Today I would like to share with you a wonderful True life Story about Mason Reynolds, a young boy with a caring heart.
Recently I had lunch with my friend Lenore Burton and as we were enjoying being together again, she shared about Mason, she had met him when he was four, at the time Richard her husband and Lenore as they often do, were seeking to find Supporters for the needy Children in Zambia, (see links below ) Mason seeing the pictures of the Children asked about them, Lenore explained so he could understand that they were Children who had very little and needed to be cared for.

Not long after on Mason’s 5th Birthday he said to his Parents that he had lots of toys, so could people give the money they would spend for his presents to the Children in Zambia and Mason has continued to request this every year since, he is now 7 years old.
No wonder God asks us to become like Children, yes so we can depend and Trust in Him but also to be able to show genuine Love as they often do.
Proverbs 31:9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
Lenore and Richard and other Supporters through their Ministry called Friends of Ebenezer, help Ranji and her husband Nage, a Doctor and their Volunteers to care for Children in their Orphanage, School and Community in Livingstone, Zambia. They provide what is needed including Education so when the Children are Adults they can find work and provide for their own families and others in need, they also teach them how to grow fruit and vegetables and to care for Livestock and they support the Children’s Parents so they can care for them in their own homes but even more importantly they share with the Children how to Love Jesus and others.
Psalm 140:12-13 I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor. Surely the Righteous shall give Thanks unto thy Name: the upright shall dwell in Thy presence.

Yes I too found it amazing Beverly, such compassion in a Child so young, his Parents are not Christians at least not yet but God’s Love has indeed touched this young boy’s life and yes who knows what his future will be but we do know God’s plans are always good even if man messes them up along the way it’s still not God’s will anyone perishes and He will rescue if needed, just as we have both experienced.

Bless the generous heart of Mason who at a very young age saw what generosity and kindness means. His story as well as that of Lenore and all who find in their hearts to give and show a difference for others not only is an inspiration but a light to those blinded in today’s world of self indulgence. Good to hear from you Calab and yes a wonderful story of a very caring Child, having worked many years with Children I have witnessed this sacrificial Love quiet a few times, perhaps not so dramatically as with Mason but just recently a young boy in my Neighborhood who I help to create Power points with comes from a very poor family, they have very little compared to other Children, I gave him some money for helping me walk the dogs when Ron was away and he gave a large percentage to his Sister, sadly some children pick on him because he is a slow learner but he has a wonderful heart too.

Lovely story of Masons heart for those less fortunate than himself, even at such a young age ,it challenges us and shows that what Jesus said so long age was right, even a child shall lead them Mason looks like growing up into a fine caring person .bless him .

Very True, what a caring heart Mason has, his Parents must be very proud of him.
We are all Children Spiritually Love until we Mature in Christ Jesus and to do this we must become like Children in our Trust and dependency on Him, you could be that Child Jesus talked about Ron or me or any Christian but let’s hope we are not childish like those Paul rebuked who were in the Church.
