Have you ever wondered what was going on in the World when you were Born, Wow I was amazed, they didn’t even have Google, is that really possible and Dennis the Menace and I Love Lucy were just making their debut. I remember watching both on T.V years later it was only in black and white but I was so excited to be able to go to the Movies in my own home, I didn’t even mind that there was no popcorn.

Oh, wow! So many great things happening on that year. I remember watching Fiddler On The Roof on Betamax as a kid. I remember singing, “If I were a rich man, do-bi-do, bi-do, bi-do…” I still love watching movies on cinema whenever I can. Never the same as DVD or Xfinity cable movies. I remember being excited watching my first cinema, Superman. I was wide eyed impressed. The year I was born, my parents told me the first successful heart surgery was done…does my journey towards the medical profession. If I were to choose, I love the simplicity of the old days. Would I miss internet and smartphones? may be but happiness seems easy them when things were simpler and family just an arm reach away. God bless and best of blessings to your family.

I am thankful for Technology, without it I would not of met you and all my other Blogging friends but in my early days there was not so may problems with staying in touch, a letter, a stamp and a land line phone, we didn’t have outages and hackers. Still to have whats good we sometimes have to tolerate whats bad, not that we agree with it or accept it as OK, God’s like that He is very patient not wanting anyone to perish.

Thanks Anne for the swift return in time to 1935, Monopoly was invented , Microwave radar , Top Hat big movie of the year German expansion in Europe , nylon invented. Ah me seems just the other day ! Different world today of course, thanks for the flashback.
