Do we Blame God Now when we Suffer and have Hardship

Why do some blame God for their suffering even if they sugar coat it and say it is for our good.  A few of the Ministries I was involved in over the years were reaching out to both Atheists and Cults in the Hope they would come to realize the deception they believed in, were any hearts changed; I don’t know only God does, which is why we can never judge anyone’s Eternal Destiny but seeds were planted which may bear good fruit even on their death beds or before.

jesus bibleWhen Ministering to those who were walking in darkness, I soon realized it was a common assumption with Atheists, which they seek to prove and try to force on others, even though they claim not to believe in God and that we are suppose to have just invented Him in our delusion and that the Bible, was just written by men but as confirmed below this is not True and we know there is over 300 Truths in Scripture that only God could have known when they were recorded.

2 Timothy 3:16-17  All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the Man of God may be Perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

They say our God deliberately afflicts us, that He is cruel and also seeks to teach and dominate us by force, to make us Puppets leaving us without free will but as we see in the Scriptures below, they say this because they are reading the Scriptures with fleshy eyes, they have no Light, they are in darkness.

2 Timothy 3:1-17 This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with Sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses so do these also resist the Truth men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the Faith. But they shall proceed no further for their folly shall be manifest unto all men as their’s also was.

I was  often challenged by Atheists and people in Cults and still am today but also by those deceived by their teaching even in our own Denominations who believe that God chooses to hurt us, they doubt God is Love in all His ways towards us and believe He afflicts us by doing  evil to bring good out of it, which the Scriptures tell us is Slander (Romans3:8)  but yes He does work everything for good in our lives including what Satan and others mean for evil.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the Children of Men.

This  deception that God willingly afflicts us for our good which  even some Christians believe, has caused many to blame God for what Satan who controls this earth and others do to us that causes us to suffer or because we live in a fallen world or because of our own Sin.

God does not hurt us willingly to teach or punish us  and He will not force us to Love and obey His will but He does discipline His own by letting us reap the evil we sow until we come to our senses like the Prodigal son  and this is not pleasant, who enjoyed time out as a child. He also chastises and warns those who Sin through the Scriptures and The Body of Christ.

23 Adam and EveSome ask; If God knew bad things would happen, why did He create Satan and Mankind,  He did so because He is Love and Love never gives up, it continues to Hope and He knew from Eternity that you and I would Love Him with all our heart and so the gain outweighed the lose, to Him our friendship was worth all His heartbreak, we are His priceless Treasure and so He sent Jesus to Redeem us, to pay the cost when man would not listen and Jesus willingly suffered for us…How great is God’s Love!

Why create Satan,  if we have no choice than we are Puppets! but God did not create him evil, Satan chose to rebel against God’s Authority, he wants His Power and Glory.

But it’s  not God’s  will anyone perishes, which means to be separated from Him in Eternal Torment but He knows those who are His and those who are not, which is what these Scriptures  below confirm…..

Romans 8:29 For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Titus 2:13-15 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all Authority. Let no man despise thee.

Those God knows as His own, will know Him as He is, it was by His hand in Creation that we are all Born, and those He foreknow as His own, He chooses to be conformed into the image of Jesus even before we are conceived and when we are Born He knows us even every hair on our head and His thoughts about us outnumber the grains of sand and His plans for us are very good.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

PUPPETSHe knows the Destiny of all of us, He knows those who will come to heart repentance, and those who won’t, He never forces anyone to accept Him, He does not want Puppets but for us to willingly choose to Love and so obey Him and to do so we must first humble ourselves and repent for all the evil we have done and said so we can accept His forgiveness and than be empowered to obey Him as we Ask, Seek and Knock.

2 Timothy 2:19-21 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, let every one that nameth the Name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the Master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

#Baby 9Thankfully Babies and Children who do not understand good and evil go to be with God, they are never punished for the sins of their Parents, all the Children who have died and did not know right from wrong, were saved Eternally, as they all are today. The Israelite’s Children were allowed to enter the Promised Land even though their adulterous Parents were not.

