Thankfully Ron is much better and was able to be part of the Working Bee at Church today, although mostly Supervising but yes hands on when needed.
Carolyn is home again and also feeling much better and coping well. Both still have physical problems that need to have Medical help but God has answered our Prayers in that they are both improving each day and remain positive in their focus.

So far Ron is continuing to manage well Caleb, he has a few side affects but not what was expected, he also remains positive, which is very good as we know a lot give into fear.

Yes our Past Sins are forgiven after Heart Repentance but God’s Grace does not give us a license to continue sinning, although Jesus is our Advocate if we do Sin and Repent before we are Born Again and before our Carnal Flesh is put to death but when we are Perfected in Love we will no longer Sin, being Born Again of God’s Seed means we cannot Sin, we have His Nature not Adams, the Old has gone the New has come.

My understanding of that is that we should obey the Spirit rather than the flesh. By so doing, we become more and more like Christ.

The word of God tells us that sin shall not have dominion over us. But the temptations to commit sin are always and in our flesh we are succeptible to yield. I believe that’s why the Bible says we should walk in the spirit and we will not fulfill the desires of the flesh.

Victor I have shared many Scriptures that confirm we don’t go on Sinning when we are Perfected in Love because our Carnal flesh has been put to death and we have God’s Seed and cannot Sin.
We also need to read in Context too Victor and if you read all of (1John1 and John 2 and 3) you will see if we say we know God but walk in darkness we lie or if we don’t keep His Commandments we don’t know Him either.
If we say we don’t Sin so we don’t need Salvation which Atheists often do, yes we are calling God a liar but if He cleanses us from all Unrighteousness when we Repent, than we can’t Sin because we are conformed into the Image of Christ, good and evil cannot co -exist this is why we must put our Carnal flesh to death if we go on sinning than we will die spiritually.
Romans 8 :12-15 Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation but it is not to the Sinful nature, to live according to it. or if you live according to the Sinful nature, you will die but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body you will live because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
1 John 3: 6-8 whosoever abideth in Him Sinneth not: whosoever Sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him. Little Children, let no man deceive you he that doeth Righteousness is Righteous, even as He is Righteous.

There were no links Victor on the Scripture I shared in my Comments including on the Comments that went into Spam, it is being done deliberately by someone who has access to WordPress controls, it’s the same now on other Blogs when I comment.
What is not understood Victor is that it is our Carnal flesh that causes us to Sin when it is put to death and we are Perfected in Love, we no longer Sin which the Scripture I shared confirms very clearly. To reject Scripture for what others teach us or because of what we think, shows little Godly Wisdom.

On the issue of a Christian not sinning any more, I have my questions too. This is because even though the Bible says that he that is born of God doesn’t sin, I know that Christians still sin, although not deliberately most times. And God cannot lie!
My understanding of that Scripture is that my spirit cannot sin. And I can’t say the same of my flesh. That’s why the Bible also, He is just and faithful to forgive us when we sin. Thanks for all the quoted scriptures.

Once the Carnal flesh has been put to death, we are Born again of God’s Seed not Adams and we cannot Sin, we Trust and Believe God’s Truth in the Scriptures Victor and not our own understanding or what we have been taught in error. We must accept the Scriptures or we are calling God a liar, we can’t change them to gel with what we think they should say.

Aren’t we born again before we can put the canal flesh to death? It’s our spirit that is born again, not our flesh.
Of course, Anne. I know God cannot lie; the scripture is true. But at the same time no scripture should be taken in isolation.
Believers should not, but they do sin. But it is their flesh that sinned, not their spirit. We can see it in the following scriptures too ( 1 John 1):
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
