Some days just don’t go as planned and yesterday was one of those days, it was a Blah day, it reminds me of the Poem below that I wrote and shared many years ago, it explains how to bring out the Sun, so I tried it again today and it worked.
.
Joy In The Sun
Is this a Blah day, has everything gone wrong, you don’t even feel the joy in a song, the flowers don’t bloom, your heart is in gloom and there is emptiness in every room.
No one seems to care that you’re in despair, they probably don’t even notice if you are there, what can you do, what can you say nothing seems to take your misery away.
Why not remember a day gone before when happiness and Joy were in great store, and all that you did brought Joy to your soul and you were happy well and whole.
Maybe your memories recall an event when most of the time with others it was spent, together you rejoiced in all that you had, and in your heart you were very glad.
What were the things that made it special for you, was it laughter and fun that brought out the Sun, or a kind word spoken to cheer you along, or maybe it was your Special song.
Spend some time and have some fun, join in re-creation with a loved one, then stop and remember someone else who may feel sad, reach out to them and you will both be glad.
For sharing together heals the pain, and showing kindness stops the rain, no longer to have the clouds of fear and doubt the Sun will shine and block them out.
Take time to pray in Jesus’ name and together you’ll have a Joy that can’t be restrained,
For He is the Sun that brightens everyday.
Remember Jesus is only a prayer away, and with us He will always stay, He is the Morning Star and will rise in our heart, for Jesus was there right from the start.

We all have dark days when we wonder where the sun went. As our eyes adjust back to the Son, we are aware of joy despite our circumstances. You shared biblical perspectives through your own words: fellowship, attitude of gratitude, and God’s steadfast presence.

Debbie it’s so good to hear from you again, I have missed you and your Godly sharing and encouragement but I realize as I have shared with you before that your work for the Lord with those who are hurting physically and emotionally is very, very important, God Bless you greatly for your Faithfulness to others including me.
Ron is stable now, His Cancer is managed well, although he now has Prostrate Cancer too, he suffers some side affects of the Chemo but Thankfully not as much as the norm, mostly tiredness and skin sores, please pray for him.
Thanks again dear friend, Christian Love Always – Annie.

Annie, It is good to be “missed!” Thank you for your words of encouragement and friendship. As you know, writing is a way to articulate and share our faith. I need to make the time to do more of it.
Definitely prayers for Ron! A cancer journey is filled with so many ups and downs, but we know that God’s presence is constant.
I think I am all caught up on your blog posts. Please let me know if I missed any.
Take care my sister in Christ!

Thank you Victor, I appreciate your encouragement very much, Poetry is a gift I Thank God for, with my being Dyslectic I’m not suppose to be able to rhyme fluently but I do when lead to.
What are your plans for Easter Victor, how do you remember our Abba Father’s and Jesus our Lord and Saviour’s great gift of Love to us? I have just come back from Church and will now take time to phone some of my friends in Sydney and other parts of Australia who I have not seen for a long time, to wish them God’s blessings on this Good Friday.
Many of His Blessings for you too Victor and your Family – Anne (Annie Mum)

You are welcome Anne.We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
My Easter Sunday morning will definitely be spent in Church and the rest day with my family.
I will continue to share the love of God with people the Lord brings my way. Some people do really need to understand why we celebrate Easter.
Then hopefully, I should be able to put out another post that reflects the season. Thank you Annie Mum.

We can indeed Victor do all things that are good in Christ Jesus, it’s His guidance and Strength that gives us the Victory.
God Bless you Victor with His words and empowering as you share with others about the great Sacrifice Jesus our Lord and Saviour made for us and about how God allowed Him because of His great Love for us.

I am more at peace, Anne. Along w/ Christian music, I have been trying EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for my PTSD. It is a new therapy, but well respected. God, of course, can use anything to heal or comfort us. Thank you for asking. 🙂 ❤

Yes True Anna, God uses His tools to heal us both Physically and Emotionally and will also Heal us Miraculously when needed, He is the only Healer regardless of what He uses to Heal us, all good things like Healing come from Him, sadly many Thank the Doctors etc and not Him.
Blessings – Anne.

Jesus being God’s Son in The Flesh is also The Sun in our lives, He brings Light into the darkness of our day, when we Ask, Seek and Knock.