God is not for evil or does He deliberately allow it, what some believe to be evil is not, it is Merciful and Compassionate and comes from God’s heart of Love. Yes evil does happen to us, as it did to Paul (see below) this is why we Trust God to work it all out for good, even if those we Love hurt us and continue to hurt us, we know without doubt God won’t but we can’t Trust Him fully in the flesh either, only through The Holy Spirit who we ask for and receive like God’s wisdom.

2 Timothy 3: 10-13 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, Purpose, Faith, Longsuffering, Charity, Patience, Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium at Lystra what persecutions I endured but out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yea and all that will live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived.

So is it God’s will we suffer, the Scriptures say No! do we have to suffer to have Compassion for others who do, No, genuine Compassion comes from The empowering of The Holy Spirit not the flesh, many become bitter and angry when they suffer and blame God, some even reject Him, or they seek revenge when others hurt them.

Some judge those who suffer as deserving and those who show their emotion as being weak and not having Faith but we remember Jesus cried and was known as a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief and yet He had deep inner Joy in knowing who He was and regardless of our circumstances we can too.

Those of us who suffer for doing good will be kept strong in our spirit and will be greatly rewarded.

Psalm 126:5-6 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

THE LIGHTWe also need to hold onto the Truth that God is not a Sadist or does He expect us to be Masochists, when He tells us to give thanks in all things, even when we suffer, it is not for what causes our suffering or hardship that we are giving thanks for but because we can be assured that He is with us as we go through them ( see below) Jesus is our Shepherd and all will work out for good, this is why we give thanks which in turn gives us great inner Joy. But if we blame God for what we suffer we will live in fear and torment of what He will do to us even if sugar coated it is for our good.

John 10:7-11 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the Door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the Door by me if any man enter in he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture. The thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly. I am The good Shepherd; The good Shepherd giveth His life for the sheep.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

fruitAs we choose to walk in The Fruit of The Spirit (see below) we are empowered to do so by Him and we than increase in these strengths and the evil of our fleshy mind and soul are put to death, because evil and good cannot Co-exist in Unity and God’s Love is the strongest power on this earth to demolish strongholds and so we patiently go through trouble and hardship knowing they will have an end.

Galatians 5:22-26 But the fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Jesus Wins 1Now that we are in the end times and we can see once again the practices and customs of the Pagans and other unbelievers in our God of Creation, starting to have a great influence today, making it necessary for Jesus Christ to return and to separate His True followers from those who do evil before the end of this World as we know it comes. Satan seeks to hurt us which is the exact opposite of God’s plans for us. (see below ) Satan’s children or followers also seek to hurt, belittle, accuse, slander and deceive but God will keep us strong to the end and like Loving Parents with their young, He will be by our side to help us.

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

To wait on The Lord , means also to Trust Him and depend on Him, to know His plans for us are very good, our tears are captured in the vessel of His heart and He will change them all to Joy. We are the Children of the Promise, Abraham’s Spiritual seed and we outnumber the Stars. Galatians 3:28-29

Psalm 27:14 Wait on the LORD be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

We ask God for His empowering as King David did below and to help us make every thought captive to Christ, so our actions will follow, as often said ….What would Jesus do!

Psalm 51 (10 ) Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Thanks for listening – Christian Love Always  – Anne.

As humans, we value our free will. The evil on earth is not God’s design, but rather evidence of our free will. May we choose to follow God and hate sin with all our hearts!

    • Very True Debbie but some do not know God’s Heart of Love, even Job got it wrong which he later asked forgiveness for when God showed him all Good things come from Him not bad but God forgave Job and Blessed him greatly as He does with us when needed.

Satan won the right to put us all to the Test but God keeps us strong to the end and not one of us will be lost even if we do need forgiveness as we work out our Salvation but not meaning work for it.

    • Thank you dear Joanna for your Loving Encouragement, wonderfully God’s Wisdom and Empowering is for all who ask for them, I will leave a Link below for you that will save detail here because I want to talk to you about your Nightmares.

