One of my favorite things is giving and receiving Christmas Cards, this year after praying about what verse I would add to those I was giving, I found myself thinking about Stars, yes Jesus’ Star that the Wise Men followed and also other Stars that Shine and Sparkle in the night but there was even more, my thoughts kept returning to us Shining in the darkness of this World. A friend gave me a packet of Christmas Cards that she thought I may like to use and once again they confirmed this message, as did some Blogs and Websites I visited last week.
I than found some Scripture that not only confirmed this Truth again for me but also mentioned something else that is very important , the verses I found are below and I included one of them in my Christmas Cards and also a Sparkling Star or a bookmark that has the word Sparkle on it and yes it Shines and Sparkles too and so do we when Jesus is within us!
Daniel 12:3 And they that be Wise shall Shine as the brightness of the firmament and they that turn many to Righteousness as the Stars for ever and ever (KJV)
Matthew 13:43 Then shall the Righteous Shine forth as the Sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. (KJV)
Philippians 2:15-16 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons (daughters) of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse Nation, among whom ye Shine as Lights in the World; Holding forth the Word of Life. (KJV)
Matthew 5:15-16 Neither do men light a Candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a Candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your Light so Shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in Heaven. (KJV)
This Christmas and Always we wish you all the illuminating Light of Jesus’ Truth so that you will overflow with His deep inner Love, Hope, Joy and Peace.
Christ -Mass Blessings from both of us – Anne.
Keep Sparkling!

Yes Anne stars have an important role , to shine brightly . Wouldn`t the heavens look awful if the stars were not shining bright at night . So too we are called to be the light of Christ in a sin darkened world . wouldn`t it be awful if there was no Christ Light to be seen .?
Blessings
Ron.

Yes it would be awful Love if there was no Christ Light to be seen but it won’t be long before it’s a reality, we of course will be Raptured if we are still alive but how sad for those who rejected Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, they will suffer Eternally.

You included one of my favorite “shining star” verses with Philippians 2:15-16. I always liked the part about, “in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life.” We are commanded to shine and to hold out the word of life! It is a beautiful picture of who we have become in Jesus Christ! Merry Christmas!

Yes Debbie we are Righteous in Christ Jesus and we will show we are Righteous too, and not just some of the time but all of the time.
Are you going on Holidays Debbie or are you having a quiet Christmas at home?

Annie, we will be home! It will be quiet on Christmas Day with our family celebration on Saturday. (When the kids get married or attached, they have two Christmases to celebrate!) We have Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas with our kids.
What about you and Ron? Quiet or big family gathering? Church on Christmas Eve? However you celebrate, I know you will be reflecting on God’s best gift to us: Jesus Christ!

Just a quite Christmas Debbie, starting tomorrow with Ron’s Grandson Nick, we are going to have Christmas Lunch together and than everyday till Sunday which is my Birthday we will be Celebrating Jesus’ Birthday with either family or friends.
I Love Christmas but I have had some lonely ones in the past so I always feel for those who have nobody and wish more could be done for them, how wonderful for those who have Church families who Love and care for them.
Blessings – Anne.
