I love stories about Animals all types but especially dogs, some have been amazing like this story about Stubby a little stray Bull Terrier found by J. Robert Conroy and smuggled into the 102nd Infantry during WWI, he won the heart of the Captain after saluting him and was allowed to stay as their Mascot.
CSgt. Stubby as the Soldiers called him soon proved valuable as a qualified guard dog and he saved many Soldiers lives alerting them to danger. After suffering a mustard gas attack Stubby became ultra-sensitive to its odor and was able to run through the trenches, barking and biting soldiers awake before an attack.
Stubby could locate wounded Americans on the battlefield by listening for the specific sounds of English amid the fracas. He’d stay and bark until the Medics came or lead the Soldiers back to the trenches.
Once Stubby caught sight of a new Soldier in the trenches but after the Man called to him, Stubby recognizing the tone of his voice, his ears went flat and he charged. The Man ran and Stubby bit him on the leg causing him to fall. Stubby kept attacking until the American Soldiers came. The Man he bit was a German Spy who was mapping out the trenches.
Eventually Stubby was injured and unable to return to the front line. He spent the rest of the war on duty in the Hospital, improving the morale of the wounded Soldiers. By the end of WWI he’d been in 17 battles.
Later he led the American Troops in a Pass and Review Parade and later visited with President Woodrow Wilson. He visited the White House twice and met Presidents Harding and Coolidge.
CSgt.Stubby was awarded many medals for his heroism, including a medal from the Humane Society which was presented by General John Pershing, the Commanding General of the United States Armies.
Stubby was also awarded a membership in the American Legion and the Y.M.C.A. When his master, J. Robert Conroy, began studying law at Georgetown University, he became the mascot of the Georgetown Hoyas.
CSgt. Stubby lived out the rest of his life comfortably with his Master Conroy, he died in 1926 and for sure he will never be forgotten.

God’s Creation is Amazing, no wonder it brings Praise and Glory to Him and is why He tells us Mankind will be without excuse if they claim He is not a reality, as we know His hand Prints of Love are everywhere.
Romans 1:19-22 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of Him from the Creation of the World are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made even His Eternal Power and Godhead so that they are without excuse. Because that when they knew God they glorified Him not as God neither were thankful but became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise they became fools.
Psalm 145: 10 All they Works shall Praise the, O Lord and they Saints shall Bless Thee.

This story is another example that God never forgets our struggles and He will reveal Himself in new ways right in the midst of our difficult places. How wonderful that God sent a reminder of His love through a dog that would protect, befriend, and encourage the soldiers! I am thankful for God and CSgt. Stubby. (On a lighter note, now that’s a “dog’s life!”)

They sure are God’s Creatures Bj and they didn’t evolve, yes His Creation is amazing, no wonder it brings Praise and Glory to Him and why He tells us Mankind will be without excuse if they claim He is not a reality, as we know His hand Prints of Love are everywhere.

Thanks Jan, when I read Stubby’s Story I just had to share it too, God’s Creation is indeed amazing, look at you and me, of course your much more prettier than I am but than it seems I have more life wisdom than you, with my being a Grannie Annie and having lived longer, well this is what God tells us so it must be True, He is always right.
Seriously Jan I’m looking forward to visiting you tomorrow Aussie time and seeing what else you have been sharing, I’m behind again because of the Accident on my Mobility Scooter but I have saved some of your Posts.

All God’s Creation will Praise Him, just as we see with Stubby, did he evolve from nothing or was he Created, only the foolish or deceived would claim he just happened.
Blessings – Grannie Annie.

Only God can give the breath of Life, Secular Scientists have tried for years to create variable life forms but without success, the jelly substance they evolved comes from the bacteria in the Air and yet they would still no doubt claim Stubby came from nothing.

I also love this Story Claire about Stubby, just amazing, much more than instinct, God’s Creation does indeed show His reality and Praises Him in harmony.
I’m getting better Claire, I still have pain in my left side and blurry vision in one eye which makes it hard for me to read even with glasses on but I do have help now with my housework and I have Granny Naps if needed, Thank you for Caring.
Thanks also for visiting and sharing Claire, if I had known I would have put the Jug on, if only I could, I think a cuppa with you in reality, would be very interesting and very enjoyable too.

We are definitely blessed to have the intellect of seeing the beauty and purpose of His creation. Sad that some people destroy what was given to us.
A real visit and some coffee sharing sure sounds lovely! I’ve never been to Australia but who knows what the Lord has in store for the future. 🙂
I’m glad to know you’re getting better.

You will always be welcome Claire in my home if you do visit Aussie Land, just as I know you would welcome me, we have a bond in Jesus that is unbreakable, not based on the Temporal but on the Eternal.
I wonder what type of Coffee they use in Heaven Lol

Such a great image to picture we can have coffee time with Jesus. I’m sure He will only serve the best brew. 🙂

Yes I agree Claire, for sure if there was Coffee in Heaven, Jesus would have the Best but of course as we know we won’t eat and drink in Heaven, we won’t even have tummies we will be like the Angels, Hmmmm no cleaning the toot!
Blessings – Anne.