      Wisdom –

But first to condense; I was wrongly diagnosed with Bipolar, I have Hashemotoes a Thyroid malfunction but if untreated it’s symptoms mimic Bipolar, I use to have fear attacks. One day when I was visiting a friend and feeling an attack coming on, I went outside and asked God to help me and than suddenly I started Praying the Prayer below and the fear went, I did the same when I felt fear again and the fear never came back, perhaps it will work for you too Joanna..

Dear Heavenly Father I pray in the Name of Jesus who shed His blood for me please bind Satan that he cannot affect me Spiritually, Emotionally, Mentally or Physically. Amen

Thanks, Anne. I’ve rebuked satan in Jesus’ name and prayed so much. But I know He’s telling me the dreams are being allowed and would be allowed for some time for a purpose. I can’t continue to pray to not have them but that I would know His will for them.

        • If you notice Joanna I did not rail at Satan, I went to God and asked Him to rebuke him and this is what we are told to do as confirmed in Jude 9, the prayer I shared with you came from The Holy Spirit not my head.

Joanna God is not allowing your nightmares, it grieved me to hear what you shared about them on your Post, your being abused and God is not willingly allowing you to be which would be the same as causing it. He will work it all out for good in the end but He does not cause His Children to suffer so He can, although He knows we will suffer and it grieves Him when we do but He is with us, giving us His Strength to endure and He always protects our Souls, Satan cannot steal us away from Him but if Satan has a stronghold we need to repent and turn from evil so he will flee.

Without God’s Wisdom people read into Scripture what is not being said by God and ignore what is, this is why Cults have caused so much confusion, even some newer Translations of the Bible are in error because they depended on their own understanding not God’s.

Please read again Joanna the Scriptures below asking God to give you understanding and to also confirm with other Scriptures His Truth. If you believe He is willingly allowing you to suffer how can you accept His help or even believe He is helping you.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the Children of Men.

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of Peace and not of evil, to give you a Future and a Hope.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you I have called you by Name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression you will not be burned up the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD your God The Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

    • When we know God’s Heart of Love Joanna, we do not doubt His goodness, we know He can do no evil or does He willingly allow it or plan for it to hurt us.

Understanding Scripture does not come from what others tell us but what Jesus our only Teacher does, He will lead us into all Truth, we ask for God’s Wisdom and empowering and we don’t doubt we have received them.

1John 2:26-28 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any Man teach you but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is Truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.

Colossians 2 :2 -3 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in Love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

1John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is True, and we are in Him that is True, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the True God, and eternal life.

Matthew 10:26-28 Fear them not therefore for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed and hid that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness that speak ye in Light: and what ye hear in the ear that preach ye upon the housetops (KJV)

      Psalm 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you shall go.I will guide you with Mine eye.

Take Care – Blessings – Anne.

      • Joanna Lynn says:

I think we’re on different paths in this area of our beliefs. He does no evil, I agree, He can’t, but He is the all-powerful, all-knowing God. Nothing happens that He doesn’t know. He knows everything that has ever happened and will ever happen. If you’re saying that He doesn’t allow evil to mean He doesn’t allow any harm or pain to come our way, that’s just not true. My nightmares are not evil, they are all the pain that has come in my life that I have pushed back and not able to process and heal from, at least in part. I do know God’s love and would never doubt His goodness. By having you read the article wasn’t me just buying into what someone else said, it came from years of intensive Bible study on my own as well as with very Godly teachers and ministers. With your beliefs in this area, how do you explain Jesus’ arrest, floggings and, ultimately, his death on the cross? God definitely allowed it and it was prophesied about for generations before. Jesus even asked Him why God had forsaken Him, since God couldn’t stand to look at sin and all the sins in the world were on Jesus. God allowed it because it was meant and used for good – the benefit of His people. God doesn’t allow rough things into our lives for allowing pain and hurt. He allows them only for the ultimate good of those who love Him.

