A Favour to Ask… It only takes a Minute
It only takes a minute… but I haven’t time to say hello there is more important things than this, that is what you need to know…
It only takes a minute… but can’t you see that you’re in my way after all I have so much to do each and every day…
It only takes a minute… but this I really can not spare and anyway what interests you is not something I want to share…
It only takes a minute… but I just don’t have the time to stay I’m really much too busy so please don’t get in my way…
It only takes a minute… but what you have to say just does not rate because it takes too much time and there are other things on my mind, so let’s make another date…Oh never mind your answer, it will make me much too late…
It only takes a minute… but you don’t seem to realize time is very precious so stop crying and wipe your eyes…
It only takes a minute… but why can’t you understand I just haven’t the time to stop or come and hold your hand, You just need to be strong and anyway someone else may come along…
It only takes a minute… but that’s too long I say, can’t you see I’m just too busy to stop for you and pray…
It only takes a minute… but don’t you see you’ve been in despair so long, one extra day really won’t matter… but to be sure some time I’ll be along.
Time Waits For No One… Or so they Say!
Yet God made time stand still for a whole day.
It only takes a Minute… but what if it took an Hour would we take the time to show someone we care or to help them in some way… Or are we just too busy is that what they would hear us say.
“But Why Are We In Such A Hurry Anyway?’
Why Not Ask… What is really the most important thing to do…
Perhaps God’s Answer Will Surprise me and you …
Or would it make us too late for another less important date.
Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

I guess it is true how often we rush thru the day ,and don’t think anything of it . As so often we hear the adage ,’stop and smell the roses ‘ as we go our ways. The bible calls us to slow down to meditate, to contemplate to take the time to listen to His still small voice ; to do that we need to give even more than a minute !

Very lovely thoughts on the busy lives that we lead and for lesser tasks of the world we sacrifice the greater task which we owe to our Lord and to humanity. Weeping with the weeping and sharing someone’s joy doesn’t take much time. It is in a state of frenzy that we are surviving in today’s world and the result is so much ruthlessness towards our own people and coldness towards humanity. One does not stop or take a pause to even consider what is most important in ones short life. Your post is a beautiful reminder that we must stop and think and do what will eventually make us and our Lord happy. Beautiful post. Take care and God bless Anne.

I just Love your heart Samina, I wish I could give you a hug , your a beautiful Sister in The Lord. Of course we do not agree with evil but we are to Love everyone even those who do evil to us and to also seek to do good to them, if they let us, some will hate us and reject our kindness.
I wrote this Poem years ago, I was upset at the time by the saying, although sadly it is True for many even in the Church… “Laugh and the world laughs with you cry and you cry alone,” it should never be this way especially in the Church but sadly it can be.
When my Mother died recently, I was very grateful for the compassion and support I was shown by those I Blog with, including you, I also have wonderful friends who believe and live what Jesus asks us to do in the Scriptures and they ministered to me too.
Some Churches seem to think just because God says it, we don’t have to believe it and live it, some even accept what God tells us is evil. Of course I have been asked more than once, do I really think there are perfect Churches and than told I would make them imperfect if I joined them but we are to aim to be perfect, God asks us to do this but not of course worldly perfection but perfection in Love, somehow some think they will be sapped and so they don’t have to choose to do good instead of bad, God does not go against anyone’s free will but He does empower us to follow His guidelines when we choose to.
