The Dark Satanic Powers that Deceive and Control…..

Today I want to share with you about The Occult, New Age and Pagan Religions, all are very Dangerous and lead to deception and mind control, please feel free to share your own experiences of any of these tools of Satan, we are all called to warn of danger.  After these we will look at Atheists, False Teachers or Wolves in the Church, Cults and Childish and Deceived Christians, also very detrimental to our Maturity in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 5: 8 -11 For you were once darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord. Live as children of Light for  the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness, righteousness and Truth and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

First I would like to share with you the very real danger of the Occult, it has a deadly focus and outcome, it’s  Satan’s playground the same as New Age teaching and Paganism, their message is evil and Christians participation in them is in direct disobedience to God, which is very dangerous because we will reap what we sow until we come to our senses and repent.

Deuteronomy 18:10-11 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an Enchanter, or a Witch. Or a Charmer, or a Consulter with familiar spirits, or a Wizard, or a Necromancer.(KJV)

As a young person I innocently became involved in the Occult , it started with a T.V show called Bewitched, it seemed harmless but dangerous seeds were planted, I longed to be like Samantha the Star of this show, a good white Witch, or Wiccan (see below) but they are evil and so sadly in the end my life became a nightmare of delusion and fear, I could not find the power that was promised to be like Samantha although I did search for it which led to very harmful beliefs and practices but thankfully I didn’t become involved with a Coven and Satan worship which is where it could have led and these are the deep things of Satan and even murder is practiced in their sacrifices to him.

Wicca the polytheistic nature religion of modern Witchcraft whose central deity is a Mother goddess; origins are in Pagan religions.

Later I became  involved with Tara card readings, Occult Numerology, and Astrology Charts focusing on the daily Stars but the lies that they projected weighed heavy on me and I was very troubled and had no peace even having nightmares until I repented and rejected the Occult and all that it involved but this was later in my life.

I went to a Clairvoyant in my early twenties and her predictions at first were pleasant but than she told me I would die on my second trip overseas and other disturbing premonitions and so the seeds were planted.

We need to remember only God knows the future and those He reveals it to  but they will be His anointed not Satan’s followers and yes Satan does know the past and the present, so  those who predict the future which will be based on lies, with them being motivated and in his empowering, will be very convincing in what they predict having shared past and present events.

Leviticus 19:31- “‘Do not turn to Mediums or seek out Spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God. (NIV)

When I went on the second trip overseas which I didn’t do until I was in my Thirties  the Plane hit turbulence and the seeds that had been planted bore bad fruit  and I panicked but I can assure you I didn’t die although it was a very fearful experience.

In New Age religious practices they separate Jesus from what they term “the Christ.” there are some differences, but they agree that the Christ is divine, but is often regarded as a cosmic, impersonal entity. They allege that this Christ-force or principle took over the body of the man Jesus with a view to helping humanity evolve spiritually. This same Christ is said to lie dormant within each person, waiting to be fully realized so that humanity as a whole may experience spiritual enlightenment, so be careful when sharing with them, you may be deceived and think they are Christians.

One of the major things they all focus on  is Meditation and Yoga, seeking spiritual guides and claiming they will  bring peace and serenity. I know one Christian woman who was curious and so went to one of the Yoga classes only to find she became involved, it lead her eventually into deep sin and destroyed her Christian witness. Be warned Yoga exercises originated in Pagan worship to their gods, to participate in them is Spiritual Adultery which will give Satan a foothold in your life. 

But also as a warning too we need to keep things in balance, not focusing on evil in extreme so it occupies our thoughts causing us fear.   I came in contact with a Christian Ministry years ago who went to extremes in their teaching , even banning Candles, Crosses and other harmless objects because they are used by those involved in the Occult, New age and Paganism,  this also included black Cats,  Butterflies and Ravens which are part of their symbolism but they were created by God and are not to be rejected just because they are used for evil.

This is the same with our Christmas symbols, it is what we  use them for that matters and how we view them in our heart, everything God created is very good, even though man may pollute them but God  does prohibit Tattoos and Body Piercing all types and this is not just under the law but is so we do not identify with New age and Paganism physically as well as spiritually  and this warning is for every generation of Mankind and with us being  in the end times now, is a warning about the mark of the Beast too.

Leviticus 19:28  Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord.

Deuteronomy 14 :1 Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.

God tells us that we will be greatly blessed if we obey His guidelines, they are for our good and we will want to obey Him if we Love Him and He tells us not to have anything to do with the deeds of the darkness which is sin and gives Satan a foothold in our lives but we can be assured he won’t win, Jesus always has the Victory.

Thank you for sharing with me about the dangers of the Occult, New Age and Paganism, may you be greatly blessed in your walk with The Lord and not encounter any of these tools of Satan but if you do, walk away with confidence they can’t hurt us unless we welcome them into our lives, so instead we don’t focus on them but on what God tells us to do  below.

Philippians 4: 8- 9  Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