I don’t want this to become a battle or a division. When I say He allows things to happen, that doesn’t mean I think He is evil, it means I know everything that happens in this world is under His control. Yes, satan is referred to the ruler of this world, but that doesn’t mean God has given Him complete power of anything. That also is not God’s nature, especially where His children are concerned.

        • To willingly allow evil is to agree with it Joanna and God hates all evil as you also shared, He does not willingly allow us to suffer nor did He with Jesus, it was Jesus who chose to die for us knowing God Loved us greatly and would be heartbroken if we were Separated from Him Eternally.

There was no other way to save us so Jesus an innocent Man chose to Redeem us by His physical death and Scripture confirms this Truth. Jesus could have called a legion of Angels to save Him but He knew His Fathers heart of Love for us. It was our Sin that Separated Jesus from His Father it was not because either willingly wanted or allowed it, there was no other way to save us.

As I shared before Joanna, if God were to stop all evil now, He would have to put an end to this world as He did in Noah’s time but He is patient giving all those He knows as His own time to repent, it’s not His will anyone perishes, meaning to be Eternally separated from Him in torment and we have assurance not one of us whom He knows as His own will be lost.

I would like to continue to resolve our differences Joanne by responding to your questions and to affirm that I also don’t believe it is your Sin that is causing your Nightmares but first I would appreciate if you would read a Message I wrote a few years ago, I will leave the Link for you, it will help you understand my focus better.

          Blessings – Anne.

          • Joanna Lynn says:

When I first read your post, the part about Him not allowing things to happen didn’t stick in my memory so I didn’t comment on it at first.

I think we’re going to have to agree to disagree on this because neither of us is going to move on our position. I believe God is an all-powerful, loving God where everything has to be sifted through His hands first. He knows even what satan is going to do before he does it. What you are saying makes no sense to me and what I am saying makes no sense to you. But I could never trust God if He had no part at all in what temptations are allowed into our lives or to what degree, when He also promises that a temptation will never be more than we can bear. If He isn’t in control of what pain, suffering and temptation is allowed into our lives, then there is no limit to what satan can do. If God is only reacting to what is happening, He can’t control the degree to which satan tempts us. He can only help us with the damage when it is immediately more than we can bear and we make the wrong choice because satan isn’t going to play games with us and won’t have to slip deceptive thoughts into our minds if God has given him free reign. Without God’s authority limiting what satan can do to us, he would immediately kill each and every one of us who have fully given our lives to Jesus as our Lord. There’s no reacting to immediate death.

To me also, what you believe goes completely against God allowing satan to afflict Job and Peter (where it is mentioned very clearly in Scripture that satan had to get His permission and, with Job, when satan had reached the point where God has placed the limit and told him to stop, he had to go back to God to get permission to do more). You say there is no biblical backing for what I believe, but these two are clear.

I think the world of you, Anne, but this is where I will have to stop this discussion for now. I don’t mean in anyway that I want to stop interacting and supporting you. This is just a difference we don’t seem to be able to agree upon and that’s ok. I have many friends where we don’t agree on things and we still think the world of and support each other.

    • It is very True Joanna, God is all-powerful and all-knowing and yes nothing happens that He doesn’t know about, He knows everything that has ever happened and will ever happen including when we will come to heart repentance and that is why He chooses us to be conformed into the image of Jesus. Yes He also knows what Satan is going to do before he does it.

But He doesn’t willingly allow evil to cause us to Suffer or for us to have Hardship but He knows we will.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the Children of Men.

I agree Joanna, your nightmares are because of all the pain that you suppressed but they are indeed evil in that they are causing you to suffer and if you do know God’s Love and would never doubt His goodness, than you would know they are not what He wants you for you, how can He help you if you are believing He wants you to suffer.

