Satan’s Communication Break-down

NO CommunicationSilence is not always golden it can harbor bitterness and resentment and lack of communicating can cause misunderstandings and even lead to Separation and if Married to Divorce too.

Satan is the mastermind behind Communication break-down, God does not tell us to repress our feelings when we are hurting but to seek to resolve them, even anger needs to be expressed so what is causing it can be dealt with but some bottle up their feelings which leads to resentment, bitterness and seeking revenge.

Communicatio Gap
Luke 17:3-5 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. And the Apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.KJV

Matthew 5:23-24 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother and then come and offer thy gift.KJV

Another one of Satan’s Communication break down strategies is wearing a Mask when we are upset, so yes if we are happy we express it and share it, but when we are upset we don’t need to wear a mask, being real gives others the freedom to be real too, we show Love and Compassion when others are hurting as the Scriptures confirm.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.KJV

Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.KJV

Romans 12:15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. KJV

We can have deep inner Joy and still have a tear in our eye, Jesus showed great emotion on the Cross, in Truth He always showed His emotions, He was not Happy Clappy, like some Hollywood movies show, He knew the heart of man and that many would perish Eternally and this grieved Him greatly, yes He cried and I’m sure much more than once.

Jesus was known as a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, He was not pleasant to the eye, there was nothing to attract people to Him, His teaching was sometimes hard, direct and to the point, He didn’t play the worlds popularity games and yet many followed Him, He wasn’t Happy Clappy but He was Loving, Compassionate, Merciful, Forgiven, and Understanding, yes He cried with people, He deeply cared for them, He stood up for His Father, He was real, He got angry, He showed disappointment and frustration.

Many people Laugh and Joke but are hiding their True feelings, it has been said … Laugh and the world Loves with you cry and you cry alone, Jesus tells us the opposite …He says; Come to Me….

Matthew 11:28 – 30 Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of Me for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find rest unto your souls, for my yoke is easy, and My burden is light KJV.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”KJV

If we do experience negative emotions, we don’t pretend we haven’t got them and put on a Happy face to please others or they may lead to anxiety, fear, depression or Sin. Emotions are God given, they are not Sin only the ones that come from Sin.

God tells us not to be angry without just cause, yes we can be angry about things like injustice, evil, victimization etc but if it is for other fleshy reasons, we are to resolve our anger by recognizing what is causing it so it does not lead to bondage and evil by giving Satan a foothold and this is the same with all our negative emotions, like fleshy fear or needless worry, we need to resolve them, not to repress them or seek to desensitize them.

We take our negative emotions to Jesus, He knows they are a heavy burden and will weigh us down, they are not something to laugh about, He does not take them lightly, He lifts the load off by helping us work through them and to resolve the conflict they cause in our lives.

When we suffer pain, we can show it, sometimes what causes our anxiety, depression or fear is physical not Spiritual. To rejoice in the Lord is not about being Happy Clappy, although we don’t grieve as the World does because we have God’s Eternal Hope but we still miss Loved ones, if we don’t we didn’t Love them in our hearts, the Disciples longed for Jesus’ return as we do too, in remembrance there is sometimes tears.

Thank you for taking the time to read, Love and many blessing now and for the future – Anne.

Annie, I love the Psalms because of their raw emotions. I think the psalmists are a good example of what to do with our anger, sadness, helplessness, etc. We take those burdens to God and by doing so, we are filled with praise for Him. (The Psalms evolve as God turns their focus from their worldly circumstances to God’s heavenly riches for us.) Jesus is the perfect relationship-builder, isn’t He?!!!!!

    • Thanks Debbie for sharing and yes Jesus is the perfect relationship-builder because He knows our hearts and understands our needs and we remember although He was known as a Man of Sorrows and acquainted with grief, He still had deep inner Joy in knowing the Love of His Father and so do we regardless of our circumstances.

Of course we are not Happy Clappy when we suffer pain and hardship or when others do, as the Scripture in my Post confirms we are to comfort each other, even cry in Compassion with those who are hurting and to help carry their burdens and not do as some tell them, which is to smile because they should have the Joy of The Lord, this is something we can have even with tears in our eyes, yes there is a time for everything even to cry.

Praise that comes from the heart to God, is heard in Heaven even if not by others.

It is in everyday life where people argue or disagree. Lack of communication cause so much trouble, I am trying to communicate by going to see my sister over the next couple of nights. I have been praying earnestly about my discussions over the next couple of days. I know God is with me in my journey and will be praying on my way down. Great post and well timed

  4. Everyone who is married has times when they argue or disagree, it’s part of the growing closer process, but like the good book says “Never let the sun go down on your anger” I alway make a point of saying sorry before going to bed, whether it was my fault or not
Thank you Anne for continuing to share with us readers

    • Thank you for visiting and sharing Graham and it is True as you said; there is always conflict in Marriage, that is until we have been Perfected in God’s Love, which we are to aim for.

But yes until than our Carnal flesh gets in the way just as Paul shared in Romans 7 but thankfully he also tells us what needs to be done about it in Romans 8 and in other Scriptures.

We all like Paul need to accept responsibility for the wrong we do so we can come to Heart Repentance or we never will and so the conflict will continue… Jesus never claimed to be guilty for the wrong we did, He bore our Sin as an innocent Man and this is why He could Redeem us.

As we know Graham, to believe in Jesus means we are acknowledging our Sin and Repenting of it, believing that He is our Lord and Saviour and through Him we are forgiven and set free from the Slavery of Sin, so we are able to choose to turn away from evil and do good by The Spirit’s empowering.

      “Christ”ian Love Always – Anne.
