Blessings for the New Year

The New Year message below I originally received and shared years ago, it really encouraged me to look ahead and not backwards, I thought those who follow me now may also be blessed  by it’s Uplifting focus that never dates. I always find it a wonderful blessing  to  have the opportunity to share how others have been gifted by God in their outreach to Christians and to a hurting world.

Christian Love and Blessings for the New Year and Always – Anne.

The festivities are over and the New Year has come,

Are we making resolutions hoping to keep everyone or have we given up before this year has begun.

Stop and think you don’t have to fail there is always help, there is no need to be frail.

Let’s open our eyes this coming year, to all the Visions and Dreams  left unfilled, reaching out in Faith and Confidence thanking the Lord for the ability and the resources to see us through.

We know it can be done if in Him we are one…

And then we will find ourselves equipped to achieve much more than we have ever dreamed or imagined before.

Let’s let this coming year be a year of discovery and not focus on our weaknesses or others but on our strength in the Lord who will show us the way as we Trust and Obey.

Even an Island needs water, no one can go it alone, so we seek to be a friend not just an acquaintance, we give of ourselves and open our home.

We do the things that build and encourage and lift others up, taking an interest in their interests and being there for them in the hard and good times, listening and giving Godly advise and in willingly accepting the same,

This shows our Wisdom not our shame.

Taking  the time to say beware may stop our friend ending in despair and it’s how we show we really care.

And even if others don’t know the kind things that we do is the Holy Spirit working in me and you, faithfully giving us strength to see us through, but one day all will see what never went on show and rewarded we will be, for God always knows and provides all we need to spread His seed because in our hearts

His Words we heed.

We Laugh together and our hearts are merry but let’s be kind in our Humor, have a laugh at ourselves but not at others, putting  others down changes theirs and our smile to a frown.

Let’s slow down and stop running around and instead of going no where plant our feet on the ground and take a look around.

We forgive an injustice but stand up for the Truth, always willing to forgive or say sorry and put the record straight, especially when it is us who has made the mistake.

Let’s encourage a beginner when trying something new even if there is a risk or two. Support and guide and even if all goes wrong encourage them in the Lord to be Strong.

Because nothing ventured means nothing gained and life without Challenges is not really a easy street it’s rough on our feet and paved with pain because the easier the road the heavier the Load, we reap the lukewarmness we bear and are left in despair.

Trust and Faith, this is the fuel that makes things go and obedience is the path we travel, even if the way is slow…

Walking the straight and narrow may seem like no fun added up in worldly sums, but at least our way is clear and we never have to fear what may be because we are set free and in Eternity forever we will be.

When courage is needed, we give thanks that the Battles not ours, we are never alone and although the way may not be sure, the Battle has been Won before.

Lets remember to say, “I Love you” and not be afraid to say it again and again, and  when by our words our Love we do declare, it’ll be by our Actions others will know it’s more then just  a word, it’s our hearts on show…

Love is the most uplifting Power in the Universe and by it we will know the way we should go.

So we take  the time and look around and the Truth of life will be found.

Let’s continually be thankful for this New Year and for and all of God’s wonderful gifts given to you and me !

Today I have Posted about my need for Prayer and I would very much appreciate your Prayers Debbie, although I do have incredible Peace, I still feel concern that I may not be able to fulfill my commitments with the Children I teach or my other responsibilities.

OK as I’m sure you would say “One Day at a Time” I need to remember this, as we know it’s confirmed in Scripture but please Pray I don’t forget and worry needlessly.

  4. ECUMENICAL DECEPTION? BY STEVE FINNELL
Is the ecumenicism that is practiced today truly representing the spirit of cooperation and Christian unity.

If most of the members of an ecumenical assembly are perverting the gospel and teaching doctrine contrary to God’s word, how could that be described as Christian unity? Cooperation does not validate all participants as members of the body of Christ.

The apostle Paul noted that some Jewish Christians were perverting the gospel my saying “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” (Acts 15:1 NASB) Did Paul suggest that all the churches should join in a ecumenical spirit of unity and cooperation with the Judaizers? No, he did not, he said “I wish that those who are troubling you would even mutilate themselves.” (Acts 5:12 NASB)

Galatians 1:9 As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!(NASB)

Galatians 1:8 Let God’s curses fall on anyone, including myself, who preaches any other way to be saved than the one we told you about; yes, if an angel comes from heaven and preaches any other message, let him be forever cursed. (The Living Bible Paraphrased)

The apostle Paul said let anyone who pervert the gospel message be accursed. Today’s church leaders say teaching other ways to be saved does not disqualify any denomination from participating in ecumenical endeavors, like feeding the poor, and other charitable works.

    1. Some denominations teach that Jesus did not say that water baptism was essential for the forgiveness of sins. They contend Jesus only commanded spiritual baptism.

    2. Some denominations claim that men are saved by faith alone, therefore, water baptism for the forgiveness of sins is not necessary.

    3. Some denomination believe that infants are guilty of Adam’s sin; therefore, it is acceptable to sprinkle water on non-believing infants for the forgiveness of Adam’s and any future sins they will commit.

    4. Some denominations teach that men are saved by grace alone; therefore, God selects certain men for salvation before they are born and that all other will burn in hell.

The apostles Paul say those who teach any other way to be saved should be accursed. Paul says to turn away from those who cause dissension contrary to the teaching you have learned. (Romans 16:17-18) However, modern church leaders say join with them in feeding the poor, worshiping in song, and studying God’s word, prayer, and teaching.

The ecumenical movement today is not based on sound doctrine. To claim to be a Christian does make anyone a Christian anymore that claiming to be a basketball player make a person a member of the NBA.

The apostles gospel terms of pardon. A. Faith John 3:16—B. Repentance Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19—C. Confession Romans 10:9–D. Immersion in water Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, 1 Peter 3:21, Acts 22:16

The apostle Paul called the Judiazers “FALSE BRETHREN.”(Galatians 2:4)

Church leaders today call those who teach other ways to be saved, as fellow workers in Christ.

    • I’m sorry Steve, I intended to respond to your Comment the next Morning after receiving it when I would have had time to reply but I have been having problems with my health and have forgotten a few important details lately but as I was Blogging yesterday I saw another one of your Comments on another person’s Blog and it reminded me that you had left a comment on mine too.

I agree with you Steve there is a lot of half Truths in the Churches today even complete error in Theological understanding but before I continue do you have a problem with what I share, if so please feel free to talk to me about your concerns.

In reference to … 3. Some denomination believe that infants are guilty of Adam’s sin…… I was told by one Church that my 7 Babies who had died at birth or during gestation had gone to Hell, Thankfully I knew the Scriptures that refuted this claim although they would not accept them but what if I hadn’t known God’s Truth, I would have been devastated.

In reference to… 4. Some denominations teach that men are saved by grace alone; therefore, God selects certain men for Salvation before they are born……

God knows the beginning to the end even every hair on our heads, He tells us He knows those who are His and yes He also knows those who will reject Him Eternally. He knows all things including all of us who will repent and be Baptized by water and by the Spirit and believe in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour not just outwardly but in our hearts too. God knew all this even before we were conceived and so chose all of us who will be His before we were Born to be conformed into the image of Jesus and not one of us will be lost. Those who reject Jesus will suffer in the Lake of Fire Eternally, this is their choice not God’s, it’s not His will anyone perishes, He Loved The World, meaning everyone in it so much that He sent Jesus to be our Redeemer.

Christian Love and Blessings – Anne.
