Today’s Thinking Riddle for us Seniors, if we don’t use it we’ll loose it…..
.
Here is the situation…..
We are on a Horse, galloping at a constant speed.
On our right side is a sharp drop-off.
On our left side is an Elephant catching up with us.
Directly in front of us is a galloping Kangaroo and our Horse is
unable to overtake it.
The Ostrich is not a problem she is just drifting along.
But behind us is a Lion running at the same speed as us and the Kangaroo.
.
What must we do to get out of this highly dangerous situation?
.
We need to Think Logically.
And Keep Thinking
.
Got it!
We quietly all get off the Merry go-round and go on Home….Hmmmm of course we wait until it Stops first.
Thankfully as Seniors we have life wisdom and if we ask for it God’s wisdom too, which is for any age and yes we do indeed know how to get out of tight spots and change them when needed.

Why you failed the Test dear Debbie is because your not a Senior yet, don’t worry you will have this Joy one day unless Jesus comes back first but than Prophesy still has to be fulfilled so there is still time, I will pray time goes fast for you so you don’t miss out.

All right, I will be young today and ignore the bifocals I wear (no lines transition of course!) and the creaks I hear in my body as I get out of my chair. Hahaha!
I want Jesus to come back soon, but there are still loved ones that I am praying for to know Jesus. The more we mature in our faith, the more anxious we are for people to know Jesus!

Now a serious question: People ask what age will we be in heaven. I don’t think it will matter because we will be in heaven! Any thoughts or Scripture that you know of that looks into this?

In reference to age in Heaven, we remember we are not of the flesh but of the Spirit, having been Born Again on Earth and having God’s seed (1John3:9) we are One in Christ Jesus and Perfected in Love, having the mind of Christ we walk as He walks, but time will not be as we know it on earth as an example we see Time below as it is now Under Heaven but not in it…….
Ecclesiastes 3: 3-8 To every thing there is a Season and a time to every purpose Under the Heaven: A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill and a time to heal; a time to break down and a time to build up; A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get and a time to lose; a time to keep and a time to cast away; A time to rend and a time to sew; a time to keep silence and a time to speak; A time to Love and a time to hate; a time of war and a time of peace.(KJV)
Below we see that the things of earth such as a Time for everything is different in Heaven and in the New Earth…….
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away.
Isaiah 65 17 For behold I create new Heavens and a New earth and the former shall not be remembered nor come into mind.
I believe Debbie that my 7 Babies that died and are now in Heaven like all little Children who are under grace, I will know them in The Spirit but not in the flesh, so as you shared age won’t matter.

Annie, Thank you for your thoughtful response with Scriptures. Another Scripture to add would be Ecclesiastes 3:11:”He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” I love pondering the phrase, “set eternity in the hearts of men.”
I agree wholeheartedly with you that the spirit is more important than the “body” in heaven. The question about age comes from thinking about the resurrection bodies we are clothed with.
When Jesus was resurrected, the disciples were able to see and touch the nail holes as Jesus’s scars were part of His resurrection body.
Some Scriptures are:
1 Corinthians 15:40: “There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.”
1 Corinthians 15:42-44: “So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.”
2 Corinthians 5:4: “For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.”
Perhaps, it is another mystery of God that won’t be fully revealed until we are in heaven! And another reason to look forward to the eternal glory in the presence of our God!

What is the Mystery you don’t understand Debbie? our resurrected Bodies are not like our bodies now, yes as you said too, they are of the Spirit, for one thing we won’t eat as Paul tells us in (1Corinthians 6:13) and we won’t Marry or have Children, we won’t get sick, we won’t have pain or cry and we won’t die.
What may help you to understand Debbie, is what we will know on earth now as Christians, which is confirmed in the Scriptures below……..

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are Spiritually discerned. 1 John 2:26-28 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man Teach you but as the same anointing Teacheth you of all things and is Truth and is no lie and even as it hath taught you ye shall abide in Him.
John 16:13 -15. Howbeit when He The Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth for He shall not speak of Himself but whatsoever He shall hear that shall He speak and He will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for He shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine therefore said I; that He shall take of mine and shall shew it unto you.
Matthew 10:26-28 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed and hid that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness that speak ye in light and what ye hear in the ear that preach ye upon the housetops (KJV)

Annie, There are many mysteries of God that I do not understand at this point in the flesh. Regardless, I trust Him!
Romans 11:33-36: Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?” “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay him?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.

