So would you rather believe a lie or know the Truth, this may sound like a strange question to ask, of course who wouldn’t want to know the Truth but surprisingly when telling a joke with this as the opening question, some said; that depends, perhaps they were seeking to protect themselves from something they didn’t want to know but to be honest I would rather always believe in the Truth than believe a lie.
The message I posted recently called “Who do we Believe” especially the part about our not continuing to sin (see link below ) raised some objections from those who had been taught differently, although what they believed was not confirmed in Scripture when read in context, I thought it would still be helpful to share these objections as they can cause confusion if not resolved and lead to believing a lie which is something God warns us about.

One objection they raised was that in Romans 7 Paul shares how he lives with his sin so they believe we must go on sinning till we die. Paul’s Thorn was because of his flesh, he had the sin of worldly pride, which meant he had separated himself from God and given Satan a foothold, and yes he did share about his battle with his Carnal flesh in Romans 7 but called himself wretched and believed Jesus would set him free, than Paul told us what to do about our evil flesh in (Romans 8 :12-15 – Romans 6 – Colossians 3:4-6 -Galatians 24 -26) and other Scriptures, we all need to put it to death by The Spirit as I have shared with you before.
Another Objection was that God tells us if we say we are without sin we are calling Him a liar but if we read (1 John 1:8-9) in context (see below) we will realize it is referring to those who say ….. we have not sinned so don’t need Salvation and so they are calling God a liar, which sadly many do even some in the Church, they cover up their sin, minimize it or blame others instead of having True heart repentance, yes until we are Born Again and perfected in Love when it will no longer be necessary Jesus is our Advocate and we can be forgiven.
When we read below 1John1 in context, it tells us that if we walk in darkness or sin we do not know Jesus in our heart, we do not have the Light, so it is not talking about continuing to sin but is referring to our Salvation as I shared before and if we claim we don’t need Salvation because we haven’t sinned we are calling God a liar.
1John 1:5-10 This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the Light, as He is in the Light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Sin is not referring to weaknesses and shortcomings, they are not sin and we are not to judge them as such in others or ourselves and this is the same with our emotions, yes they can lead to sin but they are not sin, we all have them and so does God, of course He does not worry but He does not condemn us for worrying but reassures us we don’t need to because He is always there to help us.
When we are Born Again and perfected in Love which we are all to aim for, putting our Carnal flesh to death, as the Scriptures confirm we are than cleansed from all unrighteousness which causes us to sin, and so we are conformed into the image of Jesus because He lives in us and we walk as He walked on earth, which was in Love and without sin.
1John2:6 He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked. KJV
1John 4:16-19 And we have known and believed the Love that God hath to us. God is Love; and he that dwelleth in Love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in Love; but perfect Love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in Love. We Love Him, because He first Loved us.
Another Objection was that we can’t work for our Salvation it is a free gift and this is True but we will show we have it as confirmed below, it is not works to aim to be perfected in Love it is obedience and without works faith is dead but because we Love God and others, we will willing to do God’s good works that He has prepared in advance for us to do and equipped us to do them as He motivates and empowers us through The Holy Spirit but we need to be fit vessels first.
2 Timothy 2:19-21 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, let every one that nameth the Name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the Master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
God tells us to resolve our differences , we are not to argue or even agree to disagree, both end in division as we can see by all the different Cults and Denominations something that Paul warned against, we are to follow Jesus not man. Perhaps you have other objections that confirm and condone that we go on sinning when we are Born Again, if so please feel free to express them and we will seek God together for a resolution by the conformation of His inspired Scripture and than through the empowering of The Holy Spirit we will have the right understanding.

Believing a lie which is intended to harm is dangerous and this includes white lies with the same intent, they are never comfortable even if this man believes they are because they lead to Eternal Separation from God and Suffering, it is not His will that anyone perishes, it is their choice.
God’s reality has been proven, which one day this man will realize but hopefully before judgment day he will come to heart repentance like I did, for his sin and his foolishness in believing God does not exist and did not create him, which because He did makes this man answerable to Him as it does with all of us.

