The Godhead or Trinity as we call Them today both meaning Three in One, are Abba Father, Jesus The Living Word and The Holy Ghost. The Scriptures I have shared below Fully Confirm The Trinity who are One in Spirit although they have different Roles in The Godhead, The Abba Father always being in final Authority, Jesus is not God The Father but is One with Him in Spirit having been conceived by The Holy Ghost.
1 Corinthians 15:27 -28 For He hath put all things under His feet. But when He saith all things are put under Him, it is manifest that He is excepted which did put all things under Him. And when all things shall be subdued unto Him then shall the Son also Himself be subject unto Him that put all things under Him that God may be all in all.
It is The Holy Spirit that confirms Their reality in our hearts (1Corinthians 2:9-16) which is also confirmed in the Scripture below.
1Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no Man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed and that no man can say that Jesus is The LORD but by the Holy Ghost.
The word Trinity was first used in the 18th Century, the same as Dinosaurs, they were originally called Dragons or Leviathans and are mentioned in the Old Testament . Aids is also mentioned in the New Testament and D.N.A but not by those names. The word Rapture is also relatively new but is called The First Sickle in Revelation and is also referred to by connection in Luke and other Scriptures.
1John 5:7 For there are Three that bear record in Heaven, The Father, The Word and The Holy Ghost and these Three are One.
Yes some Translations do leave the above Scripture out that is referring to The Godhead or Trinity, I use the K.J.V but the way we can be sure it was in the original is if it is also confirmed in other Scriptures ( see below) there are more of course that confirm. 1John 5:7
I have found that Members of J.W, the Mormons and Christadelphians, although they reject The Trinity they still Love Jesus and seek to serve Him but their understanding of Him is in error, the same as with other important Truths, they do not call Jesus LORD of Lords (Revelation19:15-16) They are being deceived by their False Teachers and because of their own Translations that distorts God’s Inspired Words. They cannot mature in Christ Jesus or know His reality when they reject His Truth in Scripture.
So are we to hate those who teach error, No we are to Love even our enemies but just as we would not accept what they say and do that is evil so we do not accept or welcome teaching that deceives and pollutes, rubbish in rubbish out but if we hold onto bitterness and resentment towards anyone or seek revenge, we will suffer ourselves, it eats away all the goodness in us, instead we Pray for them.
As I shared before the Scriptures below fully Confirm The Trinity, take time to read them and if lead to than share them with others so they will also be prepared if asked about the reality of The Trinity or Godhead as they are called in Scripture.
Jesus being conceived by The Holy Ghost had God’s seed not Adams and was in the Spirit fully God the same as The Holy Ghost.
Colossians 2:9 For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Isaiah 9:6-7 For unto us a Child is Born, unto us a Son is given and the Government shall be upon His shoulder and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His Government and Peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and upon His Kingdom to order it and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
John 14:8-11 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered; “Don’t you know me Philip even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say; ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own Authority. Rather it is the Father living in me who is doing His work. Believe me when I say that I am in The Father and The Father is in me or at least believe on the evidence of the Works themselves.
One of Jesus’ Spiritual Names which shows His Divinity is Emmanuel, meaning God with us.
Matthew 1:22-23 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the Prophet, saying, Behold, a Virgin shall be with Child, and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His Name Emmanuel which being interpreted is; God with us.
Jesus is The Living Word another Spiritual Name showing His Divinity.
John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the Light of men. And the Light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Genesis 1:26 – 27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.
Colossians 1:14 -17 In whom we have redemption through His Blood even the forgiveness of Sins. Who is the image of the invisible God the firstborn of every Creature. For by Him were all things Created that are in Heaven and that are in earth visible and invisible whether they be Thrones or Dominions or Principalities or Powers all things were Created by Him and for Him and He is before all things and by Him all things consist.
The Scripture below also shows Jesus Divinity, Jesus never sinned, if He had He could not have been our Sacrificial Lamb to Redeem us. Jesus is good, He is God in Spirit.
Matthew 17a And He said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but One, that is God.
What does it mean to call Jesus the Rock which is another Spiritual Name showing His Divinity …..
Deuteronomy 32:3-5 Because I will publish the Name of the LORD, ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, His work is Perfect for all His ways are judgment a God of Truth and without iniquity just and right is He.
Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my Rock and my Fortress and my Deliverer, my God, my Strength in whom I will Trust, my Buckler and The Horn of my Salvation and my High Tower.(KJV)
Psalm 18:31 For who is God save The LORD? or who is a Rock save our God?(KJV)
Psalm 18:46 The LORD Liveth and Blessed be my Rock and let the God of my Salvation be Exalted.(KJV)
1 Corinthians 10:3-5 And did all eat the same Spiritual meat and did all drink the same Spiritual drink for they drank of that Spiritual Rock that followed them and that Rock was Christ.
Jesus is The Lord of Hosts, another Spiritual Name also showing His Divinity…..
Isaiah 54 :5 For thy Maker is thine Husband The Lord of Hosts is His Name and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel The God of the whole earth shall He be called.
Jesus said as we see confirmed below; I Am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, The Almighty.
Revelation 1:7-8 Behold He cometh with clouds and every eye shall see Him and they also which pierced Him and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so Amen I Am Alpha and Omega The Beginning and The Ending saith the LORD which is and which was and which is to come The Almighty.
Revelation 19:15-16 And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the Nations and He shall rule them with a rod of iron and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. Thank you again David, I appreciate both your words of confirmation as I share God’s Truth in Scripture and as you share them too. I have now Rebloged your Post, I find mostly that not many respond to Reblogs but I’m sure some read them and take them to heart.
I had a friend visit me recently and stay for a short time who had been a J.W for a few years but realized they were teaching error and left them and I know other Cult Members personally and care for them very much too but they still walk in deception. What I find is their frightened of being rejected by God if they reject the Teachings of the Watchtower, although still claiming they can find their own Truth if wanted.
But God knows those who are His from Eternity, He knows everything and I hold onto the assurance that like He did with us David He will rescue all of His own known by His foreknowledge of their Hearts Repentance during their lives, even if on their deathbed, our Hearts Repentance as we know shows we believe in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.