I never agree to disagree Joanna, it causes division and is why we have all the different Denominations and Cults etc, I do what God tells us to do, which is to resolve our differences by taking them to Him because we are to agree in all His Truth …

1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Philippians 3:14-16 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be Perfect, be thus minded and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, where to we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

God confirms His Truth by The Scriptures which we understand having asked for and received His Wisdom and the empowering of The Holy Spirit instead of Trusting in Man’s fleshy Worldly wisdom- 1Corinthians 2:9-16

I do understand what your saying Joanna because I use to believe the same things until I asked for God’s wisdom, now I don’t doubt the Truth He has Taught me.

But it is very sad that you believe that God willingly allows us to be Tempted, the Scriptures below confirm this is not True but yes He gives us His Strength to resist Temptation and none will be greater than this but it is still our choice to choose to resist.

James 1:12-14 Blessed is the man that endureth Temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life which the Lord hath promised to them that Love Him. Let no man say when he is Tempted, I am Tempted of God: for God cannot be Tempted with evil, neither Tempteth He any man But every man is Tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed.

Hebrews 4:15-16 For we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Because of the fall Satan has the right to put us to the Test as he did with Jesus, Abraham, Job, Peter, Paul and many others throughout the ages but God protects our Soul when He knows us as His own and not one of us will be lost Eternally, Jesus goes after the lost sheep, knowing they will come to heart repentance.

Psalm 97:9-11 For thou, Lord art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods. Ye that Love the Lord, hate evil: He preserveth the Souls of His Saints; He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Our Time on earth is allotted to us before we are Born, God knows when we are going to die and we remember He told Satan He could not kill Job. I should have died at least 3 times even when I believed after being deceived that I evolved from an Ape and God was just made up, yet God still saved my life.

I value you very much as a Person of Worth Joanna and yes you can always count on my Support too. I also Thank God that we met and I will be praying you seek His wisdom and also ask for His Help with your Nightmares, believing He wants to and will heal you.

      Christian Love Always – Anne.

      • Joanna Lynn says:

Anne, please understand that I can’t go down this road with you. To keep going back and forth with no resolution in sight is taking me down a very dark path. Because of the way I process hard feelings (I can’t label them, so I have instead grouped everything that makes me feel a certain way together and when those same feelings surface, I remember times when I have felt this way before) is not something I can do. It is not good because these types of conversations were huge with my abusers and they always ended with nothing I said meaning anything and it was always determined that I was completely wrong and they were completely right. I’m sure this is not healthy, but it’s where I am right now.

I do not want you to end up being grouped with these people and those situations. I need us to stop this back and forth and move forward in ways we can agree. I think that much of you that I don’t want to hurt you or have to come to the decision to walk away from you. Please understand this is because I care for you.

I stand firm in what I believe in this area and I believe you do as well. Neither of us is going to convince the other of anything different. That’s ok. It’s not for us to change the other. That is God’s job alone.

        Thanks, Joanna

    • I don’t run away Joanna or suppress what is important and needing to be expressed, what you need to remember is that this discussion is not about us, it’s about God’s Truth. I don’t want anyone to depend on me for their understanding but on Jesus our only Teacher who leads us into all Truth and tells us to Ask, Seek and Knock, have you asked for God’s Wisdom and empowering or are you still waiting to be Sapped?.

When we seek God with all our Heart Joanna than we will find Him not before. The Scripture I shared with you shows your own understanding is in error with some very important Truths and will continue to be until you humble yourself and seek God’s Truth and not continue to Trust in what you think or what you have been taught in error.

One thing Joanna that you are believing by your own Testimony, is that God does not want to heal you and so you won’t be until you believe in Faith that He does and will, yes you do have some Faith but you need to ask God to help your unbelief.

      Christian Love Always – Anne.

