About Freedomborn
My name is Anne although some call me Grannie Annie especially Children whom I share with in my Funday School . I live in Queensland Australia.
I’m very much a People person believing we are all People of worth and unique, so I have much Joy in sharing with people personally and over the Internet.
My main focus in life is my wonderful Friendship with Jesus Christ, without Him everything else would be meaningless, I have deep heartfelt thanks and appreciation that I'm a Spiritual Child of The King of Kings and I seek to share with others how truly wonderful that is with the hope they too will realize the same and be set free now.
What sounds like a noise to others when we sing, is beautiful to God, He hears the Melody of our Heart not the Notes from our Vocal cords.
So let’s shout to The Lord all the Earth, Let us Sing and Praise The King!

That’s why I sit at the front Caleb and I find I end up with the front seats all to myself too, there is a blessing in everything.
I will be over to respond to your reply tomorrow, many Blessings for Christmas and the New Year -Anne.

Thats funny. I never though about sitting all the way to the front 🙂

Well Caleb I thought it was better than them all having to move from the back seats when I start singing, usually the front seats are empty, well they sure are now except for me.
Keep singing Caleb it teaches others tolerance Lol
Annie knows!

LOL!!!! That so funny! I have a friend that once asked me why I can’t just lip sing? It is true singing feels you with joy and it is a great form of praise.

Very True Caleb Praising God when it comes from the Heart does fill us with Joy, does your Church have God’s balance with the songs they sing? some don’t.

We share the same singing expertise! 😉 I always tell people I took God literally when He said to sing a joyful noise, “noise” being the key word when I sing!! lol But you know to God we all sound like angels when we sing our praises to Him! I love to sing too and I often remember one lady in church who also loved to sing but did not have the talent for singing, but she did not care. She sang loudly and with joy and sounded better than the most experienced singer. Since then I think of Evelyn W every time I sing loudly my praises to our Lord and King.

Yes so True Patty, singing to The Lord from our Hearts is a joyful sound even if we can’t remember all the words, I put my own in when needed and yes they fit.
Are you going to Post for Christmas Patty ? you have such a wonderful Focus and the same as Debbie, you write with your heart too.
Many Blessings dear friend and may the Wonder of Christmas fill you with all God’s Love, Hope and Joy until your overflowing.

About your singing Anne, you don’t have to ‘cell’ us we are only tunefully aware of your limitations. As you don’t want ‘dischord ‘ don’t give up your day Job!
Cheers
Ron.

Being off Key Ron is not the worst thing to have wrong with you, I could have other limitations like a bad memory than I wouldn’t remember the Notes either, which reminds me I never do when I go shopping!
Annie’s lost the plot!

Annie, You have a great sense of humor! I am going to have to quote you whenever I describe my singing ability: “prisoner singer!” (At first, I thought your post would be about joy in suffering when Paul and Silas sang in prison, Acts 16, but that can be another whole post! :))

Wow Debbie, I didn’t know Paul and Silas couldn’t sing either, you really know a lot about everything don’t you, your always in tune with what’s going on. Well at least I I will be in good company even if the accommodation is a bit lacking and I’m sure the evening meal won’t be Ala-Cart but I will just tune out, I don’t like discord.
Annie’s off Key again!

Annie, I don’t know about Paul and Silas’s singing talent (from a musician’s perspective.) I guess I never thought about it as I figured it was the most beautiful sound in the world since they were singing out of joy for Christ in their hearts. Some how, I think you knew where I was coming from: prison, singing and the Bible story about Paul and Silas.
But I am glad you were able to indulge your sense of humor with all the play on musical terms in your response! 🙂

Debbie you are indeed a good Sport, yes it was just a play on words, Ron and I do it a lot especially with the humorous Posts, Ron is very cleaver, I follow his lead.
I’m missing your Posts Debbie, I know it’s Christmas and time is short but you have a great focus which I enjoy, perhaps you could share a few of your older links with me.
Have you tried sending another e-mail to me Debbie?, I received Patty’s and a few other e-mails from Bloggers without any problems.

We could be Identical Twins when it comes to understanding Technology Debbie, I’m still working out my Toaster and Jug, anyway all is well that ends well, I will respond to your Post when I receive it tomorrow.
A helpful Tip…. To stop the jug from boiling you have to turn it off!
Annie got it right!

Smiling… Yep, we would be able to pick each other out at church: the ones singing off-key and getting frustrated with technology.

From observation Debbie we are not the only ones that have these, let’s say idiosyncrasies, so we may get confused trying to find each other, perhaps we need to carry something or wear something to be recognizable, any suggestions ?

Maybe the old CRT monitors around our necks to show that we are old school? Or simply smiles on our faces to show that we are lifelong learners. Or at least the joy of the Lord bubbling out of us! What do you say?!!!

Well Debbie as we know we can have the inner Joy of the Lord even with tears in our eyes, so it’s not about being Happy Clappy all the time, it’s an assurance of who we are in Him, so perhaps instead as you suggested old CRT monitors around our necks, or better still a quill and ink, now that’s really old School.
Blessings – Anne.

I’m tone deaf T but I love to sing and I often do and others are so kind in Church they give me plenty of room to do so, most of the time I have all the front seats to myself 😆
But the Children in my Funday School just love to sing and dance, I’m limited with my feet but the Children keep me going and they even enjoy my Singing, Wow! and all my actions too and it’s so good to hear them singing Jesus loves me, when their playing with their friends or on their way School.
