Once again I found shopping this year with the evil Halloween propaganda a time of displeasure and sadness especially when I reflect how far some have come from not rejecting what God calls evil, instead they have one foot in the world and the other claiming they are believers but God calls them lukewarm, they are neither hot or cold and He says they will reap what they sow eternally, unless they come to heart repentance.

Ephesians 5: 8 -11 For you were once darkness but now you are Light in the Lord. Live as Children of Light for the Fruit of the Light consists in all goodness, righteousness and Truth and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness but rather expose them. (K.J.V)
This year the Halloween images and costumes were much worse than I have seen before, with blood flowing from Vampires mouths, disembodied figures, Ghosts and Skeletons screeching and crawling along the floor and other monstrosities, all to celebrate Satan’s Day, yes that’s what it is and many show by their actions and costumes that’s what they are propagating.
I’m reminded once again that God tells us to focus or think about what is good. Yes as I have shared much more than once before, we are to accept warnings with thankfulness about those things that are dangerous and evil and also warn others and we don’t allow evil to be part of our lives or do we focus on it and willingly participate in worldly demonstrations that are promoting evil.
Philippians 4: 8 Finally Brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are Lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things.(K.J.V)

I once had a pastor that remarked, “If you play with fire, you WILL get burned!” I have always kept that in mind. It is good advice for more than just Halloween. There are fortune tellers and those who claim to speak to the dead. Thanks for the reminder. Blessings to you dear Annie!

Your Pastor was right Debbie, I got burned in my younger years, the Occult is a very dangerous place to be and many of our Children are being desensitized to just how evil it is.
When I see Skeleton heads on a lot of Children’s clothes and on their toys and evil looking painted plaster images of Demons , Vampires, Witches etc which are placed in their view when they go shopping and not just for Halloween, I cringe, whats next!… yes Tattoos which are just as evil and very dangerous to their health as they poison the Blood for 8 mths and sometimes much longer.
Yes Debbie so True, some even pray to the dead instead of Jesus our only Mediator and yes they are told to do so by their Church, sad but True.

Yes Debbie your right, the Victory was won on the Cross and not one of us who God knows as His own will be lost Eternally, He protects our Soul but we have much to go through before the end, yes being hated, persecution and for many of us being Martyred but as you know I hold onto God’s words of assurance below and I know you do too and on others in Scripture, that we are not alone and never will be again, He is with us all the way.
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Its true that Halloween is something we as a Nation we don’t need to import, Its only in recent times that this American take on, has gained in popularity. It encourages young people to dress up in ghoulish costumes and depict witches and devils and all horrible things. Our society has enough unpleasant and horrible activities, why not have an event that encourages the children to emulate some beautiful and finer elements of life, to have your mind focused on happy and bright thoughts must be a healthy and Godly option!

Thanks Love and I agree with you 100% we need to distance ourselves from evil Secular activities but sadly even some who go to Church have one foot in the Word and the other in a Christan agenda, which is only Christian as they what to accept it and if it doesn’t suite their program or preferences than they substitute what they want even those things that are not acceptable to God, like Halloween’s evil practices.
