God’s gift of Friendship…..

FRIENDSHIP TOPTrue Friendship is a wonderful gift from God

And in our life, we have a Special Friend…

Someone who can change our life just by being part of it when we Trust and obey Him…

Someone who helps us believe that there really is good in the world as well as the bad…

Someone who understands our weaknesses and Loves us enough not to let them stay, He lets us go our own way until we learn to Trust Him and Obey…

Someone who is always there for us through the good and the bad…

Someone who shows us, that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for us to open.

Friendship is a gift from God found in Jesus Christ, we give thanks for the friends we have, and we remember that we have a Heavenly Father who Loves and cares for us.

“JESUS IS OUR FRIEND FOR ALL SEASONS”

Love filled friendships ….

FRIENDSHIP 01We always seek to help a friend who is in need, and it’s OK for us to be a friend in need.

FRIENDSHIP 02When we are weak than we are strong, Jesus  empowers us.

FRIENDSHIP 38  We are all created unique, so we have something very special to offer each other.

FRIENDSHIP 03We may be afraid sometimes, but we always have a friend looking after us who is bigger then any problem we have.

FRIENDSHIP 33We seek for the things that are really important in life, that will last for Eternity, like Love and Friendship.

FRIENDSHIP 05We show in our actions not just in our words that we Love others…

FRIENDSHIP 20

Affection is important so Kisses and hugs are great to give and receive.

FRIENDSHIP 06We share  the gift of Laughter and  if needed  the gift of tears  too  with our friends if they are hurting  .

FRIENDSHIP 09We welcome new people we meet, even if they look and act differently.

FRIENDSHIP 10We remain calm, even when it seems hopeless, there is someone who will lighten our load if we ask.

FRIENDSHIP 12

Sometimes we may feel different and are at odds and ends but we hang in there…others may feel this too, so we are there for them if needed.

FRIENDSHIP 14We Love our friends, no matter who they are, and we Love our enemies too- one day they may be our friends.

FRIENDSHIP 18We work together as a team, respecting those at the top

FRIENDSHIP 19We share a joke with friends, but not if it hurts others or is off colour.

FRIENDSHIP 35We do for others what we would like for ourselves and we do it first.

Loving others means being real and letting our friends be too.

We listen to our friends and accept Godly advice.

FRIENDSHIP 32We are always willing to go the extra mile for our friends and all those who are in need of our help.

Dogs cuddelWe say “I Love you” often, even if we don’t hear it back and we show we do, remembering that Love is an Action not just a word.

FRIENDSHIP 22We express our creativity. It’s a gift we can share with our friends.

FRIENDSHIP 08We we don’t judge others weaknesses and shortcomings and we may not understand the things they do but  we are always willing to help them when  they ask.

FRIENDSHIP 25We Love others with all our heart, even if it sometimes hurts.

FRIENDSHIP 27We watch our step but if we fall we ask for help and if others are in danger we warn them because we care.

FRIENDSHIP 26We share  with others without counting the cost.

FRIENDSHIP 29There is  someone who Loves us too more then we know but wants us to know.

FRIENDSHIP 21

Together we can exercise not just our bodies but our Spirits too.

FRIENDSHIP 13We are thankful for good friends and welcome new ones because even our closest friends were once strangers before they walked into our heart.

FRIENDSHIP 28No matter what comes even if it’s bad and we feel trapped, we give thanks  not for the problem but  for what we can learn from it, because we are not alone and all things work together for good.

FRIENDSHIP 37

And every day and at any time we pray for our friends and for their needs and we give thanks for the blessing they are to us.

FRIENDSHIPSWith our earthly friends as we share and spend time with them our friendship becomes closer and more precious and we understand more fully what it means to be friends.

When we trust and believe in Jesus Christ we know and experience His Love, Joy, Peace and Hope. Jesus is our closest Friend and wants to listen and talk with us, He understands our needs and is always available, no problem is too big or to small.

FRIENDSHIP 40Our Friendship with Jesus is complete, there is nothing in the World that can compare, and He will never let us down… and

FRIENDSHIP 41

 Jesus Always Understands…

  1. What a captivating and convicting reminder that all our friendships on earth must strive to reflect the pure love of our best friend Jesus. We often think of Him in many other roles – Father, protector, comforter, teacher – but forget that because He loves us so much, we can approach Him with anything that is burdening our hearts. And likewise, just as we would take great care of any earthly friendship, so must we recognize that His is an invaluable relationship to preserve.

Thank you for your inspiring words.

    God bless always,

    • Thank you for visiting and sharing Katrina and also for your inspiring words, they were what I first noticed about you when I was commenting on Rolain’s Blog and when I visited you on your Blog, my heart was very encouraged and uplifted by your abundant Love for The Lord, you have a lot of Spiritual Maturity Katrina for a young woman, I feel blessed in having met you.

My Friendship Katrina with Jesus started as a Child, I will leave a link for you below to save detail here, sadly later I was deceived and told He was not real and the Bible was just made up stories, I was heartbroken and went on to mess up my life for many years, it took a long time and a lot of heartache before I found my Best Friend again but He was always Faithful… Yes what a wonderful, Loving committed Friend we have in Jesus.

