People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered…
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind,
People may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives…
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful,
you will win some false friends and some true enemies…
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank,
people may cheat you…
Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building,
someone could destroy overnight…
Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness,
they may be jealous…
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today,
people will often forget tomorrow…
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have,
and it may never be enough…
Give the best you’ve got anyway.
You see, in the final analysis
it is between you and God…
It was never between you and
them anyway.
Mother Teresa’s Daily Prayer…
Dear Jesus, help me to spread Your fragrance everywhere I go. Flood my soul with Your spirit and life. Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly that all my life may only be a radiance of Yours.
Shine through me and be so in me that every soul I come in contact with may feel Your presence in my soul. Let them look up and see no longer me but only Jesus!
Stay with me and then I shall begin to shine as You shine, so to shine as to be a light to others; the light, O Jesus, will be all from You; none of it will be mine: it will be You shining on others through me.
Let me thus praise You in the way You love best by shining on those around me. Let me preach You without preaching by words but by my example, by the catching force, the sympathetic influence of what I do, the evident fullness of the love my heart bears to You. Amen.

Whether we agree or not with the practices and doctrine of different Denominations we need to remember God’s vessels who were faithful to Him and to the Truth of His Word by imitating Jesus Christ, they did this by their words and actions showing God’s great, unconditional Love to everybody in both big ways and small and let’s be thankful for those who do the same today and help them multiply through the Power of God working in us.

I so needed to read this today sister Anne. Me and my wife are experiencing hurts from bitter friends who won’t leave us alone , and of my sibling who refused to see the truth about her husband’s evil ways but instead had the situation reversed as me being the bad guy and my wife. I prayed for 9 years that she will open her eyes and heart but so far, she refused to believe. I’m hurting but I’m praying God will take it away and that one day, she will see the person he really is. His in America while he left his wife and two sons in the Philippines making false promises that will never happen. He scammed us in 2005 and took away $30,000for which I’m paying till today. But saddest part, even my parents thought I made it up and refused to listen when I start talking about it. I prayed hard that God will give me the grace to forgive, in a way I did but a month ago, the wound started fresh again as my sister started texting my wife with cruel accusations. I’m praying that my family relationship will be healed , even more as holidays are to a near. Pray for me my friend. Thank you for all your kindness and generous support! God bless.

I will be praying dear friend, I know that the hardest rejection to handle is from those in our own family, it’s hard for those who have not experienced it to understand but it can eat away all the goodness in us if we let it.
Change your wife’s mobile number Island Traveler so this harassment will stop, no one has to put up with being victimized and continue to pray that your Sisters eyes will be opened, God won’t force her to repent but He can show her the need to.

It’s sad Barb but yes sin is in our Churches today and often excused, minimised or covered over, many do not understand the freedom we have in Christ Jesus not to sin.
I’m pleased you had a rest Barb, when I got home from Church I put the M and M’s and myself under a cold shower, they said thanks and when we had all cooled off I had lunch which Ron made, it was yummy! and they chased their wet tails and begged for scraps.

Hi T, it’s good to see you have Posted again, I will visit you later, I have missed your sharing, many times you have touched my heart with your honesty and your Love for Children, I just wish we could have a cuppa and share together in person, I guess I will just have to phone you again.
Yes I Love the song too T although in regard to the message, when I meet other people, I look for their strengths not their weaknesses, it’s True though, some don’t value us but than two wrongs don’t make a right and this is the focus that Mother Teresa applauded because it is wisdom not to repay evil with evil.

Mother Teresa certainly was a beautiful soul , who lived and worked as if Jesus was her daily companion. Loved how the advise was summed up ,”After all it`s between you and God anyway , forget the others .” Yes ,that`s all we have to account to God and He`s a wonderful Boss!”

I agree Love, God is a wonderful Boss but how we treat others is important too because He tells us that is how we are treating Him but ultimately it is just God who we answer to.
