him.

      I very much agree with what you said Ron, we are to serve each other which is what Jesus taught us to do, and that is very important because it reflects what He did, yes we are to put each other first but I’m not sure about washing your feet Lol!

      We give thanks to both Men and Woman who Love, obey and serve the Lord wholeheartedly within their roles and who sacrificially Love others too, even those who hurt them, Jesus did.

      Christian Love Always dear – Anne.
