Urgent Please pray for my Mum…..

I received a phone call from my Brother Alfred in Sydney today, they found my Mum this morning on the floor, she has had a stroke and is now in Intensive care. Mum is paralyzed on the right side and can’t talk, she has a clot on the brain, they were not able to dissolve it as it was too late, it must be done within a few hours after a stroke, the hospital told me when I phoned. 

I have called all my Aussie  friends and they are praying for her but  I would also value greatly if all of my  Blogging friends would pray too,  you too like them are my Christian Family who I Love in The Lord …..

 .

 Please also pray that the Spiritual seeds that were planted during my Mum’s life will bear good fruit, I know God will not go against her will and force her to accept His free gift of Salvation in Jesus but He can bring to her mind the beautiful pictures that show just how much He Loves her and I do have His assurance that she will die in His arms as I have shared below.

My Mum is an Atheist at least in her head but I don’t believe in her heart, she was brought up to know The Lord and has done many kind things in her life but sadly she told me Jesus was just made up and so were the stories in the Bible. I’m not sure why she felt this way but she respected her Mum who was a strong Christian woman and talked about all the kind things she had done,  I’m not sure about her father, Mum never said much about him in regard to his faith but my Aunty told me, he use to often sing the Old Rugged Cross  at home but he didn’t go to Church after the 1st World war ended.

A year before my Sister Julie died, both Mum and her were dying in Hospital, I phoned a World wide prayer chain but not one you have to pay for and the woman who prayed with me, gave me a Scripture that she felt  confirmed they both would  live and not die at that time and this was because of my faith and prayers for them and yes they both didn’t die and God also gave me assurance again through Scripture that both of them would repent  and accept His forgiveness and Salvation and they would know His Peace and Joy for Eternity, without The Holy Spirit we cannot have this assurance for others or ourselves but we also cannot judge critically anyone’s Salvation, they may come to heart repentance on their deathbed or before, only God knows their heart.

Not long before Julie died, she had asked for the Old Rugged Cross to be played at her funeral even though she had lived most of her life without showing any faith in Jesus Christ except that she was a very kind person and did much to help others. We were all sent to Sunday School as Children and like Alfred and I, Julie also asked Jesus to be her friend.

I was working on a  Power Point  when I heard about Mum, I was adapting it for Barb (see her link below ) by using pictures of Australian Mountains, I’m creating a few at the moment but this one has given me great comfort and also assurance especially  today because Ron is working and is not here to do so. The Scriptures in it, reminded me of God’s promises to us His Redeemed Children in times of trouble. I first created it for a friend, after her husband died, I also Posted it on our Blog for Bob and Wendy when they were going through their Storm,  amazingly they brought  back Wendy from physical death 4 times, she has made a good recovery, which we all  have heartfelt thanks to God for, He is the only One who heals regardless of the Tools He uses, many Bloggers were praying for Wendy.

I met Barb last year on her previous Blog, she now has a new one, she is an Aussie and a beautiful gifted woman, like me Barb lost her way but Jesus rescued her and she is now seeking to know more about Him and  is going to Church and following Blogs to do so. I know she has had some very rocky Mountains to climb but  Praise God like all of us we are never alone and when we call to Him in Faith He strengthens us and those we pray for. I hope the Scriptures on my Aussie Mountain Miracles will encourage Barb as it has done  for me today and before, I will Post it in the near future ,although I may need to fly to Sydney soon  to be with my Mum, I will let you know.
