The Eagle’s Flight of Freedom…..

I did not realise  that Bald Eagle was America’s Symbol, to be honest I didn’t even know my Blog was American, a friend had originally set it up for me but until I realised where I was, I did wonder why some of you were sharing so much about America, but as I thought it was great when we were Holidaying in America, everyone was so friendly and kind to us, I didn’t mind, I was very interested to learn more about you.

I have learnt a lot about Eagles too since I started Blogging in 2011 on American WordPress, I will share more about them in the near future. I think the story about the Eagle, I use on my opening page came from America but I’m not sure, like many others I received it from a friend by e-mail and felt it had great Spiritual Truth as did the song Eagles Wings.

When setting up the Blog, we tried a few names but they were taken so I prayed and Freedomborn came to my mind and it was accepted but when I put Freedomborn in my Spellchecker it only showed Freedom but I was excited about both names because this is what my Blog is all about …. “Freedom in Christ Jesus” When we are Born again we are set free Eternally.

What is being Born Again like ….

I’m will try to explain this Truth so you can see the beautiful and awesome reality that it is.

Let’s say we were born an Eagle, we can be no other way, all our reactions will be as an Eagle, our desires, our wants, our needs, our feelings, even the way we look will be in line with the appearance and true Nature of an Eagle, we can’t be any different, we can’t be like a horse or a dog and think or respond as they would.

This is the same with us when we are Born again of God’s seed (see Scripture below) we no longer have the Sin Nature of Adam we were Born with, we have been Born into perfection, our every motivation comes from God’s seed which is His Nature and by His Spirit within we have the power to be as He is in His Nature just as Mankind was created to be and we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit which means we can’t respond in a Carnal way and we have been Adopted by God , we are in His Family, we are His chosen Children and we can’t be Un -Adopted, we will always be in the image of Jesus Christ and with having His mind, we will think as He thinks so we can’t be Unborn.

1 John3:1-11 (9) No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

What we all need on our journey is God’s wisdom, (see link below) without it the Holy Spirit cannot teach us because we cannot understand the things of God, they will be meaningless and foolish and wisdom without the Holy Spirit is not God’s wisdom but the Worlds, which He warns us about, some believe it is more important than Faith in God.

God’s Truth is revealed to us through the empowering of The Holy Spirit as we ask and receive His wisdom  (1 Corinthians 2: 9-16) Jesus Teaches us and all  Things needed will be revealed.

Matthew 10:26-28 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops (KJV)

2 Timothy 3 – 16 -17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Freedom in Christ Jesus is not about Sinless Perfection where you have to earn your Salvation, it means being set free by Jesus so we are no longer in Slavery to sin. Our Heart Repentance which means we choose to reject evil and seek to do good by The Spirit’s empowering, this shows we believe in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and than being Born Again of God’s seed, we are set Free Eternally and we show we are.

John 8:34-36 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

1John 5 18-20 We know that no one who is Born of God sins; but He who was Born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.

Romans 6: 22-23 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Peter 2:24 Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

God tells us we are to be Righteous in our actions which shows we have Jesus’ Righteousness…

1John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.

I hope the Eagle Analogy makes it clearer to understand what it means to be Born again of God’s seed, yes we first have to put away our sin Nature by putting to death our Carnal flesh as Paul the Apostle tells us to do after he shares his battle with his flesh in  Romans 7 (Romans 8 :12-15-Colossians 3:4-6 -Galatians 5:24 -26)  which he and many others Christian have done as we can see confirmed in Scripture, we can than fly.

1 John 4:17-19 Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in Love; but perfect Love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in Love. We Love Him, because He first Loved us.

Although we are seen by God as perfected from the time we come to heart repentance and so are under His grace, meaning that we can be forgiven while we are putting the flesh Nature to death by the Spirit but it means we are still in darkness if we do sin (1John 2 )

We show that we are saved by walking according to His guidelines as the Scriptures explain in (Romans 8) or as some say we do not Sin so we will be Saved… but because we are Saved we do not Sin, sadly some say it’s impossible not to sin, so they don’t aim for this, they also say they will continue to sin till they die, so they do sin and excuse it but God tells us no Temptation will be greater than we can bear, we have been set free, we are no longer in bondage, we will Soar on High.

Isaiah 40: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (KJV)

I have shared before and it is True, I have not been perfected in Love yet, I’m still on the journey, as Paul said he was at one time before He received the Crown of Righteousness,  the prize of his Salvation (Philippians 3:12-14 & 2 Timothy 4:7-8 ) but I’m aiming for it.

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.

Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

It will be our choice to choose God’s guidelines or our own or others but when we are Born Again we will want to only choose His because we have the mind of Christ and not to do so means we are not Born Again but if we are known by God as His own, we will be or He would not have chosen us by His foreknowledge of our heart’s repentance which is not works but Obedience.

Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

2Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in Peace; and the God of Love and Peace shall be with you.
