Our Blogging friend Lady Deidre Posted one of my favorite verses about Hope on a Butterfly image and another one later also with a Butterfly and Hope Scripture ( see link below, they are very uplifting )

I had promised Dei some time back to create a Butterfly Power point for her and Shenine and was feeling a bit guilty that I still had not done so because of Computer problems and also with the need later to create other ones but then I remembered a Power point I had received quiet a few years ago and adapted, I think the original had Butterflies, I couldn’t find it to confirm this but if so I also chose some more and added them in and some of my own thoughts as well.
But I was surprised to find that it was titled Hope the same as Dei’s focus with the Scripture. Dei shared that she feels when God sends a butterfly swirling around you, it means “Hope for the future.” and that God is sending encouragement my way and Dei also finds a lot of feathers in her path and wonders what that means…. Hummmm we will see.
I remember also sharing in a Post ( see link below ) that God sent a butterfly when I was feeling down, it was a symbol to me that He understood and cared which gave me Hope not to give up.

The message in the Power point is long but is very uplifting and makes you think about the True values in Life, you will have time to read as you can click the slides on.
We have Eternal Hope in our God of Love, He never lets us down in the good times or in the bad times, He does not willingly afflict us (see below ) but in times of trouble and testing, He shows that He is there with us and He strengthens us so we can endure and this is what we give thanks for.
Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”
Some ask….Do we need the bad times? does God plan them ? No He doesn’t His Planes for us are good not evil but He knows they will come and why and so prepares us for them as He works all things together for good in our lives.
Why does He not just stop them from happening … He would have to stop all evil but He is also patient, it’s not His will anyone perishes, which means separation eternally from Him, so if Discipline is needed we will also reap what we sow, which brings us to our senses and repentance, like it did with the Prodigal son…. But Wow what a welcome Home we receive!
At other times of Temptation, when our Faith is put to the test, it is God who makes us stand firm through the empowering of The Holy Spirit and our trials produce wonderful fruit in us. So yes we can give thanks in all things, we have God’s Eternal Love that gives Hope even in the darkness…..

Yes Loved the power/point on butterflies and Hope , they do go together, for when you see the beauty of the butterfly , your hopes automatically rises. God is such a wonderful designer , His colour combinations can never be matched by man and he does it so we can enjoy His handiwork. halleujah !

I was very blessed by this. Sometimes I fall into the trap of ‘when such-and-such happens, life will be easier…’ The future becomes something that is always just out of reach, while the simple joys of the present are right there before us. The butterflies are so beautiful. I don’t see them much anymore, I don’t know where they have all gone, and I so enjoyed the pictures.

I have a Butterfly in my bedroom Deborah, he has made himself at home, the dogs can’t work out who I’m talking to, it was the same last time, it’s so funny 🙂
I think everyone has your thinking at times Deborah, I’m in limbo myself at the moment, it’s a long story but I’m holding onto God’s confirmed promises to me.

Thank you, Annie! I enjoyed the butterfly “Hope” power point! I liked the part — Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible. Jesus can indeed work in marvelous and fascinating ways if we will but ask, watch, and be thankful!!!

Thank you Dei , I too like that quote very much and I’m pleased you liked the Power point but you will never guess, I have a big Butterfly in my Bedroom and He does not want to leave, he is a beautiful deep colour with purple towards the ends of his wings, they catch the light, I just checked, he is still there, he must have come in with me when I was unpacking the groceries from my Scooter.
I’m missing Ron, he is away with his brother on a golf trip in the Country, they go every year, his mobile is out of range so there is no contact, the furry friends are missing him too, he is daddy with the car. car, ok I know I have lost it , I’ll just go and see if Comfy the Butterfly agrees.

That is truly a beautiful symbol of hope. Butterflies are fascinating creatures. Now I know whenever I see one that God simply wants me to know that he is there for me. To bring light to my life. God bless you my friend.

Hi dear Island Traveler, I’m pleased you were blessed by the message of Hope with the Butterflies. All God’s creation witnesses to His Awesome Love and Power, we can see Him in everything good but why a Butterfly again, it lead me to pray for Shenine’s Mother in Law who is very ill … do I understand why I was lead there …not fully but God is a God of Love, Compassion and Comfort and all that is good and His plans for us always are.
