The Prayer Room Power

The Power of Prayer changes Fear to Strength, Hate to Love, Bitterness to Forgiveness, Needs to Thankfulness, Sickness to Health, Lost to Found.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.(KJV)

Pray without ceasing, Wow does that mean we don’t stop to eat or sleep or do anything else? No we do what is natural for us to live but we are to always be centered on the Hope we have in Christ Jesus, our Hearts are our cupboard of Prayer and God hears and answers and even gives us our Heart desires, which will be according to His will when The Holy Spirit prays in and through us.

Romans 8:26-28 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should Pray for as we ought but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And He that searcheth the Hearts knoweth what is the Mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the Saints according to the Will of God.

Jude 1: 20 But ye, beloved building up yourselves on your most Holy Faith, Praying in the Holy Ghost.

  2. To me praying without ceasing, is praying and having people or issues in my heart or ‘very being’ , and I believe God knows this as they come to my mind, that it is a continuation of my prayer. That’s about how I can explain it. …Diane

    • Thank you Diane, yes I believe this too and as we Trust in The Holy Spirit He will bring to our hearts those who need our intercessory Prayers, I have felt the need to Pray for someone and later found they were in need of Prayer at that time.

I added another lion, I felt my Post wasn’t finished and with having been a lost sheep I felt it was needed.

      Blessings – Anne.

Pray without ceasing is important. That is one of the first scriptures I learned and to believe what you are praying about in the name of Jesus. The images you put are great.

  6. You cut in half theses Words of Jesus Matthew …….

Matthew 36- 40 Master which is the great Commandment in the Law? Jesus said unto him; Thou shalt Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind. This is the first and great Commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt Love thy Neighbour as thyself. On these Two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.

Yes we are to even Love ourselves as we Love others, not with a Selfish or Narcissistic love but with a Godly Love which comes from the Holy Spirit and it is by God’s Love and Strength that we can Love Him with all our Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength and ourselves and Others too, which the Apostle Paul talks about.much more than once.

  7. Sorry Matthew as you are not reading my Comments or are you reading Scripture with understanding, I will not continue to allow your comments on Freedomborn but I will pray for you to see the need to ask for God’s Wisdom and Empowering by The Spirit and not Trust in Man’s or your own fleshy understanding, logic and reasoning.

1 Corinthians 2:9-16 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that Love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth but which the Holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual things with Spiritual. But the Natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are Spiritually discerned. But he that is Spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the Mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? but we have the Mind of Christ.

  8. Where is God in Paul’s chapter on love…… right through this Chapter and in all of his writings Matthew as you can see in the Scriptures below, or don’t you believe what God tells us either.

2 Timothy 3:1-17 ALL SCRIPTURE IS GIVEN BY INSPIRATION OF GOD and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the Man of God may be Perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (KJV)

Not sure Mathew why you are putting the Apostle Paul down although I have found that some Cults do this too. You don’t seem to know the Scriptures very well or with God’s Wisdom and understanding, you need to ask to receive, it would also help you to read again 1Corinthians 2, although without the Empowering of The Holy Spirit you won’t understand the True meaning of any Scriptures it will be foolishness to you.

God’s is Love and His Love is not just a Word it’s an Action, it has motion which the Apostle Paul shares about in the Scriptures he wrote with God’s Inspiring.

Yes we are to even Love ourselves as we Love others, not with a Selfish or Narcissistic love but with a Godly Love which comes from the Holy Spirit and it is by God’s Love and Strength that we can Love Him with all our Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength and ourselves and Others too, which the Apostle Paul talks about. much more than once.

Below are Scriptures about Love from the Bible there are many more both in both the Old and New Testament which shows God very clearly as the Author, speaking through the Men of God and the Apostles including Paul.

    Paul

Philippians 2:1-3 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of Love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same Love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Ephesians 3 :16-21 That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in Love, May be able to comprehend with all Saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the Love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.KJV

1 Corinthians 13:4 -8a Love is Patient, Love is Kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the Truth. It always Protects, always Trusts, always Hopes, always Perseveres, Love never fails.

Ephesians 4:31-32 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger, and clamour and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Romans 12:15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Hebrews 10 24-25 And let us consider one another in order to stir up Love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

    Mathew

Matthew 36- 40 Master, which is the great Commandment in the Law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great Commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt Love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two Commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Matthew 5:43-45 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the Children of your Father which is in Heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

    Mark

Mark 12:29-31 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the Commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first Commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt Love thy Neighbour as thyself. There is none other Commandment greater than these.(KJV)

    Luke

Luke 10:26-28 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

Luke 6:35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

    John

John 13:34-35, A new Commandment I give unto you, That ye Love one another; as I have Loved you, that ye also Love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my Disciples, if ye have Love one to another.

1John 4 :20 -21 If a man say, I Love God, and hateth his brother/sister, he is a liar: for he that Loveth not his brother/sister whom he hath seen, how can he Love God whom he/she hath not seen? And this Commandment have we from Him, That he who Loveth God Love his brother/sister also.

1John 4:16-17 And we have known and believed the Love that God hath to us. God is Love; and he that dwelleth in Love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world.

John 14:20-22 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my Commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that Loveth me: and he that Loveth me shall be Loved of my Father, and I will Love him, and will manifest myself to him.(KJV)

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    • I saw similar images Anna and thought I would create my own, I felt the focus was good and needed to be shared but the pictures were very old and blurry.

Yes very True Anna, Jesus goes after the Lost Sheep and brings them home, I was one of them, Thank you for reminding me, I have now added to my Post; Lost and Found.

    • P.S Just an added thought Anna, we do need to be careful about what those who are still lost propagate, some are in Cults or their Atheists like I was but all of those God knows as His own because they will come to repentance won’t remain Lost, just as I didn’t even after being an Atheist for almost 30 years because of being deceived as a young Teenager that I came from an Ape and Jesus and the Bible was just made up, being an Atheist was in my head of course not my heart or I would still be one.

      Blessings – Anne.

      • Many of those who deny God’s existence are, I think, carrying deep pain. Rebellion is the only weapon they feel they have against a “cruel” God. That at least is how I saw things during my own atheism. I love the image of the Good Shepherd. He came to rescue me, as He did you, Anne. May His mercy extend to the ones we love who do not yet know Him. ❤

        • Yes I agree with you Anna, Hurt people Hurt people and I did too but we still must be very careful what those who reject Christ propagate as Truth, they may believe it to be True but Satan is the father of Lies and he also whitewashes evil.

God tells us as you know Anna to be careful and to Test the Spirit but yes as you shared to also show Love and Compassion. He tells us to always Stand up for His Truth and asks who will Contend with Him against Evil, yes it may cost us our lives one day but so will rejecting God’s Truth just to be accepted and to be popular as some do.

          Blessings – Anne.
