Once again my Scooter battery ran low last night, I thought there would be enough charge to do all my Shopping but there wasn’t, I had forgotten the short trips I had made during the week and so I was left parked outside of Woolworths, it was cold and would soon be dark but I was more worried about Hailey and Jasmine, two young girls from my Funday School that I had promised could sleep over again, I wouldn’t be home when they came and I didn’t have their Mother’s phone number with me to let them know I would be late and why. I plugged in the Battery that I always carry just in case to a power point outside of Woolworths, not welcoming the hours it would take to have enough charge to get me at least to the next Shopping Center, so I would be able to recharge again out of the cold night air.
I prayed as I waited, if only I could let the girls know, it was already nearly 5:00pm and I had only been charging half an hour and than amazingly I saw their brother Rick, Wow I couldn’t believe my eyes, I called out to him, he told me his Mum was shopping in Woolworths which is not our closest Shopping Center, I asked him to tell her that I would be home late and why. I was still amazed that my prayer had been answered so quickly and in such a special way and I told him so, Rick who is 13 also comes to my Funday School, he told his Mum that I was broken down and that I had said he was an answer to prayer and he sure was but there was more to come.
After Rick left I settled down for a long wait thanking God for His answer, Chance does happen as the Scriptures confirm but I knew this was more than Chance and what I discovered later proved it to be. I had phoned the RACQ but they would not have taken me home although they would have fully charged the Battery for me at their nearest Service Depot but there would still be a long waiting time, Ron felt it was better to charge it myself than to wait for them and I agreed.
But about 6oclock feeling very cold and worried about getting the Flu again, I reasoned from past experiences that I would have enough charge to get me to the Shopping Complex where K- Mart is to be able to continue charging enough to get me home and I would be out of the night air there. I unplugged and braced myself against the cold as I headed off, I started to sing Christian songs and felt better, I always do.
As I approached the Car-park which is all uphill at the back of the Shopping Center, I expected the Battery to show low but it didn’t it was still showing fully charged which was strange because it should not have, I continued on and because it was still showing fully charged outside of K-Mart I headed home and yes I was thanking God, the Scooter remained fully charged until I got to the top of my street and than one green light went out but there was no doubt now that I would make it home OK this time.
The girls live not far from me so I called in, their Mum said she would bring them up after dinner, which they would have been having with me, had I not lost Power. When I got home just after 6.30pm the first thing I did was put the charger on although my Battery was still showing all the green lights except one which means it would not take long to be fully charged again, it normally takes up to 5 hours from flat.
The girls came just after 7pm, we had some desert and talked about everything as we usually do and than we played Monopoly, time went real quick and than it was bed time for the girls, I checked on the Scooter but it was still charging and it was about 9:30pm it did not add up it should have finished a lot sooner because of being almost fully charged although I couldn’t understand why it was. I put the girls to bed and we talked and than said a good night prayer, they were tired and so was I, it had been a long day and I planned to go to bed too after the Battery was fully charged.
At 10pm the Battery light was flashing, which means it was almost finished charging, it stopped about 10:10pm which meant there must have been no Battery life left when it slowed right down but how did I get home from Kmart or even get to there …. Yes it was God’s Power, which we can never underestimate, He is God of the impossible.
Another wonderful example of God’s intervention is shared by Marie, see link below, we never have to doubt what’s impossible for man is always possible for God.

Annie, I was reminded to the widow in 1 Kings 17 whose oil and flour did not run out. As we serve the LORD, He takes care of all our needs. God wanted to make sure you kept that appointment with the girls! 🙂 What a fun evening of sharing God’s love with others!

Gods timing is always perfect! God is indeed is watching over you (and all of us) and that you made home safely for a good old fashioned game of Monopoly.

Yes God’s timing is always Perfect Patty and I’m sure if you knew you would be surprised how many times He has used you to brighten someones day like you do mine.
I have never enjoyed a game of Monopoly Patty as much as I did with the girls even though I lost which is unusual but it was the girls kindness that made it so special as I shared about with you in my other response, they are not perfect but they sure have a lot of Love in their young hearts.
Thanks again for being you too – Blessings – Anne.

Very True Marie but I wish there were enough adjectives to express just how Awesome God is but there isn’t and never will be but we know in our heart without a word being said how wonderful He is when we Love and Trust Him.
Thank you for your kindness in linking my message Marie, your Testimony of God’s intervention was wonderful too, I will put a link on my message to yours, the more we share about His Faithfulness towards us the more others will Trust Him instead of having fleshy fear of Him.
