This Sunday we celebrate Mother’s Day in Australia for Mums who are to wonderful to forget but I would like to say Thank you to Mums all over the World who give unconditional Love and Sacrifice for their Children….
Thank you, Your awesome!
I received the Message below from a Friend who believes being a Mum is the most fulfilling Occupation a Woman can have, I don’t know who the Author is but I’m sure many Mums like her would express the same heart felt thoughts; that it is a wonderful blessing that they give thanks for daily.
.
Before I was a Mum…
I slept as late as I wanted and never worried about
how late I got into bed.
I brushed my hair and my teeth everyday.
Before I was a Mum…
I cleaned my house each day.
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn’t worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mum…
I had never been puked on. Pooped on.
Spit on. Chewed on. Or peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
I never held down a screaming Child so that doctors could do tests.
Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mum…
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn’t want to put it down.
I never felt my heart-break into a million pieces when I couldn’t stop the hurt. I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could Love someone so much.
I never knew I would Love being a Mum.
I didn’t know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn’t know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn’t know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy. I didn’t know that bond between a Mother and her Child.
Before I was a Mum…
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay I had never known the warmth, The joy, The love,
The heartache, The wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mum.
I didn’t know I was capable of feeling so much…
Before I was a Mum.
Behind every successful Mother…
Is a basket full of Pride and Joy and many Prayers.
.
Precious! Thank you.

I love how God uses the role of mums everywhere to show His love for us: Isaiah 66:13, “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.” There are so many ways to be a mum in the world, including spiritual mums (mentors) to those younger than us!)

As we know Debbie a Mother’s Love comes from the Heart not the womb, I have over the years and still do have other People’s Children in my life who have touched my heart with their Love and given me much Joy.
Yes I’m also very blessed to have Spiritual Children of all ages and no doubt Debbie you have too. God’s Truth is very Powerful and does not return to Him without Eternal results.

Wow Debbie you touch my heart so much with you Loving words, being Grannie Annie to many Children as I shared before gives me much Joy and also being a Mother to my Spiritual Children but you give me Hope as well when you share from your heart and from the Scriptures, I look so forward to your messages and your comments, I guess just like a Mum does to her Children’s words of encouragement.
Although my Computer crashed Debbie I was able to save your Posts that I missed commenting on and some other Bloggers messages too and will be seeking to catch up in the near future.

God I’m sure Bj gave us our Pets as a wonderful gift of Love but as you would agree, Children must always come first in our hearts, like us they are of a higher order and so are Redeemed through the Blood of Christ when they accept Salvation believing in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and understanding right from wrong.
