Our Heavenly Father’s Awesome Love

I found a Poem recently that really touched my Heart, I felt it was about my life and how God understood and cared even when I didn’t know Him, I will share it with you below.

I have always loved Poetry but I could never write it except for a few attempts, one was when I was 14, it was cryptic which I realized much later in life, it was about a Mermaid who had lost her Merman Love and in my Heart that was Jesus, I was told He was just made up like the Bible and that I came from an Ape and so I became an Atheist in my thinking for about 30 years until I was shown God’s reality in His Creation . Another Poem I wrote was when I was caring for Children, I made it into a Song using a Christian tune without even realizing it and the other two Poems I wrote in my early Twenties, they were short and very sad but Jesus gave me years later wonderful endings for them.

To write Poetry is very hard for most people who are  Dyslectic, we can’t rhyme or write fluently, some do improve with help but I have always had problems until I started Blogging, now when writing Posts and Comments they just flow and the Scripture comes to me too, although I’m still a cracked vessel with spelling and punctuation etc there is help today with Firefox and other programs  but Thankfully God’s The Superglue and amazingly  in 2006 I started writing Poetry and couldn’t stop, to save detail here I will leave a link for you, it was incredible and so was God’s Ink which was very much a Miracle, confirming His anointing of my Poetry.

The Poem below that I want to share with you was written by Shirley Winter, it’s called “The Father’s Love ” I’m Thankful to Shirley for the confirmation she gave in her Poem  about our Abba Father’s Awesome Love and Compassion for us. Can we understand how wonderful it is, perhaps not but we can know He Loves us greatly and just as we are even though He still wants us to Mature and be conformed into the image of Jesus and to be Perfected in His Love because than we will be Complete and One with Him in Spirit.

 

       The Father’s Love.

 The girl was filled with sorrow as she knelt before The Lord,

And poured out her heart before The Heavenly Father she Adored.

She spoke about her Childhood and the Love she’d never found,

And relived the painful memories before The Lord on Holy Ground.

 

The Lord was filled with Compassion as she knelt before her King,

And He said; Come take refuge in the shadow of my Wings.

Here you will find comfort and those memories I will mend,

I Am The Alpha, The Omega, The Beginning and The End.

 

He said; My Child I Loved you long before you were Born and

I will always be here for you through each raging Storm,

I promise I will never leave you, no matter what you do,

Put your Trust and Hope in Me and I will see you through.

 

When life’s problems seem too much My Child,

And you don’t know what to do,

Put your weight on my shoulders and I will carry you through.

Remember there is no Prayer that I do not heed,

My Beloved Child don’t you know that I’m all you need.

1 John 4:10-12 Herein is Love not that we Loved God but that He Loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our Sins. Beloved if God so Loved us we ought also to Love One another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we Love One another God dwelleth in us and His Love is Perfected in us.
