God Reaches out to Us in the Storms of Life

StormWhat I’m going to share with you now may seem amazing to some but it really did happen as have other Miracles and Signs and Wonders in my life even before I knew Jesus as my Lord and Saviour but He of course knew me. But first I will share what lead up to our wonderful God of Love and Mercy reaching out to me in my Storm.

Recently I have been going through a very worrying, heartbreaking time in my Life,I hope to be able to explain fully one day when lead by The Lord to do so. It’s been hard to concentrate even on my basic living needs, although I have been seeking again to catch up on your Posts that I have missed and with those who have joined up with me, there are many more to go, so please forgive me if I am slow in responding.

During last week with feeling very upset, I was also annoyed that the Kitchen Tap was leaking, the constant dripping was just too much on top of my other problems and I cried out to God for help, straight away the Tap stopped dripping, I was amazed and kept checking but it didn’t drip for the next two days.

Than on Friday we had widespread Storms and the back and side yards were flooded, this frightened me as the previous flooding in our Area had caused a lot of havoc and personal danger to all of us and once again the Storm was raging and the Weather forecast was a warning that it would continue flooding all Weekend and to take the necessary precautions.

I never hear God’s voice audibly but I do in my Spirit as I’m sure others do too and yes His voice is recognizable and this time He told me He would Stop the Storms before the Weekend and He did despite the predicted Weather Forecast, apart from some wind it hasn’t rained since and thankfully too the water has now soaked into the ground, Our God is indeed greater than all Man’ reckonings.

I wrote on a piece of paper the time God talked to me on Friday and what He had told me and I showed it later that day to a Christian friend after sharing about the dripping Tap. I felt it was God’s way of showing me He was close and that I would not have to go through what was ahead alone, He would be with me giving me the strength to endure and would bring a good outcome out of it too.

My friend had texted me earlier and these were the words that were shared….

“God parted the Red Sea for a whole Nation, Calmed the Sea for a few Disciples, even stopped a dripping Tap for Annie, I’m sure He has your situation under Control just ask Him.”

I have asked God what must be done to remove the heavy load that I’m now experiencing in my life, yes I’m to Trust Him as confirmed in the Scripture below and to ask you all to Pray for His good will to be done, He always knows best.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I Am The LORD, your GOD, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a Future and a Hope.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the Children of Men.

Matthew 11:28 -30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Thanking you in advance for your Loving Prayer Support – Anne.

        • Yes Debbie there are some very Special encouraging Brothers and Sisters in the blogosphere but sadly some who are also deceived or uninformed, confused Christians and of course some are Cult members too and they can all be very rude and unloving, I hope you don’t encounter them.

          Blessings – Anne.

I’ve been blessed to have only encountered Brothers and Sisters. But I’ve meet many very lost, precious souls. I pray somehow I can be an encouragement to them – by my comments and following them….and maybe something they read in our blog. We mainly now share our travels but I pray to insert something from the Lord in each post that He might use.

            • I’m pleased Debbie that you have not had problems, many do when they share God’s Truth and not just with Blogging but Christian Blogs are hacked the most.

I hope to visit your Blog in the coming week and spend some time getting to know you both, Thanks again for visiting and sharing.

              Blessings – Anne.

Thanks Anne! Our blog began as a marriage blog, and always centered on the Lord. We’re now traveling so I “sneak” God’s Word in every post in some way. Many followers are not believers. So praying God is at work!

Annie, In John, Jesus reminds us that we will have trouble in our lives. However, the key phrase is “I have overcome.” God in His mercy encourages us by providing the miracle that defies human reasoning: your tap stopped leaking and the forecast was wrong. Annie, you are an overcomer because Jesus is our overcomer. I pray that God will lead you to share your story (of recent trouble) at the perfect time, so that we, your blog readers (and friends!) can be strengthened in our faith! John 16:33 – “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

    • Yes dear Debbie Jesus did say we would have Trouble in our lives, which we see very much so in the Apostle Paul’s life and many have been Martyred for following Jesus over the years and we may be too if Jesus does not come back before but as we have both shared we are not alone He is with us and even before we are perfected in Love, God knows those who are His.

As for sharing Debbie about my Problems at this time; I’m Trusting in God for His will to be done and for His prompting to do so but your prayers are greatly appreciated.

Oh! my friend it is a trying time, no words can describe what you have been going through. I just wrote a prayer for my mother. I will share it with you and hope it brings a smile to your face. It would be my Mum’s birthday today if she was still alive. She passed away June 14 1993.

There is a love that reaches to the heavens
Faithfulness that stretches to the skies
Your unfailing love, I have taken refuge in your shadow
You are our God, Lord, I and many turned our hearts to You
Join us Lord, grant us Your Spirit
Your word is a blessing, I have searched Your word
Praise the Lord, for his word, it is given us in the Spirit of Jesus Christ
Your had stretches out all over the world
You have shown me the new age of truth in the word
I feel the peace that comes from Your heart
We pray to You In the Name of Jesus Christ
You will hear me as I pray to You
I feel the Joy as my prayers are answered
Be with us Lord as we gather in Your Spirit

    In Jesus Name Amen

It’s always a great joy to be reminded that our Father cares about just every need we have, including the very details of our lives.
He will do it again and again. He’s never tired or out of options.
I pray for you that He will show up and take that burden right off your shoulders.
    Bless you Anne.

Dear Anne, great testimony! I’d like to say a prayer for you. “Father I thank you for the wonderful relationship that Anne shares with you and for the way you have been working in her life. I pray for her to be able to keep her mind set on you and your word as you take care of her burdens and loads that are upon her. I pray for an abundance of revelation of your word to her and for comfort, peace and joy within her and her family. In Jesus name, I rebuke the work of the enemy that comes to steal kill and destroy and proclaim the fullness of the life of God upon her. Thank you for loving her unconditionally. Amen”