You can call me all the names you want to Arkenaten but I wont post anymore of your comments, I warned you and gave you plenty of time to confirm whatever you believe with Scripture but all you offered was mindless repetition.

We will continue here Arkenaten having run out of room below, in answer to your question about the Internet, it has too much error, Websites copy other peoples errors on their Websites or Blogs and also add to them, they contradict themselves and there is very little proof of what they claim. I sometimes use it as a reference but I do not just accept it as fact unless proven substantially, just because someone claims something is True does not make it so. I found this with Snopes, it also claimed things that were just hearsay and they had very little faith in God and so were biased in their understanding and reporting of Christian Stories and other Websites were the same, the best one was Fact or Fiction but it still had error, although much less. I believe God first not mankind.
You never answered my question Arkenaten, do you believe God keeps His promises?
I use the King James Version now as a reference being the closest widely accepted Translation to the original, it has less of man’s errors but God shows me Translation errors when needed so I do not worry about these, I recognize error too when reading on Websites and Blogs.
In reference to God’s Name it depends were you live, how you say it, they are only letters and so as a word are said differently depending on the Language you speak or what Century you were born and the Country you were born in.
God’s name is not just letters it is who He is and in Scripture He calls Himself different names such as I AM , Lord Almighty, Abba Father, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jehovah etc He is The First and The Last, the Beginning and the End. The Godhead sums up all His names because they show His Nature , His Focus His Motivation, His Power and Authority, God is Love,.
Jesus Christ was called Emanuel God with us and also The Living Word, The Holy Spirit is called our Counselor and Comforter and our Teacher sharing God’s Truth as He receives it and so is Jesus called by these names too, They all have the same seed or Nature, They are One in The Spirit but They have different roles in The Godhead. This is like a Husband and wife, the Husband is in Authority and the Wife is his Helpmate but they are still One in the flesh, God The Father or our Abba Father, is in total Authority, He is over all but They are still One in Spirit. God The Father, Jesus Christ and The Holy Ghost because They are Love and in Christ Jesus we are One with them in Spirit because He lives His life in us and so we have the same Nature or God’s seed -1John 3:9.

I can’t help you anymore Arkenaten, without The Holy Spirits empowering and also God’s wisdom you will never understand and as you are also rejecting His inspired words in Scripture and will not answer if you believe He keeps His promises, than there is no point in us continuing, it is wasting both our time.
I believe God keeps His promises and He tells us if we lack His wisdom which we are not born with and the same as the Holy Spirits empowering, we are to ask and we will receive and I did , so to be honest I don’t care what you believe or say or anyone else because I believe what Jesus tells me and which He also confirms, He is our only Teacher.

It is sad that in the search for truth so many fundamentalists simply refuse to enter into honest dialogue, preferring to resort to dogma inspired replies that merely lead to a shutting down of communication.
I have asked politely throughout our entire conversation for you to tell me the name of the god you worship yet not once have you afforded me the decency or honesty of stating in writing the name of this god, rather directing a deluge of biblical rhetoric without due thought or consideration.
Do you truly wonder why those of different faiths, and even those from from different sects/denominations within the same faith are continually at loggerheads?
When those who claim to be a shining example of the god they claim to serve display such wanton arrogance.
How are children supposed to react when adults behave in this manner?
Children who are told they will go to ”Hell” if they do not obey?
Children who have explosives strapped to them and sent on suicide missions for their god?
Children who are inculcated with dogma that states Dinosaurs co-existed with humans: that the earth is only 6000 years old?
Children who are shot by extremists for attending a school.
How do you, a devout christian, ever expect to bridge the gaping chasm of spiritual divide between reality and such gross religious ignorance when you adopt such an attitude?

