I had a very Special and Amazing Reassurance from God that He is with me during this Storm in my Life.
A very dear friend of mine asked the Ladies at her Church to make a Prayer Quilt for me, they are part of the Prayer Quilt Ministry that originally started in California in 1992 but is now World wide and in many Church Denominations.
The Ladies Lovingly make Prayer Quilts for those in need of Prayer Support, they may have Cancer or like me they are facing Surgery or they have difficult Family situations or other serious Life Problems but also for those seeking Strength or Patience etc in their Christian walk.
When the Quilt is finished it is tied with Prayer knots by the Ladies and those in Church Leadership as they Pray for those in need.
What was amazing was the design on my Prayer Quilt was very different from all the Pattens on other Prayer Quilts. My friend thought I would be disappointed because it was not as colorful as the others that she had seen but I like all shades from bright to light pastel colors which my Prayer Quilt is as shown below. I do believe now that the Patten on the Prayer Quilt is a Personal Message from God to me. I have often said when having Problems to face in my Life that I’m going through a Storm.
What do we need in a Storm? yes an Umbrella to protect us from the force of the Rain just as God Protects us during our Life Storms and also Provides what’s needed so we can endure.
On my Prayer Quilt as shown below there were Beautiful small embroided Umbrellas in different Colors and Patterns and Birds too, they also have great significance for me of God’s Presence and His Protection
Recently during a very difficult Surgical Procedure that was needed to confirm my Heart problem, God Lovingly reassured me through Birds that He was with me, the link below to one of my recent Posts explains how this happened.

Yes Graham it was very much another Blessing from God through the Heart of a dear friend and without doubt my Abba Father is indeed my Umbrella in this very Violent Storm I’m going through as He has been for you too over the years as you cared for your wife, He is Love and He Loves us greatly.
There is a Song Graham that profoundly touched my Heart again yesterday, I will Post it for you above.

Very True Barb only God can Heal us, Satan can do no good including Healing, which some in error claim he can even though Scripture tells us all good things come from God and yes He motivates us to do good although it is still our choice but when we choose to do His Good will, He than Empowers and Equips us so we can…. How Good is that!

Prayer quilts are very comforting..
I have also heard of miracle healing as well.. The quilt can not heal, it was Jesus and the power of prayer that wen’t into the making..

Yes I agree Diane, the Prayer Quilts are indeed a Loving Gift from our Abba Father, I’m overwhelmed with how personal mine is, it’s just how He has been speaking to me during this Storm in my Life, I will add a Picture of it above hopefully today.

It’s really comforting to have this reassurance from God, that’s what we all need, especially in times of adversity. It’s such a reassurance we need given that our faith is tied to it.

It is indeed comforting to have God’s reassurance Prosper Anang in the good and not so good times and yes right now it’s very Stormy for me but Thankfully I have His Protection.
I’m sorry I haven’t visited you for awhile Prosper Anang but my Blogging has been very limited and not just because of my Health although my Heart condition does cause excess tiredness but it’s also because of the Problems with WordPress settings which they have not yet fixed. Apart from not being able to show a Like Image on Posts some of my Comments have disappeared too but Hopefully they will correct what the Problem is before I have the Heart surgery so I can catch up on yours and other Blogging friends Posts that I have saved.