Hi David, it seems we are being Hacked again and yes I do have Problems with this but mostly on Aussie Sundays and Wednesdays but I’m not sure if it is WordPress Staff, Google or Firefox they all have access to our Settings but then so may others that we don’t know about. I was Blogging on with my WordPress Account so it seems that it may be them because they are also not answering my request for Help but they could be being Blocked too but what I’m very sure of is that God will revel who it is and also bring good from it for us because we Love Him and others.

You can be sure David I’m not a yes person or I’m I short and sweet, saying what is wanted even if I don’t agree with what someone has shared, God tells us under His Authority to use Scripture to confirm His Truth and correct error and I do which many have Thanked me for not abused me for doing so.

I’m having problems commenting on your Blog David they are disappearing or are not being accepted, have you Blocked me? because that is what WordPress said before when this happened on Blogs and if you have why have you.
The only People I Block are those who are abusive, slander others or me or when they Mock God or continually reject His Truth in Scripture. God tells us we are to move on when they do this because they are ignorant meaning they are walking in their Carnal Flesh and not The Spirit, this is why His Truth is foolishness to them. (1Cornthians2:9-16)
In reference to your Post David about not sharing John 3:16 with Children, please check your Spam. But to condense here, all of God’s inspired Word’s in Scripture are for our good and Children need to know they are Loved by God and that is why He sent Jesus to set us free, yes when they are older we can give them more detail but to reject God’s Truth for any reason and not share it is very wrong, it’s what the Cults do as well as add to Scripture and delete parts of it too.
The other Scripture mentioned in your Post David and the one in a Woman’s Comment that were claimed to be OK to share with Children, also have a dark side if not Spiritually understood which I explained all about in my Comment that kept disappearing or was Blocked on your Blog.

Hi Anne. No, I have not blocked you (don’t even know how to, nor have I ever blocked anyone.) It seems WordPress has a lot of glitches. For me, the biggest are that people mysteriously stop receiving my emails when I blog, and I stop receiving theirs, just out of the blue. Sometimes it seems as though people have just stopped writing, but it is just that the notices have stopped. A WordPress error. Must be the case with you having trouble responding.

