Over the years I have received many Story e-mails some with good Teaching and some with not so good and these included Cult Teaching, False Teaching and quiet a few also had noticeable error in their Teaching even though they were from Christians but sometimes I received ones that really touched my heart, like the one below called “Armed with Prayer” and others that I have also shared with you since I started Blogging.
I’m not always able to find out who the Author is which was the same with Armed with Prayer but they are very much inspired by God and I’m very uplifted and encouraged by them and I hope you have been too and will continue to be by those that I share now and in the future. I would love to be able to thank the Authors but I know God will do this for their Faithfulness.
Armed with Prayer
A Missionary returning home from Africa, was sharing his Story with his Church Family .
While serving at a small field Hospital, every two weeks I traveled through the Countryside to a nearby City for supplies…
This was a journey of two days and required Camping overnight at the halfway point.
On one of these journeys, I arrived in the city where I planned to collect money from a Bank, purchase Medicine and Supplies, and then begin my two-day journey back to the field Hospital. Upon arrival in the City, I observed two Men fighting, one of whom had been seriously injured.
I treated him for his injuries and at the same time I talked to him about the Lord.
I then traveled two days, Camping overnight, and arrived home without incident. Two weeks later I repeated my journey.
Upon arriving in the City, I was approached by the young man I had treated. He told me that he had known I carried money and medicines. He said, ‘Some friends and I followed you into the jungle, knowing you would Camp overnight.
We planned to kill you and take your money and drugs…
But just as we were about to move into your Camp, we saw that you were surrounded by 26 armed Guards.
At this I laughed and said that I was certainly all alone in that jungle Campsite.
The young man pressed the point however, and said… ‘No sir, I was not the only person to see the Guards. My five friends also saw them, and we all counted them. It was because of those Guards that we were afraid and left you alone.'”
At this point in the Sermon, one of the men in the Congregation jumped to his feet and interrupted the Missionary and asked if he could tell him the exact day this happened.
The Missionary told the Congregation the date, and the man who interrupted told him this story…
“On the night of your incident in Africa, it was morning here and I was preparing to go and play golf. I was about to putt when I felt the urge to Pray for you…
In fact, the urging of the Lord was so strong, I called Men in this Church to meet with me here in the Sanctuary to Pray for you.
Would all of those Men who met with me on that day stand up?” The Men who had met together to Pray that day stood up…
The Missionary wasn’t concerned with who they were, he was too busy counting how many Men he saw…
THERE WERE 26!
.
Brothers and Sisters in The Body of Christ we need each other, yes the Battle is The Lords but He uses us to reach out in Love to a Hurting World, to His lost Redeemed Children and to each other when we are in need….He also asks us; who will Stand Up for Him against evil.
Psalm 94:16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?(KJV)
Thank you for taking the time to read, I hope you were as Blessed as I was by Armed with Prayer….. Christian Love Always – Anne.

Yes Caleb Amazing!!! but than our God is God of the impossible even if some put Him in a box of their own understanding and than claim He does not Intervene Miraculously today, sadly Spiritual Shortsightedness is even in some Churches today.

So True Caleb and some are Spiritually deaf too, or they hear but don’t understand, they don’t have God’s Wisdom and Empowering, they haven’t asked for them or they keep asking not believing they have received them.

Annie, God is patient with us, but make no mistake about it, God can not tolerate sin! There are always consequences to sin. First and foremost, sin will harm our relationship with God and with others.
As for your first question: when we love God, we want to stop sinning. John 14:21, “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.” Walking in obedience matures our faith and reveals more of Jesus in our lives.
We are forgiven sinners and do not have to fear the final judgment. However, we will have to give an account of what we did with what God gave us. 1 Corinthians 3:11-15, “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer
loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.” So in other words, I don’t want to smell like smoke when I get to heaven. (I heard that phrase over 20 years ago from someone else in a Bible study and have not forgotten it!)
As for your second question, “Is sinning ok?” Sinning is never a ok! Forgiveness of our sins and the promise of heaven is freedom to serve God today without hindrance or fear. Psalm 119:32, “I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free.” Romans 6:22, “But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.”
We know what God has saved us from and has saved us to!

Thank you Debbie and very True what you shared, sin is the reason God tells us to put our Carnal flesh to death as we aim to be perfected in Love, until we do we are not a fit vessel for the good works He has prepared in advance for us to do.
2 Timothy 2:19-21 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, let every one that nameth the Name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the Master’s use and prepared unto every good work.
See you soon – Blessings – Anne.

We are only a fit vessel as the Scripture confirms Debbie when we are Perfected in Love having put our Carnal flesh to death (Romans 8 :12-15- Romans 6 – Colossians 3:4-6 -Galatians 5:24 -26) and being Born again of God’s seed, we will than be in this World as Jesus is and have no fleshy fear. If we have Jesus righteousness we will show we have.
2 Timothy 3: 17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for Doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the Man and Woman of God may be Perfect and thoroughly equiped to do all His good works.
1John 3: 7 Little Children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.
1 John 4:17-19 Herein is our Love made Perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is so are we in this world. There is no fear in Love; but perfect Love casteth out fear because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made Perfect in Love. We Love Him, because He first Loved us. KJV.
1 John 3:9 No one who is Born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been Born of God.

Annie, I have often thought of the times that God has protected me from harm when I didn’t even know I was in danger. The story you shared reminds us of the power of prayer and God’s hand of protection on our lives. God goes before, beside, and behind us! Before us: Deuteronomy 31:8 – “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Beside us: Psalm 125:2 – “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forever more.” Behind us: Psalm 139:5 – “You hem me in behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.”

Thank you Debbie for the wonderful reassuring Scripture and yes I should not be alive today either God’s Love, Grace and Mercy has saved me much more that once too but I was wondering what does it mean to you to be a Child of our Abba Father? do you feel that regardless of what evil we do without repentance it’s OK because we are forgiven even to death.
Yes God protects our Souls until we are Perfected in Love which is of the Spirit not the Carnal flesh, we are to put this to death, it causes us to sin but do you believe Debbie that continuing to sin is OK? God tells us we won’t sin when we are Perfected in Love and Born Again and He also tells us He knows those who are His own and that we will walk in Righteousness as Jesus did on this earth, yes we will be made Spotless before we die He promises us we will. This Teaching is confirmed very much in Scripture but not in the Churches today but it was before.
Thank you again Debbie, I value you greatly, you are indeed a Godly woman seeking Him with all your heart, with all your all.