      • Joanna Lynn says:

Anne, please stop. You’ve taken this from a difference of a belief to accusing me of having little faith, being proud and accusing the extremely Godly teachers, ministers and friends in my life of being less than knowledgable or strong in their faith. And I pray pray through everything and then prayerfully research anything that doesn’t mesh with what I’ve thought. Sometimes I am wrong and have researched more to grow strong in what I have learned (these aren’t salvation beliefs), but it is still important for me to be aligned with His Truths. I have no idea who your teachers and Godly friends are, but I would never attack them when I have no idea of anything about them. That is beyond unfair. I am blessed beyond measure with the trusted friends and teachers I have and have had in my life. I have studied the Bible throughout my adult life. One study I did for many years, called Precepts, uses the Bible to prove the Bible. But I have also prayerfully sought God and His wisdom in everything. I have grown in knowledge, but ultimately know that He is the giver of all knowledge and wisdom. I don’t take my faith or His love lightly and I won’t allow someone to talk me my faith is weak when it’s not.

You’ve mentioned Scripture and told me they clearly say I’m wrong, but I gave you Scriptures that not only stated but also gave clear life stories of God allowing pain and hardship, but worked them all ultimately for good. There is absolutely no way to read something different into those Scriptures because they defend themselves. And there are many more. Genesis 50:20 is yet another example and Jesus in the garden asking God if it be His will to take this cup from Him, yet He didn’t and Jesus suffered and died.

But then you crossed into saying I didn’t believe God wants to heal me. I don’t believe that at all. I stated that it’s hard for me to believe I will ever fully be healed after so many years working through it all. That isn’t stating anything about God. That is stating the amount of work I’ve done and so much more to do that my humanness is tired and it puts me in a place that is hard to see full freedom happening, because it’s something I’ve never known. It’s like someone who is in the midst of great tragedy or a horrific event where no way out is obvious. That doesn’t mean I have no or little faith in knowing God will heal me. Without my faith, I would probably be dead because I don’t think I could have made it through all this. It would have been too much to bear.

For these reasons, I will not be continuing this conversation. There is a time to step back. That isn’t running away. It’s understanding that there comes a point where an agreement will not be reached through continuing the conversation and then the discussion turns into an argument and the words come out as an attack. Nothing positive is to be gained in doing this. It’s the whole beating a dead horse thing. Respect is essential in growing trust and building relationships.

I’m sorry you want to push this issue to a point where you have made assumptions and presented them as truth while also judging me when you really have no idea. You know what I’ve allowed my readers to know. Where this relationship has gone is one of the main reasons I have so many walls and protections built up and why I don’t reveal everything about me except to a small few that have earned and kept my trust. My biggest issue is that my faith is the one thing I hold tight to and God is the center of my life. My hope is in Him and I owe everything to Him. For you or anyone to question it when you don’t know me is wrong and hurtful.

We can continue our relationship, if you want to, but this subject is off limits for us to discuss. I won’t comment when you write about it and I ask the same of you.

    • Even the Disciples Joanna asked Jesus to increase their Faith and I have also done this and you need to do so too but it seems you are not reading the Scriptures I have shared so yes it is a waste of time continuing our discussion but if you had read them you would agree that you are in error. I have also responded to the Scriptures you shared and showed why they do not confirm that God willingly allows us to suffer or to have Nightmares, He also does not do evil to bring good out of it as you claimed, the Scriptures tell us to say this even about Believers is Slander, even more so God.

I don’t care how many teachers you have had Joanna or how many Bible Studies you have done, you can be sure with having been a Christian for well over 30 years I have much more learning than you but I count it all as nothing until I asked for and received God’s Wisdom and empowering and you can be sure that what I share now is His Truth or He tells lies.

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get Wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

James 1:5-6 If any of you lack Wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in Faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

I repeat Joanna, we have one Teacher who will lead us into all Truth, please read the Scriptures below and stop Trusting in what you think or have been taught in error…

Matthew23:8-10 But you do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher The Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your Father for One is your Father, He who is in Heaven. And do not be called Teachers for One is your Teacher The Christ. ( NKJV )

1John 2:26-28 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any Man teach you but as the same anointing Teacheth you of all things and is Truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath Taught you, ye shall abide in Him.

John 15:14-15 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you Friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.(KJV)

Matthew 10:26-28 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops (KJV)

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you shall go. I will guide you with Mine eye.

      Christian Love Always – Anne.
