Day Five…

Friendship in The Lord is something we were Created for, we need His Love the same as we need Air to breath, without it we will not be Complete or will we live Eternally, this is why my Fifth Quote inspires me, we need The Lord, and He chooses to need us.

  1. Debbie M. says:

I remember the first time I heard that God “doesn’t need us.” It can be unsettling until we realize that it is so much more special that “He wants us!” That longing for God reminds me of, Psalm 42:1 – “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.”

  3. Friends are not perfect, just as we are not perfect. But if we all walk in love, we can always get along with our friends.

    • Yes so True Victor, we can never be Perfect in a Worldly way but we are to Aim to be Perfected in Love, I’ll share some of the Scriptures below that the Lord gave me when I asked Him for His Wisdom through the empowering of The Holy Spirit, it’s His Truth but I was never taught about it and some of His other important Truths in all the years I went to Church or even now.

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore Perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is Perfect.

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto Perfection not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

2 Corinthians 7: 1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, Perfecting Holiness in the fear of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for Doctrine, for Reproof, for Correction, for Instruction in Righteousness: That the Man of God may be Perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell be Perfect be of good comfort, be of one Mind, live in Peace and the God of Love and Peace shall be with you.

Sorry Victor for taking so long to respond to your Comment I have been packing all day, I still have a few weeks before the move but there is a lot to sort through and pack.

  5. Great thought. One thing we should be all grateful for is the fact that in as much as we need God’s love to enhance our friendship with others -what we’re created for- that love isn’t in heaven or somewhere far away from us, but has been poured into our born again spirits by the Holy Spirit. This makes God’s love our nature. The implication is that we have all what it takes to build lasting friendships.

    Thanks for this great thought
