Goodbye Monty, our dear Furry Friend

Monty 01Today we said goodbye to our little Monty but he will always have a place in our hearts, his Kidneys gave up suddenly and he was suffering but now he no longer feels any pain and yes we are grieving for our little furry friend and will miss him greatly, the talks, the walks, the hugs and kissels over the years and of course Mo-Joe will miss him too, they were good friends.

Thank you all for your Loving support and prayers for Monty, yes we did indeed see some amazing answers during the last 3 years as shown in the links below, each time God gave our Monty some more time and for this we are very grateful.

Look at that sweet face! No wonder he captured your heart and leaves many wonderful memories with you. It is so sad. I look to Isaiah words there will be animals in heaven. (Any thoughts on that subject? I would love to hear when you get the chance.) Isaiah 65:25 – “The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but dust will be the serpent’s food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, says the LORD.” (Isaiah 11:6-9)

    • Yes Debbie, Monty was adorable and his expression changed with his mood but mostly he looked like the dog in the Picture above, I miss him greatly but when our Pets are in our hearts they are not far from us. I remember all my Pets that have passed on with much Love and often recall the things they did, yes they are a special gift from God.

But Animals don’t have souls like we do, Jesus did not die for them, they were created for our enjoyment and some are on the food chain, like sheep, cows, pigs or seafood etc some are for work related needs, such as trained dogs for those who are vision impaired or disabled, Draft Horses, Cattle dogs, Sleigh dogs etc

God tells us in His word Debbie ( see below ) that He will create a new Earth and Heavens and all will be Perfect, No Sin, other Scriptures also tell us there will be no tears, suffering or death, only Peace and Joy.

Isaiah 65 :17 For behold I create New Heavens and a New Earth and the former shall not be remembered nor come into mind.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth: for the first Heaven and the first Earth were passed away and there was no more sea.

2 Peter 3:7 But the Heavens and the Earth which are now by the same word are kept in store reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

2 Peter 3:10-14 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the Heavens shall pass away with a great noise and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the Earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved what manner of persons ought ye to be in all Holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the Heavens being on fire shall be dissolved and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we according to His promise look for new Heavens and a new Earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore beloved, seeing that ye look for such things be diligent that ye may be found of Him in Peace without Spot and blameless.

I think animals in heaven is an interesting topic. I have heard different viewpoints from different (mature) Christians. God used horses in Revelation and the end-times. So personally, I don’t know for sure, but I like to think so. (This is in contrast to when I hear people talk about the “Rainbow Bridge” for pets that have died.)

        • I will seek to condense my reply Debbie but it will need a lot more wordage than most comments.

It is wise Debbie that we seek God’s Truth because Christians sometimes present different views and as the Holy Spirit does not contradict someone is in error, this is why we are to Trust Jesus our only Teacher (Matthew 23:8-10) not a Man or a Woman to lead us into all Truth and what He shares with us will be confirmed in Scripture, Creation or both and they do not contradict.

Yes He may anoint someone else to share His Truth, Logic and Reasoning but He is our final Authority and as confirmed below He tells us all will be revealed by the empowering of the Holy Spirit. Corinthians 2:9-16 (KJV)

1John 2:26-28 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any Man teach you but as the same anointing Teacheth you of all things and is Truth, and is no lie and even as it hath Taught you, ye shall abide in Him.(KJV)

Matthew 10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed and hid that shall not be known. (KJV)

Do all Animals go to Heaven Debbie, the Scripture confirms No or those who are left like Christians would be Raptured or as called in Scripture; at the First Sickle they would be taken with Christians to Heaven but this is not confirmed in Scripture and logic also shows this is impossible.

All Animals are of one kind meaning they are not Created in the likeness of God, they are not under the Law and punished for sinning like Humans are when they don’t have the free gift of Salvation in Christ Jesus. Their D.N.A even in their particular kind is also different from ours and even though we have tamed some, billions plus have died over the years some being our food but when God creates the New Earth, Scripture confirms as you shared, there will be Animals too and they will no longer eat each other but they will eat food.

In Heaven we know we do not eat food like we do on earth, it will no longer exist or our Stomachs, (1Corintians 6:13) we are like the Angels but Humans are sometimes referred to in Scripture as Sheep or Goats and sometimes Dogs too, the Beast we know will be a Man and there is reference to strange Animal like beings in Heaven and yes Horses too but they are not like the Animals on earth that we know although like us and the Angels they are Created beings but once again God tells us their D.N.A is also different from earthy beings including our Animals and Pets.

1 Corinthians 15:38-40a But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased Him, and to every seed His own body. All flesh is not the same flesh but there is one kind of flesh of Men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes and another of birds. There is also Celestial bodies and bodies Terrestrial…..(KJV)

Thanks for taking the time (and effort) to compose a detailed response! As a side note: I think that oftentimes there is a difference of opinion among Christians because (as I heard over and over in my Revelation study): “All Scripture is equally true, but not all Scripture is equally clear!”

            • That is why Debbie we depend on the Holy Spirit for understanding as Jesus leads us into all Truth as confirmed in the Scripture below and not a Man or Woman regardless of who they are but like you I’m still learning and sometimes I have had to wait on the Lord for answers too but I no longer rush ahead and accept what others tell me unless confirmed in Scripture without a doubt as God’s Truth.

1 Corinthians 2:9-16 But as it is written; Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that Love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man but the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world but the Spirit which is of God that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God which things also we speak not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth but which the Holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual things with Spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness unto him neither can he know them because they are Spiritually discerned. But he that is Spiritual judgeth all things yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the Mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him? but we have the Mind of Christ.

Thank you Debbie for your Loving response to my comment on your last Post, you are a very Special Christian Woman that I Thank God for.

We are to use Scripture to explain Scripture! I am so glad that we can have a discussion about the “details” of our faith. We will always agree on the essentials and the doctrines of our faith as we explore Scripture together!

                • Yes Debbie very True, we can use Scripture to explain Scripture, including the Old Testament with the New and vise versa but only True understanding comes after we are empowered by The Holy Spirit having asked for God’s Wisdom and believing we have received it, other wise it is only man’s fleshy wisdom logic and reasoning, regardless of how much worldly training they have had or their position and Title, which is confirmed in (1 Corinthians 2:9-16)