You need to do some research, it has now been proven by Scientists that the earth is young and the dating methods used by Evolutionists invalid. Happy New Year, the Australians will be celebrating sooner than the Southern Californians will.
Alas, I’m another one of those many people who do not consider any of the Middle Eastern holy books to be of much if any value. So, when those who have narrowed down their entire lives to a book they consider the end all and be all and almost a god in its own right run into those of us who could care less about it, there’s bound to be massive disconnect. Questions are asked and answered with lines the believer considers the best answers out there, but then is upset and confused when non-believers say, in effect, “Huh?”.
It is sad to see that no matter where you go among the Christians, or what questions you ask, or what you do for that matter, the bottom line keeps going back to the threat of believe (our way, not one of the other ways), worship (ditto), or else! When the Christians run out of arguments, the fallback position is that their God will torture anyone who doesn’t “get it” for all eternity. What they don’t understand is that this is enough to turn anyone off from being interested in what they have to say. Wouldn’t it be better to turn your focus out into the real world and put your energy into helping others? Remember that story about feeding, clothing, comforting the hungry, sick, naked, etc guy down the street? You know, the one that ends with “Whatsoever you do for one of these, the least of Mine, you have done it unto Me”. Don’t worry about getting some subparagraph right, or shoving the book at others. Australia has it’s poor and unfortunate just like everyone else, take care of them, not by giving them some old book, but by giving them food, shelter, clothing etc. I had kind of thought that was what you were supposed to do.

Did you know Mariah God tells us that man can’t live on bread alone and that we need His Truth and did you know it is your choice to accept or reject Salvation, God won’t force you to respond to His free gift of Salvation in Christ Jesus but because He Loves you He will grieve if you reject Him because He knows you will suffer Eternally.
Wow did you know Mariah, you can have all that rubbish you believe in cleaned out of your mind, yes it’s called brain washing and you will be given a crutch to lean on so you don’t fall down and suffer needlessly.
Did you know when Jesus lives in us nothing anyone tells us negatively about His reality or His Truth, can stop us believing in what He tells us because we know He does not lie and that those who propagate Satan’s lies do.

It is interesting that you should pose such a question. The bible is so rife with mythological nonsense that one can only cherry pick to find the merest grains of what might be called truth.
The rest is simply open to interpretation, something Christians have been doing for millenia and the fact that there are some 40,000 separate christian cults is testimony to this ”truth”.

Sorry Arkenaten that my response to you was delayed, I live in Australia and when I received your comment last night, it was late and time to go to bed.
By your statements, you show you have very little understanding of God’s inspired words in Scripture, so what evidence do you have that there is no God, have you died and come back and so can say without doubt there is no God or Heaven or Hell, what is your foundation for rejecting God and the Scriptures, it’s easy to say you do but were is your proof.
Evolution Scientists have not established that there is no God, even after trying for many years, they are still working on theories without facts, they have never been able to create viable life from nothing or even from simple substances like jelly larva which they said we evolved from and the Big Bang has proven to be a fallacy, the only things they have found agree with Creation too and even their dating of the earth has proven to be in error but we knew that was impossible by the Scriptures and even by Secular History and fossils.
I can prove there is a God, for one thing you have a belly button that no other animal has or has ever had, so we couldn’t have evolved from one also our D.N.A is different and does not mix. When Man had no way of knowing, the Bible tells us the earth was round, man believed it was flat for many years after this was recorded as they had no way of knowing differently.
God tells us about D.N.A over two thousand years ago and even Aids and there was no Pathology in those days. He told us many other things in Scripture that have come True and others that will come true, we can already see the beginnings of them. Christmas and Easter are also confirmed as Truth, regardless of what gods Pagans worship on these days they are both confirmed in the Bible as we celebrate them today.
You also seem to have no knowledge of what a Cult is but than how could you because you do not know God’s Truth only what Carnal man thinks.
When I share about Jesus and other Christians do too, we offer Hope for a wonderful Eternity but what do you offer, except a hopeless end.

Yes Arkenaten fair enough but do you know anything about the Scriptures and how they came to us, this will held in your understanding. A lot of the Old Testament was confirmed by The Dead Sea Scrolls found in the caves, yes there were other writings by religious men of different faiths but the Scriptures in the Old Testament as we have them today were confirmed and the Old Testament confirms Scriptures in the New Testament too.
I worship the Godhead, They are called the Trinity today, meaning Three in One, which is confirmed in Scripture in both the Old and New Testaments. The Name Trinity is a relatively new word and was first used in the 18th Century but before this time they were called the Godhead, also meaning Three in One, as we know some words change over time and even some of their meanings, this is True in Secular writings too.
In the early Greek there were no small particles such as… a, is or at etc and it was all written in Upper case, perhaps God was yelling at us Lol. Dinosaurs were called Dragons and are mentioned in the Scriptures as being alive with man and fossils have been found dating about this time. God also tells us about Aids and D.N.A but not by those names, although He does describe them. There are others things like these Truths as I shared in my first response to you that only God could have known when they were recorded.

