Update After My Accident

thanksThank you my Blogging friends for your Prayers and Support and for everyone who helped and prayed for me after the Accident on my Mobility Scooter. I am very grateful to God for the amazing help I received at the time of the Accident (see link below) and that I did not have any head injuries or broken bones but I haven’t had much sleep during the last few weeks as I have been experiencing frequent intense pain down my left shoulder and arm and as I’m left handed it’s been very noticeable during the day too.

Accident- https://freedomborn.wordpress.com/2016/09/13/im-needing-your-prayer-support-again/

After X-rays and a Ultra-Scan, my Doctor told me today that the pain was being caused through pulled Tendons and it would take up to 3 weeks before I would be pain free from these. I also still have problems focusing with my right eye but have been referred to a Specialist for this, I’m still waiting for my Appointment but I will let you know the outcome.

As I was thinking about what happened it reminded my of a Story about Two Boxes I received by e-mail a few years ago which I have shared below for those who have not heard it before.

I’m not Happy Clappy that I’m in pain but I give Thanks and rejoice that The Lord is helping me endure and has been with me through it all and will continue to be as He promises all of us in Scripture ( see below) and He will give me His strength to persevere and patience as I heal.

Will He  heal me Miraculously again like He has done more than once before, I don’t know, He may do so but regardless He has shown me great Love and Compassion through others who have helped me including Ron, Friends, Doctors, Nurses, Ambulance and  Medical Staff, even Strangers and with those like and you who have been Faithful to Pray for me and yes He has answered your Prayers and mine because knowing you all Cared, uplifted me and Comforted me greatly and so I have not given into despair or fear and worry of what might be wrong.

My heartfelt Thanks to all of you again, through your Prayers you have given me much Joy even as I suffer and also Hope  that I will be well again soon.

Christian Love and Blessings – Anne.

two-boxesgold-and-blackI have in my hands two Boxes,
Which God gave me to hold.
He said…
“Put all your sorrows in the Black box,
And all your Joys in the Gold.”

I heeded His words and in the two Boxes,
Both my Joys and sorrows I stored,
But though the Gold became heavier each day,
The Black was as light as before.

black-box-openedWith curiosity, I opened the Black,
I wanted to find out why,
And I saw in the base of the Box a hole,
Which my sorrows had fallen out by.

I showed the hole to God and mused,
“I wonder where my sorrows could be!”
He smiled a gentle smile and said;
“My Child, they’re all here with me …”

I asked God why He gave me the Boxes,
Why the Gold and the Black with the hole?

“My Child, the Gold is for you to count your Blessings, gold-box-1
The Black is for you to Let go.

  2. Anne, I scrolled back a few blogs to catch up with your accident situation. These ole bones aren’t made for tumbles that seem to come our way. I love your boxes story. It reminds me of a similar version wherein like children we take our broken toys to God but he can’t fix them because we never really let go. Love and prayer be with you. Sheri

Dearest Anne, I am back online after being away for a while. I am sorry to hear that you are still dealing with pain from the accident. As God leads you on the path to complete healing, may He continue to reveal Himself in new ways. God bless and take it easy a you recover! God has got this!

    • Thank you again Debbie for your Compassion, it is strange what happened today; I have had a lot of pain because of the torn tendons even in just raising my left arm and could not get it very high but when I was singing in Church today, I raised it in Worship without thinking, I didn’t realize straight away what I had done but when I did I was amazed because I had no pain in raising it and keeping it up there.

Yes I still have pain now but I know without a doubt God is with me and will heal me in whichever way He chooses and that He will even work in my suffering for good, like He has done before.

When we fully recognize that God is for us, a burden is lifted! When we lose ourselves in God’s presence, I think we more clearly see (and feel) who we were meant to be. Keep singing dear Annie! Psalm 59:16 – “But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.”

        • Thank you dear Debbie for the Uplifting Psalm and yes God is indeed my fortress, today the Doctor told me that I need an Operation, I will do an update soon and also share what happened in Church as I did with you, I feel now that God was reassuring me that I’m not alone, how wonderful that He is with us and will be through all that life brings to us good and bad.

God’s Bless you greatly Debbie for your Loving Encouragement and Support – Anne.

        • Why do you feel you have to start a new Blog Bj ? you have a good Blog now and many followers, perhaps it would be better for you to just wait until your more settled, maybe write a few Messages ready to Post, Pray and ask God to lead you and in doing so you will feel more at Peace because your focus will be much more on Him. This is what I find when I Post or write comments sharing about Him and using Scripture to confirm His Truth too.

            • Yes there is indeed wonderful Truths on you Blog Bj that you have shared and there is a time for everything even to grieve which some shallow people can’t comprehend but it shows their lack not ours. As the Scripture below confirms we are to carry each others burdens and even cry together, those who are insensitive make fun of others when their hurting or minimize their pain, give yourself time to heal dear friend.

Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one anther’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.

I started using God’s Balm again instead of other remedies and now have much less pain in my left side, I can even raise my arm and writing is not so painful. I went to the Optometrist today and the prognoses although I still have a problem, was much better than at first thought by my Doctor, I will be doing another update with the results soon.

Anne, which version of Isaiah 43:1-3 is this?

            Like

            • I mostly use the K.J.V Maria as it is closest to the original being Translated from the original Greek not the Spanish, so it has less of Man’s errors in Translation but God can use any Translation, He will show us man’s error or deception by Cults and False Teachers.

Some have problems when God refers to others by name or by their gender in Scripture and claim it is not for us but apart from when He is referring to our different God given roles as Men and Woman, He is referring to all His Redeemed Children in Christ Jesus, we are all Spiritual Israelites and Children of The Promise as confirmed in the Scripture below and as it also confirms all Scripture is inspired by Him for us to Mature and He tells us it is for all Generations.

Romans 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew which is one inwardly and circumcision is that of the heart in the Spirit and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men but of God.KJV

Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s then are ye Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the Promise.KJV

2 Timothy 3:1-17 And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto Salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by Inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the Man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (KJV)

What Translation do you use Maria?

              Blessings – Anne.

Hi, Anne! For studying I use the New King James Version and the NIV, but for quoting on my blog I use the New King James Version. I asked you what version you use because I have not seen these two phrases in Isaiah 43:1-3 before:

                “rivers of difficulty”
                “the fire of oppression”

The New King James translates Isaiah 43:2 this way:
                “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.”

Whatever you have quoted sounds more like an interpretation of Isaiah 43:2.

                Liked by 1 person

    • Thank you Maria for reminding me, I have used a lot of different Translations in the past and yes you are right this Isaiah 43:1-3 is not from the KJV it is as you said worded differently, it’s from the Living Bible although what it says is confirmed in other Scriptures the same as Jeremiah 29:11-12 what was added in it was not to deceive us either like the Cults Versions and other Translations are but as I shared before God will show us when it is deception.

There is verses Maria in the KJV where parts of it have been deleted in some other Translations such as Romans 8:1-5 (see below) but what they deleted in the first verse is confirmed later in the same Chapter so it does belong and is important. I also found the same Translation changed a Man’s name in their first Translation who was an Apostle to a Woman’s name in their last Translation, yet claimed in both that they were led by The Holy Spirit in what they wrote but we know He does not change His mind. They have also deleted parts of (1John 5:7) and have changed the meaning of a verse in Hebrews by adding to it.

Romans 8:1-5 There is therefore now no Condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. For the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the Law of Sin and death. For what the Law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh God sending His own Son in the likeness of Sinful flesh and for Sin condemned Sin in the flesh that the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit..(KJV)

Romans 8: 1-5 Therefore, there is now no Condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the Law of Sin and death For what the Law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of Sinful flesh to be a Sin offering And so He condemned Sin in the flesh in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

I’m so glad you have an answer to the pain on your left side. That has hopefully alleviated any anxiety as to what was causing the pain. I hope your eye appointment will reveal the problem with focusing. When is your appointment?

    • Thank you for your Compassion Joanna, Thankfully through it all I have had Peace and still do even though I’m experiencing on going pain. When I’m not well I have always had assurance regardless of what was wrong with me that God will heal me again, even though I’m not sure what tools He will use to do so.

I have an Appointment with my Optometrist on Thursday so I will know more about my eyesight but I’m still waiting for the Specialist to call me, although I may call him today so I can arrange Transport if needed.

I wasn’t sure you were still Blogging Joseph as I didn’t receive a reply to my Comments on your Posts, I hope all is OK with you now.

      • I am sorry for being so absentee on my commenting. Life has been sooo busy with ministry. I end up having a spare 30 minutes or so to blog twice a week …or so and I schedule posts ahead. I try to stay current with the comments but obviously fail frequently. I am currently working with a life coach to see what aspects of my work I am going to put away and I have been shocked at how painful this work of letting go of work is. I am hopeful to get to a place of greater consistency in my blog relations because this is one of the things I am truly passionate about.

        • Thank you Pastor Joseph for your response but I recently read one of your Messages where you said you were going away, so I understood that you would need time to catch up with your responsibilities and yes being in Ministry also needs time to organize priorities . Are you still a Pastor? or do you have another role in the Church now? anyway I will call you Pastor Joseph in future until you advise me differently.

I was always encouraged by your Messages Pastor Joseph and I very much appreciated how you presented your Blog, it was easy to follow, having many Posts shown on one page as some do now, is hard to follow, I appreciate one Post at a time, others may differ but that is how I feel.

God bless you greatly Pastor Joseph as you reach out again to others offering Eternal Hope in our Awesome Loving Lord and Saviour.

          Blessings – Anne.
