“Share with the Children that the pure green colour of the stately Fir tree called a Christmas Tree today, remains green all year round, depicting the everlasting Hope of mankind found in the Lord, all the needles point Heavenward, making it a symbol of man’s thoughts turning towards Heaven.”
“Share with the Children that the Star was the Heavenly sign of promises long ago. God promised a Saviour for the World, and the Star was the sign of the fulfillment of His promise.”
“Share with the Children that the candle symbolizes that Jesus Christ is the Light of the world, and when we see His great Light we are reminded that it is He who takes the darkness away.”The Wreath
“Share with the Children about the True St. Nicholas, who they know as (Santa Claus) was not just a fairy Story and even though for some Christmas giving is all about making money, but for us it symbolizes the generosity and good will we need to feel not only during the month of December but all year because we know that it is in giving that we receive.”Holly Leaf
“Share with the Children that the holly plant represents the immortality that we find in Jesus Christ and represents the crown of thorns worn by our Saviour.
The red holly represents the blood shed by Him for our sins.”
“Share with the Children that the Wise men followed the Star and we need to do that too by following Jesus, and that when they saw Jesus the Holy Babe they bowed before Him and presented Him with Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh.
Share with the Children the the Poinsettia that flowers in winter at Christmas time is known as the Birth flower, Christmas flower, Christmas Star and the flame leaf flower and in some Countries is also called the Easter flower. The shape of the Poinsettia flower and leaves are also for us a symbol of the Star of Bethlehem which led the Wise men to Jesus. The red colored leaves symbolize the blood of Christ, and the white leaves represent His purity.
The Body of Christ His real Church is made up of many but we do not stand alone we Unite in God’s Love to be whole.
Christmas Lights
Turned upside down it is the letter J which stands for Jesus the Great Shepherd.
“Share with the Children that when we ask Jesus to come into our hearts He fills us with His eternal food and His life-giving water, and together with all our Brothers and Sisters in the family of God we rejoice and give thanks as we Love and care for each other.”
“Share with the Children that it was the Angels that Heralded in the glorious news of the Saviour’s birth… And as they sang ‘Glory to God in the highest, on earth Peace and Good will toward men a great light brightened the night and so today Jesus is our Light in the darkness.”The Bells
“Share with the Children that as the lost sheep are found by the sound of the bell, The Lord Jesus rings out a message of Hope as He brings us into the fold under His Love and protection. The bell symbolizes guidance and return.”
in Christ Jesus.

Hi limbiley, good to see you and you will see me today some time too, only yesterday I saw you on someones Blog and thought I would like to see what you have shared and Wow here you are.
Yes we are to Teach the little ones but also the big ones too, God’s Truth has been watered down and twisted, so sadly many today are confused. Some Christians in Ministry, don’t even celebrate Christmas Day, yet the Scriptures confirm and show clearly it as when Jesus was Born. They have believed Cult Teaching, without realizing where it came from.
Well I shall see you limbiley, sometime on the 16th or for you the 15th.

Thank you Love, I’m pleased you were blessed too, as you know I received some of the Symbols by e-mail and some were on the Internet and the rest the Lord gave me.
What is wonderful is as you said they all glorify Jesus, which is what Christmas is for, and to remember too, He not only came as a baby but He is also our Saviour

Yes sadly Carl as we know some have twisted the Christmas Symbols that talk about Jesus, Father God’s greatest gift to us and some wrongly think they are based on Paganism and are Secular, those in darkness will think so and for some Christmas is all about making money and not sharing God’s Love.
For sure Carl, some Christians are so deceived they don’t even celebrate Christmas Day but as we know they are in error, the Scriptures clearly confirm this time as Jesus’ birth, the same as all the symbols, a lot are in the Scriptures and the rest are also God’s creation and all He made is very good even if man pollutes it but thankfully God knows our heart and yes we are to become like Children in our dependance and Trust towards Him so we can see His reality in all that is good.
Christmas Blessings Carl from both of us and don’t forget to ring the bells -Anne

Hi Barb, I’m so pleased you enjoyed reading it again, the Plum pudding is like all Christmas food, see above, it’s a special remembrance that Jesus fills us with His eternal food and life giving water, in Him we are fat and never thirst. Have you noticed that a lot of Christmas food has fruit in it.
Psalm 92:13-15 Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the Lord is upright: He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
Proverbs 13: 4-5 . The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