I am also still learning Debbie as Jesus our only Teacher leads us into all understanding through the empowering of The Holy Spirit. I remember a Pastor many years ago saying to me; “God will use what you have and give you what you need” and this has been very True and continues to be.

Strange Debbie, the Minister who said this to me didn’t remember saying it when I mentioned it to him later, I shared this with a Christian friend and she felt it was The Holy Spirit reassuring me and yes this has happened more than once since but God also tells us He uses the foolishness of Preaching too, His Truth is very powerful.

Hi again Debbie, so good you can overlook your aging body, I seem to take mine everywhere I go, I did go out without it one day but than I woke up!
Seriously Debbie in regard to our Loved ones Eternal Destiny, only God knows this and that is why He tells us not to judge because they may come to heart repentance on their death bed and if they are known by God as His they will because of the good seeds that have been planted in their lives but of course they won’t have any rewards but they will escape the flames.
If those we Love don’t go to Heaven, we will not know because as God tells us there is no sorrow in Heaven and if we knew they had gone to Hell in the Lake of Fire to suffer for Eternity, we would grieve.

Which is why what we do and say NOW and TODAY matter so much for all of eternity! May we have an increased sensitivity and urgency to reach others with the life-giving and life-saving power of the Gospel!

Yes very True Debbie but we will only reach those that God knows as His own from Eternity and He knows us and them by His foreknowledge of our hearts repentance which shows we believe in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and so God chose us and them to be conformed into the image of Jesus and not one of us will be lost but those in the world who are lost for Eternity, we will have no memory of in Heaven.
When we Love someone Debbie it is not hard to talk about them as you know, we even get our brag books out , the Bible is my Brag Book and yes yours too, I Love to talk about our Awesome Godhead, no one has to tell me to do it and I can see it is the same with you Debbie.
When Jesus told the Disciples to wait for Pentecost and pray, He knew they would be empowered by the Holy Spirit to go into all the World and Preach the Gospel and yes they did so willingly and with Power but if someone rejected the Truth, they wiped the dust off their sandles and moved on. We won’t reach everyone Debbie but we will reach some but than even one sinner who repents causes a Celebration in Heaven.

Like you Debbie as I shared before, I believe when we are known by God as His own from Eternity we can’t loose our Salvation, if we could He would not have chosen us to be conformed into the image of Jesus by His foreknowledge of our hearts repentance, which shows we believe in Jesus a our Lord and Saviour and yes He tells us that not one of us will be lost and we will indeed show we are saved and He will also affirm we are in our hearts by The Holy Spirit.

And here I thought the lion would eventually wear down the kangaroo, for things are never as they seem…………and while the king of the forest enjoyed his lunch………the horse and elephant slowly walked by having no issue whatsoever as they enjoyed the serendipitous death of another to secure their safety.
And they lived happily ever after…….well, at least for a while longer.

Seriously thank you for defending me on your Blog ColorStorm in response to Ark and John, it was appreciated and shows good Character but I do feel since you didn’t respond to my comment to you, that there is no point commenting on your future Posts only to be ignored, this is not personal I do the same with everyone who does this, to me Blogging is a Conversation if it’s just one-sided on either Blog, I see no point continuing and move on, although this time I still feel Ark and John need a wake up call in regard to their mortality but perhaps someone else will do so and also cause them to question what comes after death, but perhaps someone already has done this and they ignored them or made light of it.

As I shared ColorStorm I don’t like being ignored for any reason and I was patient enough, how many Posts have you done since and also comments, there is over 70 on the Post now, how many are yours. .
You cannot compare your not responding to my comment with what Jesus did in regards to Lazarus, He knew the beginning to the end, it was not apathy or for His own interests but to show God’s power working in Him.
If you have a good reason for ignoring my comment than share it ColorStorm I do enjoy your Focus but I do not play games or allow others to play emotional games at my expense.

Yes Philippians ColorStorm is a great book but than so is all the Bible because as recorded it was all inspired by God our Abba Father.