It seems Arkenaten even knowing the New Testament as you claim, you still have no understanding of who The Godhead is, which is not really surprising because you don’t have The Holy Spirit but I’m not saying you won’t have but until you do it is really pointless continuing because without His empowering and God’s wisdom, you are a natural or worldly man so it will be just foolishness to you ( see below ) and so Jesus our only Teacher can’t lead you into all Truth.

I really do hope Arkenaten you come to your senses and repent, I will pray that you see the Light before it is too late, time on earth is limited as prophesied in the Scriptures and as confirmed in what is happening in the world today.

Thank you , Anne, but I am fully aware of the term godhead as it refers to the Trinity; a construct in its entirety of the early church. You are aware of the Arian controversy, I presume? If not please feel free to ask and I will gladly pass on any and all details I have, including factual historical links.
So, once again, please would you tell me the actual name of the god your worship. That way we may have a fruitful discussion unencumbered by the idiosyncrasies of semantics.

I’m sorry Arkenaten but as the Scriptures confirm without The Holy Spirit you can’t understand the Reality of The Godhead or God’s Truth, you are in darkness. If I want confirmation on something I go to Jesus not man, I don’t hear Him audibly like some do but I hear Him in my Heart. My life also shows His reality by Miracles and signs and wonders which are Medically documented or witnessed and only God could have done them as proven, they were impossible for man.
You are welcome to continue to share Arkenaten but there is really no point, I know the reality of The Godhead in my Heart, you are deceived and not having The Holy Spirit indwelling, you can’t recognize the Truth in Scripture even if I share it with you but if you would still like the Scriptures that confirm The Godhead both in the Old and New Testament I will be happy to share them with you or do you reject God’s inspired words too, as I said before they have been proven too as Truth.

What you believe about the godhead is entirely up to you, the facts are documented, I cannot do anything about this. It is there in history and will remain so. I cannot be accused of anything underhand or ignorant. You must take your case up with the likes of Constantine and Theodosius, Eusebius or Arius. Maybe even the current leadership of the Roman Catholic Church? It is foolish to ‘shoot’ the messenger.
The question I have asked from the outset is simply what is the name of the god you worship.
Why do you find it so difficult to write this name? Are you ashamed or do you not know the name of your god?
Will you please tell me your god’s name?

Arkenaten I have told you His name They are called The Godhead 3 in One and they are i The Old Testament as One too, sorry you are a deceived messenger who can’t receive the Truth because you don’t have The Holy Spirit.
My Birth Mother was Catholic but I’m not a Catholic or any other Denomination although I know a lot about each one, I belong to God’s universal Church and that includes people from all Denominations but it is not about a building but our hearts and Unity in The Body of Christ.
I’m not interested in the propaganda on the Internet, there is a lot of error in their teachings which of course are not confirmed in Scripture and this is the same with the Jewish Cults.
Do you believe God keeps His promises?

Why would you consider the internet propaganda and something like the bible truth when the bible has many different versions?
That the two major christian sects, catholic and protestant, do not even have the same bible, and cannot even agree over certain aspects of the biblical character, Jesus of Nazareth?

Yes when we do understand God’s heart of Love for us, all our doubts disappear, confusion comes when we listen to man’s deception not God’s Truth, this is why we need His wisdom and empowering to know the difference.

I like the 1John 5 reading ,where he says Christ brought the light into a darkened world. Like today we are called to bring the light of Christ with us , wherever we go, hoping as we do that the darkness and uncertainty of life ; will be illuminated by Christs message of love and peace.

Yes that’s what we seek to do Love but as we know we can’t be Light if we are still in darkness, to be fit vessels for God’s good works we need to do what He asks us to do, which is to put our Carnal flesh to death and be perfected in Love.