    • Hi Beverly, it looks like you were visiting me as I was reading and commenting on your Blog messages. I was going back to respond to your comment on my Kingdom Garden when I read yours comment here, thank you for getting in touch with me again, I’m pleased the problems on your Blog have been sorted out.

Yes Jesus is our Best Friend Beverly and He will never let us down like others have and He does not hurt us, He is just like our Abba Father, who also Loves us greatly and will always remain faithful, we are His Priceless Treasure and He will take away all the pain of what we have suffered and heal us completely of the damage it has done, not just when we die but now as we live.

The way I forgave those who hurt me in the past and those who still do, was to ask for God’s Compassion for them, yes Hurt people, Hurt people, only Jesus can help them overcome and also help me to keep forgiving them until they are healed too.

    • Hi T thank you for visiting and yes I have not always been faithful in friendship either but as we seek to be, we will be, so I start again today and tomorrow and the next day.

But I’m very blessed, I have wonderful friends including you T and your all unique, yes there is only one T and you are very special. As I was thinking and praying for you, I saw your beauty within, so willing to be all what God wants you to be.

I often say to young girls; your so pretty, are you pretty on the inside too, they look at me kinda funny, so I explain… do you do what Mommy and Daddy ask you, are you kind to others, do you share, they assure me that they do all of them Hmmmm, I wonder what there Parents would say, yes we all need to grow up and you have grown up in the time I have been blogging with you T, you are indeed a woman of strength (see link if needed) and don’t let anyone tell you your not.

Thankfully God has many tools to help us, I was also very encouraged to know that others care about those with disabilities and I know you do too, thank you for your kind, thoughtful heart, expressed not just in words but in actions too.

Jesus is indeed our very best friend – our comforter, healer, teacher and always listens, keeps His promises and never leave us. He picks us up when we are down and most importantly He leads us to eternal life with our Heavenly Father. Like Island Traveler, I have known first hand His love when He also heard my cry and took my pain upon Himself. Praise His Name!

    • Yes Patty, I agree with you 100% Jesus is indeed our Best Friend and like you and Island Traveler, He also picked me up when I had almost given up.

Something that is important for us to remember is God said to Adam even though they were in close fellowship that it was not good for Adam to be alone and we too need each other as the Body of Christ, we are family, our Abba Father has adopted us all… How good is that!.

You often come into my thoughts Patty , I feel so much for you with you not being able to share with your husband at this time but your Love and Trust in Jesus is wonderful to see, which does not mean you have to stop feeling or expressing your feelings, it’s means that you have assurance He drys your tears, holds your hand and shields you from the danger of falling away, Yes He is our Best Friend!

Great graphics Anne on Friendships, loved them, especially doggie ones , yes sometimes animals can show us what friendship is all about . When you have two dogs and they are together for years, they become like brothers or family to each other. Good to get a reality check now and then.

Yes I agree, sometimes we do need a reality check, with us being part of the Body of Christ, we are to Love sacrificially and willingly from the heart, even those who are hard to Love.

The M and M’s are sulking, Daddy with the Car Car, did not take them for walkie, walkies, today, I’m not sure how to explain to them you won’t be taking them for a hoooooooooooooole week!

  8. Jesus indeed our truest friend. Always loving, understanding, giving, forgiving. Beautiful post my friend. Life is indeed more colorful, even bearable when problems comes because of friends. My two BFF, my wife and son of course, helped me through my worst when I thought everyone else were nowhere to be seen. When our family was going through a tough time, Jesus was our comfort and help. He heard our cry. He heard our pain. Today, I moved on though sometimes the heartaches do resurface but I no longer worry because I know he will be there. It’s true that when we are at lowest, we feel God the greatest. If we allow his love to reign in our hearts, we can survive all. In still struggle with my faith, I have my so many flaws but I’m trying to follow his ways and teachings the best I know how. Thank God for friends like who reminds us of his great love, mercy and blessing. Friends that care enough to speak, to be there, to be honest and true. I thank God for my blogger friends who through the years listened without judgement and shared their heart generously. People ask me sometimes why I blog and one of the main reason is that I found amazing friends that I consider my blogging family. The shared comments are all very positive and generous. Take care and God bless you and your family.

    • Dear Island Traveler, you are indeed a very special friend, you have often blessed me greatly by sharing from your heart your words of wisdom. I have walked in your shoes and yes Jesus rescued me too, to save detail here I will leave a link for you…..When we have God’s inner Joy, we feel the closest to Him because He overflows our heart with His Love and we can feel His touch without any barrier.

      Rescued – https://freedomborn.wordpress.com/2013/05/25/jesus-rescued-his-lost-sheep/

No one has the right to condemn anyone else, we are all saved by God’s grace, yes we were all the worst of sinners, our sin crucified Jesus, of course we do not have to like or accept the wrong others do and say and God tells us to rebuke and warn them that they are in danger but we are to Love them and forgive them if they hurt us, just as we were forgiven when we hurt Jesus and our Abba Father and by doing so we also grieved The Holy Spirit too. But we have been set free to choose God’s guidelines now through Jesus instead of the world’s agenda…How good is that!

Christian Love from both of us – Anne.