Thank you for responding David, I’m sorry to hear your also having major Blogging Problems but I’m pleased that your not rude to other Bloggers and ignore or Block them for Carnal fleshy reasons, it has indeed happened to me much more than once but you can be sure I never share anything without Scriptural Confirmation or do I accept anything as God’s Truth unless it is confirmed in Scripture.
With my having asked for God’s Wisdom and Empowering I don’t doubt that I share His Truth like others do who just keep asking and not believing they have received His Wisdom, He always keeps His promises.
I do agree with you David that God’s Truth should be shared with Children according to their age when their Adults they will understand fully but for sure John 3:16 is a wonderful Scripture to share with them and it’s seed will bear much good fruit when their older.
I have worked with Children all my life David, as a Live in Carer in an Orphanage, a Pre -School Teacher, a Governess and I was a Aunty to Children in one Parent families for many years, Ron was their Uncle and we looked after them to give their Parents a break.
I have also been a Scripture and R.A Teacher for over 20 years and I have Taught Children of all ages about God in Sunday Schools, Playgroups and in my Fundayschools over many years, so I know what they can understand and what they need to hear to have Faith in our God of Love. All of what you say is true about the word spirit and ghost, but my intention was to reference the seven Spirits of God only found in Revelations. The following is the scripture and my notes on the seven Spirits of God. This does not change the fact that the Holy Bible (AKJV ) teaches about the Trinity.
THE SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD
Authorized King James Version (AKJV)
Revelation 1:4
John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

As I shared with you before Stephen the Original Greek Manuscripts of the New Testament were all in Upper case but if not yes the Spirits that you have noted would still be in Upper case because they are all in reference to God’s Spirit, His being, He is like a Diamond He has many facets and Jesus The Living Word, and The Holy Ghost are One in Spirit with Him although their Roles in The Godhead or Trinity as we call them today are different.

Look at these verses ( NT/KJV) and see if we agree #1 it is the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost that make up the trinity. #2 The heavenly Father (God) gives the Holy Spirit to them that ask. Here is where some people even Christians may be confused, because of the Holy Ghost and the Holy Spirit. The above verse Luke 11-13 is the only place in the NT with the exact words in capital letters of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Ghost is the Comforter even the Spirit of truth, as stated above in your explanation.
When a person accepts Jesus, as the Son of God ( New Birth ) God enters by His Spirit (Luke 11:13) because the pereson ask or prayed for God to save his soul. The Holy Ghost is the Comforter, even the Spirit of Truth ( John 14: 16-17 ). The Holy Spirit and the Holy Ghost ( Spirit of Truth ) are two different Spirits. Thank you for visiting and sharing your thoughts Stephen, I will respond further tonight as I’m having some friends coming for Lunch and need to start to prepare the food but it is known that the original Greek Manuscripts were all written in Upper case and there were no small particles such as, is, it, a, etc which we find Cults using today and other wrong wording to reject the Trinity or Godhead as They are known in Scripture.

Hi Stephen, Thank you for your patience in waiting for my response in reference to your reasoning about God’s Spirit being two separate identities.
We see clearly Stephen as confirmed in Genesis and in other Scriptures that there is only Three in The Trinity or Godhead not four, the Names themselves mean Three in One.
Just as Jesus is called different Names as shown in my Post so is The Spirit of God and both the Names The Holy Ghost and The Holy Spirit are in reference to His Spirit and are One Identity and also Dictionaries confirm the two Names Ghost and Spirit are from one source.

Thanks again Anna for your encouragement but to be honest I just share God’s Truth from Scripture and leave the Teaching to Jesus, He is our only Spiritual Teacher and will lead us into all Truth when we Ask, Seek and Knock. But I love to share His Words, I have amazing inner Joy when I do and they flow freely, although being a cracked vessel with having Dyslexia I do make mistakes with writing backwards, punctuation etc but Thankfully Firefox helps with spelling and God is our Supper Glue and puts it altogether.

Jesus said, my Father and I are one. The concept of the Trinity is a fundamental issue. If anyone doesn’t believe it, the person is making a great mistake.

Very True Victor and it is very much confirmed in Scripture as you can see above, to claim it is not True is to call God a liar, all Scripture is inspired by Him.

For maturity in Christ Jesus we need to know Him as He is not as Worldly Man thinks He is and our assurance comes through God’s inspired Words in Scripture when understood through the empowering of The Holy Spirit with God’s Wisdom not by Worldly or fleshy wisdom.
