Today I would like to share with you a message by Peter concerning Marriage, I have been following Peter for a few years now and have found him to be a Man who Trusts in God’s Truth and lives it. I know you will be blessed as I have been in what Peter shares and you can be sure he does not water down God’s Truth for itching ears but he does share with understanding and Love and he is also a wonderful encourager who takes an interest in others too.
Thank you Peter for sharing God’s Truth in our Unity in Marriage, it is a very important part of our lives, God tells us it is not good for Man to be alone and that Woman need the Leadership of Men and also their protection and provision but most importantly their Sacrificial Love.

Christian Love in our Unity in Christ Jesus – Anne
Do you and your spouse think alike all the times? In a married relationship, many of us expect our spouse to think alike but end up frustrated when it goes the other way. When two people coming from different background, family tradition and other diversities join in marriage, it is most likely that they will think and act differently. Robert C Dodds rightly said, “The goal in marriage is not to think alike, but to think together“. This oneness is very essential in marriage. In this post, i want to share from scripture on how we can achieve unity in our married lives.

Yes that is also True Barb but as Christians we are to aim for unity, two wrongs don’t make a right , we do what God tells us even if they don’t.

A good sound article from Peter and as I shared with him, I particularly liked Robert Dodds comment ,’ the goal of marriage is not to think alike , but to think together .’ And that also applies to the the Church, The Bride of Christ . When this happens we see reflected ,humility, patience meekness and bearing one another in love. Thanks Anne for sharing it .
Blessings

Yes I agree Love, we need to seek to understand each others differences that make us unique and in the Body of Christ too but in regard to God’s Truth, we are to be of one mind, meaning in agreement, as we see confirmed in the Scriptures below , there are no contradictions in Scripture, the Holy Spirit does not say one thing to one person and something different to someone else that contradicts but yes He may share something new with you that you can share with me or me with you but it will always be confirmed in the Scriptures. We are to resolve our differences by bringing them to God and He will show us who is in error.
1 Corinthians 1: 10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
Philippians 3:14-16 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, where to we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in Peace; and the God of Love and Peace shall be with you.
