I would like to share with you about my white dress which had black stains on it, I used a white out marking pen to cover them up and it worked but a few washes later they were back so I did them again but once again they reappeared so I brought a new white dress and it has no black spots at all.
Before we are Born again and perfected in Love, we are like the dress with the black spots, yes we can cover up our sinful Nature, negative and sinful thoughts and attitudes and try to hide them or ignore them but they will return if we are not clothed in a New Spotless garment which Jesus brought for us by His death but we can’t wear both, one has to go, this is why God tells us to put our evil Carnal flesh nature (Galatians:16-21) to death by choosing to walk in The Spirit.
Colossians 3:4-6 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
Romans 8:1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
As we choose to walk in The Fruit of The Spirit ( Galatians 5:22-23 ) He empowers us to do so and so our flesh is put to death and what is wonderful is our new Spiritual garment is without spot or wrinkle it’s all white, meaning Pure and Holy… the old has gone and the New has come… Jesus has set us free from the Slavery of Sin and no Temptation will be greater then we can bear, He provides the strength to resist all Sin and so we walk as He walked in Victory.
Romans 8 :12-15 Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. or if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons/daughters of God.
John 8:34-36 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed
Galatians 24 -26 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
1 John 3:9 No one who is Born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been Born of God.

Thank you for sharing and yes I agree with you Jalal, Jesus willingly chose to die for us because He Loved us and knew His Father’s heart would be broken if we were not able to spend Eternity with Him, Jesus did not want to be separated from His beloved Father because of our sin and was asking was there another way but realizing there wasn’t He said…… Father your will be done!

Personally I think it is wonderful that Christian Pastors share their God given heart thoughts with each other, with having different Congregations it means many more are uplifted and encouraged and I’m sure Ron has done this too, I will ask him later today.
We can see great similarities in the Gospels this is because they have the same focus and yet we also see their individuality too. Paul also shared many Truths from the Gospels as Jesus did with the Old Testament, this is why not just some parts of the Scriptures but all of them are inspired by God as we see in the Scriptures below and this includes all Paul’s letters too, making a distinction shows lack of understanding in regards to God’s Truth and is mostly caused by Black Spots! which prevents the empowering of The Holy Spirit and Jesus leading them into all Truth and knowledge with His wisdom, instead they depend on fleshy man’s or woman’s understanding, reasoning and logic.
2 Timothy 3:14- 17 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto Salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. It’s my hope and prayer that one day I will be stain free. My journey in faith had it’s up and down. I’m thankful that Jesus has not given up on me. You will be spotless dear friend because you are choosing to be and so God will empower you to be, what He starts He finishes but not by force and because He knows us as His own, just like you shared, He does not give up on us, He is patient giving us time to come to our senses.
My only regret in knowing you Island Traveler, is that you are not my Dad or my Son , to be Loved as you Love your family would be wonderful and if you were my Son I would be very proud of you too but than having you for a friend means I’m greatly blessed and I give heartfelt Thanks to God for your friendship in Jesus our Saviour and King.

Hi Marie, thanks for visiting and sharing and yes as you said believing in Jesus and so knowing what that means, is the only way that we can have the spots removed but as confirmed by the Scripture I shared on my Post (see a few below) we have to choose to walk in the Fruit of The Spirit which means He than can empower us to do so, which means our Carnal flesh is put to death we have been set free by Jesus so we can.
God never forces us to do His will, He wants willing obedience the same as He never forces us to Love Him and others or to ask for His gifts, such as His wisdom and the empowering of the Holy Spirit, Jesus told us to seek, ask, and knock, not just to wait to be sapped as some think, yes I know that seems strange but there are those who do and instead of accepting the freedom they have, they walk in the flesh not the Spirit.

Yes Anne a good analogy , the spotted white dress, sin is the thing that shows up black , when exposed in your life. White , the symbol of purity can only come from God .Black denotes satan , for he has a black heart and only knows evil. so his imprint in your life is black. In the nineties ,I had triple heart bypass surgery, and after that ,all that I had were clean tubes for the heart to function properly. My spiritual heart , can only be cleaned by Jesus and the bible says he makes it white as snow ! Praise God.

Very True Love, only Jesus can set us free from the slavery of sin and just as they replaced your old tubs, we have to to get rid of the old sin Nature that we were born with as confirmed in all the Scriptures that I shared on this message, this is so we can be perfected in Love.
God won’t force us to choose to do His will, He didn’t force Jesus, we choose to obey Him as Jesus did and just like the Prodigal Son when we come to our senses, we repent which also means we choose to no longer sin and when we do He empowers us so we don’t sin, the same as when we choose to obey we have His strength to.
